Post-earthquake rescue missions are full of challenges due to the unstable structure of ruins and successive *** of the current rescue robots lack the ability to interact with environments,leading to low rescue *** multimodal electronic skin(e-skin)proposed not only reproduces the pressure,temperature,and humidity sensing capabilities of natural skin but also develops sensing functions beyond it—perceiving object proximity and NO2 *** multilayer stacked structure based on Ecoflex and organohydrogel endows the e-skin with mechanical properties similar to natural *** robots integrated with multimodal e-skin and artificial intelligence(AI)algorithms show strong environmental perception capabilities and can accurately distinguish objects and identify human limbs through grasping,laying the foundation for automated post-earthquake ***,the combination of e-skin and NO2 wireless alarm circuits allows robots to sense toxic gases in the environment in real time,thereby adopting appropriate measures to protect trapped people from the toxic *** e-skin powered by AI algorithms and hardware circuits exhibits powerful environmental perception and information processing capabilities,which,as an interface for interaction with the physical world,dramatically expands intelligent robots’application scenarios.

Introduction:Lysinuric protein intolerance(LPI)is a rare genetic disorder caused by mutations in the solute carrier family 7A member 7(SLC7A7)*** presentation:We presented two siblings with LPI,carrying novel mutations of c.776delT(p.L259Rfs*18)and c.155G>T(p.G52V)in *** younger sibling,preferring protein-rich foods,showed severe symptoms,including alveolar proteinosis,macrophage activation syndrome,severe diarrhea,and disturbance of consciousness with involuntary *** contrast,the elder sibling only had mild symptoms,likely due to aversion to protein-rich food since toddler ***:LPI is a congenital genetic metabolic disease with multisystem *** appropriate protein-restricted diet therapy as soon as possible could help prevent the progression of LPI.

Dear Editor,Polycomb group proteins,conserved epigenetic transcriptional repressors,are crucial for orchestrating diverse developmental gene expression programs(Schuettengruber et al.,2017).The polycomb repressive complex 2(PRC2)catalyzes H3 lysine-27 trimethylation(H3K27me3)to establish a delicate balance with H3K4me3,forming a bivalent chromatin state at target gene promoters and thereby poising them for subsequent transcription activation(Bernstein et al.,2006).

Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1 (TREM-1) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. As an amplifier of the inflammatory response, TREM-1 is mainly involved in the production of inflammatory mediators and the regulation of cell survival. TREM-1 has been studied in infectious diseases and more recently in non-infectious disorders. More and more studies have shown that TREM-1 plays an important pathogenic role in kidney diseases. There is evidence that TREM-1 can not only be used as a biomarker for diagnosis of disease but also as a potential therapeutic target to guide the development of novel therapeutic agents for kidney disease. This review summarized molecular biology of TREM-1 and its signaling pathways as well as immune response in the progress of acute kidney injury, renal fibrosis, diabetic nephropathy, immune nephropathy, and renal cell carcinoma.

Simultaneous stresses of salinity and drought often coincide during rice-growing seasons in saline lands,primarily due to insufficient water resources and inadequate irrigation ***,combined salinity-drought stress poses a major threat to rice *** this study,two salinity levels(NS,non-salinity;HS,high salinity)along with three drought treatments(CC,control condition;DJ,drought stress imposed at jointing;DH,drought stress imposed at heading)were performed to investigate their combined influences on leaf photosynthetic characteristics,biomass accumulation,and rice yield ***,drought,and their combination led to a shortened growth period from heading to maturity,resulting in a reduced overall growth *** yield was reduced under both salinity and drought stress,with a more substantial reduction under the combined salinity-drought *** combined stress imposed at heading caused greater yield losses in rice compared with the stress imposed at ***,the combined salinity-drought stress induced greater decreases in shoot biomass accumulation from heading to maturity,as well as in shoot biomass and nonstructural carbohydrate(NSC)content in the stem at heading and ***,it increased the harvest index and NSC remobilization *** and drought reduced the leaf area index and SPAD value of flag leaves and weakened the leaf photosynthetic characteristics as indicated by lower photosynthetic rates,transpiration rates,and stomatal *** reductions were more pronounced under the combined ***,drought,and especially their combination,decreased the activities of ascorbate peroxidase,catalase,and superoxide dismutase,while increasing the contents of malondialdehyde,hydrogen peroxide,and superoxide *** results indicated a more significant yield loss in rice when subjected to combined salinity-drought *** individual and combined stresses of salinity and dro

