At the.Bashibulake.Se.tion, the.Pe.M inte.val is characte.ize. by(1) an abrupt ne.ative.shifts in σ13 C_(org), σ13 C_(carb) and σ18 O(-3%, -4.5% and -3%re.pe.tive.y);(2) an obvious ne.ative.corre.ation be.we.n the.K-mode.Discoaste., Fasciculithus, e.icsonia, Sphe.olithus and Rhomboaste.) and r-mode.Biscutum, Chiasmolithus, Towe.us) nannofossil taxa coincide.t with a robust Rhomboaste.-Discoaste. asse.blage. and(3) a significant incre.se.in the.pe.ce.tage.of de.rital input along with an incre.se.in gypsum conte.t. In the.uppe. part of the.Qimuge. Formation Micrantholithus and Braarudosphae.a are.commonly found right up to the.top whe.e.most of the.nannofloras suffe. a sharp de.re.se. In the.ove.lying Gaijitage.Formation, calcare.us nannofossils disappe.r comple.e.y. The.e.e.e.ts indicate.that the.southwe.te.n Tarim Basin was a warm shallow contine.tal she.f during the.de.osition of the.Qimuge. Formation. From the.e.rly e.ce.e. the.e.vironme.t change. conspicuously. e.aporation incre.se. and se. le.e. fe.l, which le. to an acid *** climate.mode.continue. within the.younge.t unit studie., the.Gaijitage.Formation, characte.ize. by the.de.osition of thick e.aporate.. This inve.tigation compare. the.porce.ain/me.al inte.face. of de.ibe.ate.compre.sive.fracture. of ce.amic crowns be.we.n conve.tional pre.aration and application of the.Radio Fre.ue.cy Glow Discharge.Tre.tme.t (RFGDT) be.ore.e.ch bonding ste.. It e.aluate. RFGDT’s capacity to improve.we.ting e.fe.tive.e.s and minimize.porosity. Twe.ve.me.al ce.amic crowns we.e.fabricate. ide.tically. RFGDT was applie. to the.me.al substructure. of half the.spe.ime.s be.ore.the.ce.amic laye.ing proce.s. All spe.ime.s we.e.fracture. in the.same.manne. by an applie. compre.sive.force.to simulate.de.tal occlusive.failure. Fracture.surface. we.e.inspe.te. by light and scanning e.e.tron microscopy. Quantitative.analyse. of image. we.e.pe.forme. to ide.tify numbe.s, locations of cracks, porosity patte.ns, and othe. morphological corre.ate. of the.fracture.zone.. The.e.we.e.significantly fe.e. voids pe. millime.e. at the.inte.face. in the.RFGDT group than in the.non-RFGDT group (t = 2.377, df = 9, p = 0.021). The.e.was a significant diffe.e.ce.in the.numbe. of horizontal cracks pe. millime.e. be.we.n the.groups (t = 2.132, df = 7, p = 0.035), with more.cracks occurring in the.non-RFGDT group. RFGDT can improve.the.inte.rity of me.al ce.amic crowns by incre.sing the.substratum surface.e.e.gy, improving porce.ain we.ting and spre.ding and the.e.y diminishing the.numbe.s of inte.facial voids available.for initiation of fracture. Routine.application of RFGDT should re.ult in fe.e. cracks along me.al/ce.amic inte.face. in all re.torative.pre.arations.
