The microstructure and anti-corrosion behavior of Mg–Mn alloys by magnesium scrap have been investigated in this *** results show that the size of the Fe-rich particles in magnesium scrap decreases but the quantity increases with the Mn *** the presence of Mn-containing Fe-rich particles with unique symbiotic structure can eff ectively weaken the micro-galvanic corrosion,the presence of more free Fe(Fe-rich particles)does not necessarily lead to severe corrosion of the *** corrosion susceptibility of Mg–Mn–Fe alloy primarily depends on the solubility of iron in the Mg matrix,while it can be significantly reduced by suitable Mn ***,the tolerance limit of the Fe impurity can be expressed as Femax=0.0083 Mn(relative to the iron solubility).Only when the Fe/Mn ratio is below 0.0083 can the alloy have excellent corrosion resistance,with the corrosion rate changing in the scope of 0.38±0.09 to 0.54±0.15 mg/cm^(2) day and icorr from 3 to 9×10^(–4) A/cm^(2).

The Fe reduction,microstructure evolution and corrosion susceptibility of Mg−Mn alloys made from magnesium scrap refining with Mn addition were *** results show that significant Fe content change occurs during near-solid-melt treatment(NSMT)process even in the absence of Mn,because of the high saturation of Fe in the ***,in the NSMT process,even a small amount of Mn addition can lead to a sharp deposition of Mn *** NSMT process can increase the growth rate of the Fe-rich particles,and then accelerate their sinking ***,the addition of Mn hinders the coarsening process of Fe-rich ***,the corrosion susceptibility of the alloys is mainly affected by the solubility of Fe,which can be significantly reduced by Mn ***,the presence of more Fe-rich particles does not necessarily increase the corrosion susceptibility of the ***,in the refining process of Mg−Mn alloys made from magnesium scrap,on the basis of NSMT process and adding an appropriate Mn content(about 0.5 wt.%),the purity of the melt can be improved,thereby obtaining an alloy with excellent corrosion resistance.

With its commercialization, the second-generation(2G) high temperature superconducting(HTS) RE–Ba–Cu–O(REBCO, RE is rare earth) tape is extensively applied to the superconducting magnets in the high magnetic fields. However,unlike low temperature superconducting(LTS) magnets, the HTS magnet cannot operate in the persistent current mode(PCM) due to the immature superconducting soldering technique. In this paper, an exciting method for two HTS sub-loops,so-called charging and load loops, is proposed by flux pump consisting of exciting coil and controllable thermal *** HTS sub-loops are made of an REBCO tape with two slits. An exciting coil with iron core is located in one sub-loop and is supplied with a triangular waveform current so that magnetic field is generated in another sub-loop. The influence of magnetic flux on induced current in load loop is presented and verified in experiment at 77 K. The relationship between the induced magnetic flux density and the current on the sub-loops having been calibrated, magnetic flux density, and induced current are obtained. The results show that the HTS sub-loops can be excited by a coil with thermal switch and the induced current increases with magnetic flux of exciting coil increasing, which is promising for persistent current operation mode of HTS magnets.

BACKGROUND Fractional flow reserve(FFR)is the invasive gold standard for evaluating coronary arterial ***,there have been a few non-invasive methods such as computational fluid dynamics FFR(CFD-FFR)with coronary CT angiography(CCTA)images that can perform FFR *** study aims to develop a new method based on the principle of static first-pass of CT perfusion imaging technique(SF-FFR)and evaluate the efficacy in direct comparisons between CFD-FFR and the invasive *** A total of 91 patients(105 coronary artery vessels)who were admitted from January 2015 to March 2019 were enrolled in this study,*** patients underwent CCTA and invasive FFR.64 patients(75 coronary artery vessels)were successfully *** correlation and diagnostic performance of SF-FFR method on per-vessel basis were analyzed,using invasive FFR as the gold *** a comparison,we also evaluated the correlation and diagnostic performance of *** The SF-FFR showed a good Pearson correlation(r=0.70,P<0.001)and intra-class correlation(r=0.67,P<0.001)with the gold *** Bland-Altman analysis showed that the average difference between the SF-FFR and invasive FFR was 0.03(0.11–0.16);between CFD-FFR and invasive FFR was 0.04(-0.10–0.19).Diagnostic accuracy and area under the ROC curve on a per-vessel level were 0.89,0.94 for SF-FFR,and 0.87,0.89 for CFD-FFR,*** SF-FFR calculation time was about 2.5 s per case while CFD calculation was about 2 min on an Nvidia Tesla V100 graphic *** The SF-FFR method is feasible and shows high correlation compared to the gold *** method could simplify the calculation procedure and save time compared to the CFD method.

Crohn's disease(CD) is an inflammatory bowel disease whose pathogenesis remains *** this paper,we reviewed the basic research of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating CD by regulating intestinal intrinsic immunity,and summarized in more detail that acupuncture and moxibustion can regulate the intestinal intrinsic immune system through the intestinal epithelial cell barrier,monocytes/macrophages,natural killer cells(NK cells),dendritic cells(DC),and ***,acupuncture and moxibustion can reduce the expression of inflammatory factors in the intestinal mucosa,alleviate intestinal fibrosis to repair the mechanical barrier of the intestinal mucosa,inhibit the expression of molecules of the MAPK,TLR/NF-κB signaling pathway and inflammatory factors,block the NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity pathway,and prevent the overactivation of neutrophils to control inflammatory responses,repairing the damaged intestinal tract and alleviating CD *** paper illustrated the characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion for CD,which involves multi targets and pathways,aiming to provide guidance for the clinical application and basic research of acupuncture and moxibustion for *** also pointed out the current drawbacks of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy,and finally proposing the shortcomings of the current research,including the insufficient number of studies on acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of CD through the modulation of NK cells and neutrophils,the lack of standardization in acupuncture point selection,duration and treatment course,and the geographical limitations of the research locations for acupuncture and moxibustion in treating CD.

Rheological Behaviors of Polymers with Nanoparticles Tethered at Each End

The polymer with nanoparticles tethered at each end is a unique model for unraveling the effect of chain ends on the polymer dynamics. We investigated the rheological behavior of this kind of polymer by using nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulation. The effect of polymer lengths and nanoparticle radii on the complex moduli and viscosity was examined. The dependence of complex moduli on the frequency becomes less pronounced as the polymer is short or the nanoparticle is large. The shear thinning behavior was revealed for these systems, and the scaling exponent of complex viscosity with respect to the frequency was found to change from-1/2 to-3/4 as the polymer shortens or the nanoparticle enlarges. The rheological behavior was further explained by analyzing the mean square distance of nanoparticles. The simulation results were compared with the existing experimental finding, showing an agreement. The work provides information for understanding the chain end effect on polymer rheology.

RhoC is a member of the Ras-homologous family of genes which are implicated in tumorigenesis and tumor progression. Up-regulation of RhoC is associated with tumor progression in ovarian carcinoma and RhoC is significantly correlated with the invasive capability of ovarian cancer cell lines in vitro, We developed a system that blocks RhoC in the human ovarian cancer SKOV3 cells using specific MicroRNA（miRNA） interference. By transfecting SKOV3 cells with the plasmid vector to express specific MiRNA that targets human RhoC, we were able to establish a stable clone in which RhoC expression was significantly downregulated. This resulted in the decreased invasive potential of SKOV3 cells as well as increased chemosensitivity to paclitaxel. RhoC involves in invasion and chemosensitivity of SKOV3, indicating that RhoC may be a promising therapeutic target for ovarian cancer.