A study was conducted to analyze the deformation mechanism of strongly weathered quartz schist in the Daliangshan Tunnel,located in the western Transverse Mountain area.A large deformation problem was experienced during the tunnel *** mitigate this problem,a support system was designed incorporating negative Poisson ratio(NPR)anchor cables with negative Poisson ratio *** model experiments,field experiments,and numerical simulation experiments were conducted to investigate the compensation mechanical behavior of NPR anchor *** large deformations of soft rocks in the Daliangshan Tunnel are caused by a high ground stress,a high degree of joint fracture development,and a high degree of surrounding rock fragmentation.A compensation mechanics support system combining long and short NPR anchor cables was suggested to provide sufficient counter-support force(approximately 350 kN)for the surrounding rock inside the *** the NPR anchor cable support system with the original support system used in the Daliangshan tunnel showed that an NPR anchor cable support system,combining cables of 6.3 m and 10.3 m in length,effectively prevented convergence of surrounding rock deformation,and the integrated settlement convergence value remained below 300 *** study provides an effective scientific basis for resolving large deformation problems in deeply buried soft rocks in western transverse mountain areas.

The current study aimed to assess the effect of timosaponin AⅢ(T-AⅢ)on drug-metabolizing enzymes during anticancer *** in vivo experiments were conducted on nude and ICR *** a 24-day administration of T-AⅢ,the nude mice exhibited an induction of CYP2B10,MDR1,and CYP3A11 expression in the liver *** the ICR mice,the expression levels of CYP2B10 and MDR1 increased after a three-day T-AⅢ *** in vitro assessments with HepG2 cells revealed that T-AⅢ induced the expression of CYP2B6,MDR1,and CYP3A4,along with constitutive androstane receptor(CAR)*** with CAR siRNA reversed the T-AⅢ-induced increases in CYP2B6 and CYP3A4 ***,other CAR target genes also showed a significant increase in the *** up-regulation of murine CAR was observed in the liver tissues of both nude and ICR *** findings demonstrated that T-AⅢ activated CAR by inhibiting ERK1/2 phosphorylation,with this effect being partially reversed by the ERK activator *** of the ERK1/2 signaling pathway was also observed in ***,T-AⅢ inhibited the phosphorylation of EGFR at Tyr1173 and Tyr845,and suppressed EGF-induced phosphorylation of EGFR,ERK,and *** the nude mice,T-AⅢ also inhibited EGFR *** results collectively indicate that T-AⅢ is a novel CAR activator through inhibition of the EGFR pathway.

Optimal replication strategy for mitigating burst traffic in information-centric satellite networks: a focus on remote sensing image transmission

Information-centric satellite networks play a crucial role in remote sensing applications,particularly in the transmission of remote sensing ***,the occurrence of burst traffic poses significant challenges in meeting the increased bandwidth *** content delivery networks are ill-equipped to handle such bursts due to their pre-deployed *** this paper,we propose an optimal replication strategy for mitigating burst traffic in information-centric satellite networks,specifically focusing on the transmission of remote sensing *** strategy involves selecting the most optimal replication delivery satellite node when multiple users subscribe to the same remote sensing content within a short time,effectively reducing network transmission data and preventing throughput degradation caused by burst traffic *** formulate the content delivery process as a multi-objective optimization problem and apply Markov decision processes to determine the optimal value for burst traffic *** address these challenges,we leverage federated reinforcement learning ***,we use bloom filters with subdivision and data identification methods to enable rapid retrieval and encoding of remote sensing *** software-based simulations using a low Earth orbit satellite constellation,we validate the effectiveness of our proposed strategy,achieving a significant 17%reduction in the average delivery *** paper offers valuable insights into efficient content delivery in satellite networks,specifically targeting the transmission of remote sensing images,and presents a promising approach to mitigate burst traffic challenges in information-centric environments.

Hetero-phase zirconia encapsulated with Au nanoparticles for boosting electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction

Electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is considered as an attractive approach for ammonia synthesis under mild conditions.A bottleneck of NRR is the exploration of efficient catalysts for accelerating reaction kinetics,among which heterogeneous structures possessing distinct atomic arrangement could modify electronic structure,and therefore altering their NRR ***,we report a facile strategy for fabricating hetero-phase metal oxides derived from metal organic framework that are further integrated with Au nanoparticles as NRR *** phase composition of zirconia can be easily adjusted by simply changing the reaction temperature,where the monoclinic and tetragonal phases with the roughly close proportions have a distinct interface,leading to a strong interaction between Au and ZrO_(2).The enhanced interaction renders Au to be more electropositive and facilitates stronger binding to N_(2).As a result,a remarkable ammonia yield of 22.32μg h^(-1)mg_(cat.)^(-1) and a Faradaic efficiency of 31.92%can be achieved at low *** work is expected to pave the way for the design of heterogeneous structures and the exploration of hetero-phase nanostructures in boosting the electrocatalytic NRR.
