Hybrid simulation has be.n shown to be.a cost-e.fe.tive.approach for asse.sing the.se.smic pe.formance.of structure.. In hybrid simulation,critical parts of a structure.are.physically te.te.,while.the.re.aining portions of the.syste. are.concurre.tly simulate. computationally,typically using a finite.e.e.e.t mode.. This combination is re.lize. through a nume.ical time.inte.ration sche.e.which allows for inve.tigation of full syste.-le.e. re.ponse. of a structure.in a cost-e.fe.tive.manne.. Howe.e.,conducting hybrid simulation of comple. structure. within large.scale.te.ting facilitie. pre.e.ts significant challe.ge.. For e.ample.the.chose. mode.ing sche.e.may cre.te.nume.ical inaccuracie. or e.e. re.ult in unstable.simulations; the.displace.e.t and force.capacity of the.e.pe.ime.tal syste. can be.e.ce.de.; and a hybrid te.t may be.te.minate. due.to poor communication be.we.n module.(e.g.,loading controlle.s,data acquisition syste.s,simulation coordinator). The.e.proble.s can cause.the.simulation to stop sudde.ly,and in some.case. can e.e. re.ult in damage.to the.e.pe.ime.tal spe.ime.s; the.e.d re.ult can be.failure.of the.e.tire.e.pe.ime.t. This study propose. a phase. approach to hybrid simulation that can validate.all of the.hybrid simulation compone.ts and e.sure.the.inte.rity large.cale.hybrid simulation. In this approach,a se.ie. of hybrid simulations e.ploying nume.ical compone.ts and small-scale.e.pe.ime.tal compone.ts are.e.amine. to e.tablish this pre.are.ne.s for the.large.scale.e.pe.ime.t. In se.rch of more.e.fe.tive.re.ime.s for DR-TB, be.aquiline.was introduce. in the.TB program in the.Philippine. unde. ope.ational re.e.rch to asse.s its e.fe.tive.e.s, safe.y, and tole.ability whe. give. with background re.ime.s among patie.ts with multi-or e.te.sive.y DR-TB (MDR/XDR-TB). De.ign: A prospe.tive.cohort study of patie.ts with MDR/XDR-TB was give. with a be.aquiline.containing re.ime. from June.2016 to May 2017. De.ographic data, pre.e.ce.of comorbiditie., and microbiologic profile.on e.try we.e.re.orde.. Be.aquiline.was administe.e. at the.re.omme.de. dose.of 400 mg once.daily for 14 days, the. 200 mg thre. time. a we.k for 22 we.ks toge.he. with World He.lth Organization (WHO)-compliant background re.ime.. The.time.to culture.conve.sion, inte.im outcome. at the.6th month of tre.tme.t, e.d-of-tre.tme.t outcome., and post-tre.tme.t follow-up outcome. afte. one.ye.r was de.e.mine.. The.fre.ue.cy and se.e.ity of adve.se.e.e.ts (SAe. we.e.re.orde. as part of pharmacovigilance. Re.ults: Se.e.ty-five.patie.ts we.e.give. with be.aquiline.containing re.ime. during the.study pe.iod. Forty-two (56.0%) had se.ond-line.inje.table.re.istance. 23 (30.7%) had fluoroquinolone.re.istance. 6 (8.0%) had MDR-TB, and 4 (5.3%) had XDR-TB. In the.6th month of post-e.rolme.t, 79% we.e.culture.ne.ative. The.tre.tme.t succe.s rate.was 65.3% (37 we.e.cure. and 12 comple.e. tre.tme.t), 7 (9.3%) die., 17 (22.7%) lost to follow-up, and 2 (2.7%) we.e.withdrawn from tre.tme.t. Adve.se.e.e.ts include. vomiting (80%), dizzine.s (69%), nause. (52%), cough (44%), and he.dache.(36%). The.post-tre.tme.t follow-up of 49 patie.ts in the.12th month showe. 92% we.e.culture.ne.ative.while.8% of TBC we.e.not done. Conclusion: Be.aquiline.containing re.ime.s for patie.ts
