Association of Serum Folate and Vitamin B_(12) Concentrations with Obesity in Chinese Children and Adolescents

Objective This study aimed to evaluate the associations of serum folate and/or vitamin B12 concentrations with obesity among Chinese children and *** A cross-sectional study was conducted including 3,079 Chinese children and adolescents,aged 6 to 17 years,from Jiangsu,*** indices,such as,children's body mass index(BMI),BMI z-scores,waist circumference,and waist-to-height ratio were *** linear regression and generalized additive models were used to investigate the associations of serum folate and vitamin B12 levels with anthropometric indices and odds of *** We observed that serum vitamin B12 concentrations were inversely associated with all anthropometric indices and the odds of general obesity[odds ratio(OR)=0.68;95%confidence interval(CI)=0.59,0.78]and abdominal obesity(OR=0.68;95%CI=0.60,0.77).When compared to participants with both serum vitamin levels in the two middle quartiles,those with both serum folate and vitamin B12 levels in the highest quartile were less prone to general(OR=0.31,95%CI=0.19,0.50)or abdominal obesity(OR=0.46,95%CI=0.31,0.67).Conversely,participants with vitamin B12 levels in the lowest quartile alongside folate levels in the highest quartile had higher odds of abdominal obesity(OR=2.06,95%CI=1.09,3.91).Conclusion Higher serum vitamin B12 concentrations,but not serum folate concentrations,were associated with lower odds of childhood *** and adolescents with high levels of vitamin B12 and folate were less likely to be obese.

Enhanced photothermal dehydration of methanol over W_(18)O_(49)/Au/SAPO-34 catalysts with broadened light absorption

Methanol-to-olefins(MTO)process is one of the most critical pathways to produce low carbon ***,the reaction is driven by thermal catalysis,which inevitably needs to consume large amounts of fossil *** a new technique to substitute for the fuel burning is urgent for MTO process to improve the industry prospects and ***,we report a novel W_(18)O_(49)/Au/SAPO-34(W/Au/S),a multifunctional photothermal catalyst for the MTO reaction.A high methanol conversion was achieved under xenonum(Xe)lamp irradiation,yielding methyl ether(ME)and ethylene as the main *** optimized W/Au/S catalysts showed ethylene yield as high as 250μmol in 60 min,which was 2.5 times higher than that of Au/*** physiochemical characterization revealed that the SAPO-34 molecular sieves were surrounded by Au and W_(18)O_(49)nanoparticles,which exhibited a strong localized surface plasmon resonance excitation around 540 nm and light absorption beyond 500 *** multifunctional catalysts showed a strong photothermal effect,arising from the broadened light absorption of Au and W_(18)O_(49)nanoparticles,leading to a temperature as high as 250℃on the surface of the *** study showed that the superior ethylene selectivity of W/Au/S catalysts was attributed to the moderating acidic sites of W_(18)O_(49)for methanol dehydration to *** research may provide new insight for designing heterostructures to improve photo-to-chemical conversion performance and is expected to accelerate progress toward the excellent multifunctional photothermal catalysts with broad light absorption for methanol activation and C-C bond formation.

Effect of interrupted aging on mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of 7A75 aluminum alloy

The effects of interrupted aging on mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of 7A75 aluminum alloy extruded bar were investigated through various analyses,including electrical conductivity,mechanical properties,local corrosion properties,and slow strain rate tensile stress corrosion *** characterization techniques such as metallographic microscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)were also *** results indicate that the tensile strength of the alloy produced by T6I6 aging is similar to that produced by T6I4 aging,and it even exceeds 700 ***,the yield strength increases by 52.7 MPa,reaching 654.8 MPa after T6I6 aging *** maximum depths of intergranular corrosion(IGC)and exfoliation corrosion(EXCO)decrease from 116.3 and 468.5μm to 89.5 and 324.3μm,*** stress corrosion factor also decreases from 2.1%to 1.6%.These findings suggest that the alloy treated with T6I6 aging exhibits both high strength and excellent stress corrosion cracking ***,when the alloy is treated with T6I4,T6I6 and T6I7 aging,the sizes of grain boundary precipitates(GBPs)are found to be 5.2,18.4,and 32.8 nm,*** sizes of matrix precipitates are 4.8,5.7 and 15.7 nm,*** atomic fractions of Zn in GBPs are 9.92 at.%,8.23 at.%and 6.87 at.%,respectively,while the atomic fractions of Mg are 12.66 at.%,8.43 at.%and 7.00 at.%,***,the atomic fractions of Cu are 1.83 at.%,2.47 at.%and 3.41 at.%,respectively.

得益于量子信息理论的发展,保真度、纠缠熵等概念被引入到量子相变的研究中,不仅能用来标识新奇的物质相,还能用来探测量子相变的临界点以及描绘其临界行为.从度量空间的角度来看,这些物理量都可以被理解为度量空间中两个函数的距离.本文利用波函数和实空间中密度分布函数的距离,研究了以广义Aubry-André-Harper模型为代表的准周期系统,发现该方法不仅能标识拓展相、临界相和局域相,还能找到准确的相变点并计算出临界指数.此外,不仅将度量空间方法推广到波包扩散动力学研究,还提出了一种新的量,即态密度分布函数的距离,发现上述定义的两种物理量都能标识不同的物质相及相变点.通过定义某个函数在不同参数下的距离,不仅为标识已知系统相变点提供了研究工具,还为探测未知系统的不同物质相、相变点及其临界行为提供了一种直观的方法.
