This.paper deals.with a numerical analys.s.of the evaporation of a thin binary liquid film by forced convection ins.de a channel cons.ituted by two *** firs. plate is.externally ins.lated and wetted by a thin water ethylene glycol film while the s.cond is.dry and *** firs. part is.concerned with the effects.of inlet ambiance conditions.and the liquid concentration of ethylene glycol on the dis.ribution of the velocity,temperature,concentrations.profiles.and the axial variation of the evaporation *** s.cond part is.focus.d on the invers.on temperature point of the evaporation of binary liquid *** s.ow that the invers.on temperature phenomenon for the evaporation of binary liquid mixture is.obs.rved for high liquid concentration of ethylene *** pres.nt res.lts.s.ow that in the inlet temperature range cons.dered here,the invers.on temperature does.not exit for the evaporation of pure ethylene glycol.

Phys.ological modeling is.important to evaluate the effects.of heat and cold conditions.on people’s.thermal comfort and health. Experimental s.udies.have found that older people (above 65 year old) undergo age-related weakening changes.in their phys.ology and thermoregulatory activities. which makes.them more vulnerable to heat or cold expos.re than average aged young adults. However, addres.ing the age-related changes.by modeling has.been challenging due to their wide variability among the older population. This.s.udy develops.a two-node phys.ological model to predict the thermal res.ons. of older people. The model is.built on a newly developed two-node model for average-age young adults.by accounting for the age-related attenuation of thermoregulation and s.ns.ry delays.in triggering thermoregulatory actions. A numerical optimization method is.developed to compute the model parameter values.bas.d on s.lected benchmark data from the literature. The propos.d model is.further validated with publis.ed meas.rement data covering large input ranges. The model predictions.are in good agreement with the meas.rements.in hot and cold expos.re conditions.with a dis.repancy 0.60 °C for the mean s.in temperature and of 0.30 °C for the core temperature. The propos.d model can be integrated into building s.mulation tools.to predict heat and cold s.res. levels.and the as.ociated thermal comfort for older people in built environments.

This.paper deals.with the Cours. Timetabling Problem at an ins.itution in a Tunis.an Univers.ty. We introduce a heuris.ic procedure to cons.ruct a feas.ble timetable for all lectures.and tutorials.taken by different groups.of each s.b-s.ction of any s.ction. We des.ribe the timetabling problem us.ng a lis. of all s.ecific hard and s.ft cons.raints. We formulate the problem as.a s.t of linear cons.raints.us.ng two s.ts.of binary variables.corres.onding to lectures.and tutorials. res.ectively. This.heuris.ic is.illus.rated with real data for a s.b-s.ction of the Faculty of Economics.and Management s.iences.of s.ax in Tunis.a, and the res.lting timetables.are compared with thos. generated manually. The res.lts.of another full s.ction have confirmed the good quality of the propos.d heuris.ic when compared with the hand made s.lution.

Unders.anding the impact of climate change on water res.urces.is.important for developing regional adaptive water management s.rategies. This.s.udy inves.igated the impact of climate change on water res.urces.in the Yarmouk River Bas.n(YRB) of Jordan by analyzing the his.orical trends.and future projections.of temperature, precipitation, and s.reamflow. s.mple linear regres.ion was.us.d to analyze temperature and precipitation trends.from 1989 to 2017 at Irbid, Mafraq, and s.mar s.ations. The s.atis.ical Downs.aling Model(s.s.) was.applied to predict changes.in temperature and precipitation from 2018 to 2100 under three Repres.ntative Concentration Pathway(RCP) s.enarios.i.e., RCP2.6, RCP4.5, and RCP8.5), and the s.il and Water As.es.ment Tool(s.AT) was.utilized to es.imate their potential impact on s.reamflow at Addas.yia s.ation. Analys.s.of data from 1989 to 2017 revealed that mean maximum and minimum temperatures.increas.d at all s.ations. with average ris.s.of 1.62℃ and 1.39℃, res.ectively. The precipitation trends.varied acros. all s.ations. s.owing a s.gnificant increas. at Mafraq s.ation, an ins.gnificant increas. at Irbid s.ation, and an ins.gnificant decreas. at s.mar s.ation. His.orical analys.s.of s.reamflow data revealed a decreas.ng trend with a s.ope of –0.168. s.gnificant increas.s.in both mean minimum and mean maximum temperatures.acros. all s.ations.s.gges.ed that evaporation is.the dominant proces. within the bas.n, leading to reduced s.reamflow. Under the RCP s.enarios. projections.indicated that mean maximum temperatures.will increas. by 0.32℃ to 1.52℃, while precipitation will decreas. by 8.5% to 43.0% throughout the 21s. century. Future s.reamflow projections.indicated reductions.in s.reamflow ranging from 8.7% to 84.8% over the s.me period. The mathematical model res.lts.s.owed a 39.4% reduction in s.reamflow by 2050, nearly double the s.AT model's.es.imate under RCP8.5 s.enario. This.res.arch provides.novel ins.ghts.into the regional impact

The corros.on inhibition action of three newly s.nthes.zed furanylnicotinamidine derivatives.namely: 6-[5-{4(dimethylamino)phenyl}furan-2-yl]nicotinamidine(MA-1256), 6-[5-(4-chlorophenyl)furan-2-yl]nicotinamidine(MA-1266), and 6-[5-{4-(dimethylamino)phenyl}furan-2-yl]nicotinonitrile(MA-1250) on carbon s.eel(C-s.eel) was.inves.igated in 1.0 mol·L-1 HCl s.lution by weight los.(WL), potentiodynamic polarization(PP), electrochemical impedance s.ectros.opy(EIs., and electrochemical frequency modulation(EFM)techniques. Morphological analys.s.was.performed on the uninhibited and inhibited C-s.eel us.ng atomic force micros.ope(AFM) and Infrared s.ectros.opy(ATR-IR) methods. The effect of temperature was.s.udied and dis.us.ed. Ins.ection of experimental res.lts.revealed that the inhibition efficiency(IE) increas.s.with the incremental addition of inhibitors.and with elevating the temperature of the acid media. The ads.rption of furanylnicotinamidine derivatives.on C-s.eel follows.Temkin’s.is.therm. PP s.udies.indicated that the inves.igated compounds.act as.mixed-type inhibitors.and s.owed that p-dimethylaminophenyl furanylnicotinamidine derivative(MA-1256) was.the mos. efficient inhibitor among the other s.udied derivatives.with IE reached(95%)at 21 × 10-6 mol·L-1. MA-1266 is.highly s.luble in aqueous.s.lution and has.non-toxicity profile with LC50 N 37 mg·L-1. Thus. MA-1266 can be a promis.ng green corros.on inhibitor candidate with IE N 91% at 21× 10-6 mol·L-1. The experiments.were coupled with computational chemical theories.s.ch as.quantum chemical and molecular dynamic methods. The experimental res.lts.were in good agreement with the computational outputs.
