The Lp bounds for the parametric Marcinkiewicz integrals associated to compound mapq pings, which contain many classical surfaces as model examples, are given, where the kernels of our operators are rather rough on the unit sphere as well as in the radial direction. These results substan- tially improve and extend some known results.

The understanding of the structural requirements and the intermolecular-interaction mechanism are important for discovering potent angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE)inhibitory *** this study,we modifi ed an egg-white derived peptide,LAPYK,using the amino acids with different properties to produce the LAPYK-modified *** ACE inhibitory activities of the modified peptides were determined to explore the structural requirements of ACE inhibitory peptides(ACEIPs).Molecular simulation and isothermal titration calorimetry analysis were used to investigate interactions between the peptides and *** found that hydrophobicity and the amino acids with ring structures were benefi cial for the ACE inhibitory activities of the *** results of the molecular mechanics poisson boltzmann surface area(MMPBSA)binding free energy calculations indicated that the polar solvation free energy(ΔG_(polar))of the charged peptides(LAPYK,LAPYE)were unfavorable for binding to *** the other hand,the results of isothermal titration calorimetry analyses suggested that the enthalpy-driven ACE-peptide interactions were more favorable than the entropy-driven ACE-peptide interaction counterparts.

Global warming has altered the thermodynamic and dynamic environments of climate systems,affecting the biogeochemical processes between the geosphere and atmosphere,which has significant impacts on precipitation extremes and the terrestrial carbon budget of *** studies have reported a hook structure for precipitation extreme-temperature relationships but have rarely examined the underlying physical *** studies have also failed to quantify the impact of precipitation on ecosystem productivity,hindering the assessment of future extreme climatic hazards and potential ecosystem *** reveal the thermodynamic driving mechanisms for the formation of global precipitation extremes and ecohydrological effects,this study utilizes over ten multisource datasets(i.e.,satellite,reanalysis,climate model,land surface model,machine learning reconstruction,and flux tower measurements).We first assess the response of water-heat-carbon flux to precipitation extremes and explain the underlying physical mechanisms behind the hook structures in terms of atmospheric thermodynamics and *** on outputs from five global climate models(GCMs)under ISIMIP3b,we project future changes in the hook structures as well as their impacts on precipitation ***,we discuss the impact of precipitation on the terrestrial carbon budget by using outputs from the CLM4.5 *** results show that precipitation extremes are usually accompanied by strong exchanges of water and heat and demonstrate a nonlinear relationship between precipitation and ecosystem *** intensity(duration)of extreme precipitation is intensifying(decreasing)over most areas of the globe,whereas three-dimensional precipitation events are becoming more *** dynamics play a key role in shaping the hook *** structure is not stable;it shifts under climate change and is projected to result in a 10–40%intensification in precipitation by the end of

The optimal protocol for neuromodulation by transcranial direct current stimulation(tDCS)remains *** the rotarod paradigm,we found that mouse motor learning was enhanced by anodal tDCS(3.2 mA/cm^(2))during but not before or after the performance of a ***-task experiments showed that motor learning enhancement was specific to the task accompanied by anodal *** using a mouse model of stroke induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion showed that concurrent anodal tDCS restored motor learning capability in a task-specific *** in vivo Ca^(2+)imaging further showed that anodal tDCS elevated and cathodal tDCS suppressed neuronal activity in the primary motor cortex(M1).Anodal tDCS specifically promoted the activity of task-related M1 neurons during task performance,suggesting that elevated Hebbian synaptic potentiation in task-activated circuits accounts for the motor learning ***,application of tDCS concurrent with the targeted behavioral dysfunction could be an effective approach to treating brain disorders.

This study takes a fractured rock mass in the Datengxia Hydropower Station,China as an example to analyze the size effects and determine the representative elementary sizes.A novel method considering geometric parameter distributions is proposed in this *** proposed method can quickly and simply determine the size effects and representative elementary ***,geometric parameter distributions,including fracture frequency,size and orientation,are generated on the basis of the Bernoulli trial and Monte Carlo *** distributions are assessed using the coefficient of variation(CV),and the acceptable variations for CV(5%,10%and 20%)are used to determine representative elementary ***,the representative element of rock masses is the representative elementary volume(REV).The present study extends the representative element to other dimensions,*** elementary length(REL)and representative elementary area(REA)for one and two dimensions,*** and REA are useful in studying the size effects of one-(1D)and twodimensional(2D)characteristics of rock *** relationships among multi-dimensional representative elementary sizes are *** representative elementary sizes reduce with the increase in the dimensions,and REA and REV can be deduced by ***,the proposed method can quickly and simply determine REL and further estimate REA and REV,which considerably improves the efficiency of rock mass analysis.
