Is traumatic meniscal lesion associated with acute fracture morphology changes of tibia plateau? A series of arthroscopic analysis of 67 patients

BACKGRouND Computed tomography(CT)has become a routine preoperative examination for tibial plateau fractures(TPFs).Assessing the location of the fragment and intercondylar eminence fracture can provide clinicians with valuable information;however,the evaluation of traumatic meniscal lesion(TML)and arthroscopic management are *** To predict TML by three-dimensional skeletal anatomy changes in unilateral TPF and bilateral TPF on preoperative thin layer *** Acute fracture of tibial plateau patients undergoing arthroscopic surgery between December 2017 and December 2019 were included in this retrospective *** type,zone,and location of TMLs were diagnosed based on the operation records and/or arthroscopic *** of three-dimensional fracture morphology included the following:Frontal fragment width of plateau,sagittal fragment subsiding distance(FSD),sagittal fracture line distance,sagittal posterior tibial slope,and transversal area ratio of fragment area)on preoperative CT three-dimensional *** correlation of TML with skeletal values was calculated according to unicondylar TPFs and bicondylar *** A total of 67 patients were enrolled in this study,among which 30 patients had TMLs,lateral/medial(23/7).FSD was a particularly positive factor to predict TML,with odds ratio of 2.31(1.26-5.63).On sagittal view of CT,FSD degree of 8 mm and posterior tibial slope exceeding 11.74°implied enhanced risk of TML in bicondylar *** coronal view,once fragment width of plateau surpassed 3 cm,incidence of TML reached 100%.On transverse view,area ratio of fragment as enhanced risk of 5.5%and FSD>4.3 mm for predicting TML were observed in unicondylar *** TML can be predicted by different parameters on preoperative CT views according to unicondylar fractures and bicondylar TPFs.

目的总结登革热的临床特征和诊断体会,提高登革热的临床诊治技能。方法回顾性分析广州医科大学附属第一医院2014年6月—2016年10月诊治的650例登革热患者的临床资料,分析其中238例于发病第1、3、5天行血常规检查患者的白细胞计数、血小板计数变化规律。结果650例登革热患者的主要临床表现为发热(100.0%,650例)、乏力(96.2%,625例)、肌痛(89.1%,579例)、恶心(86.2%,560例)、畏寒(74.2%,482例)、皮疹(70.0%,392例)、腹泻(49.5%,322例)、呕吐(43.2%,281例)等。丙氨酸氨基转移酶(ALT)升高(49.4%,321例),天冬氨酸氨基转移酶(AST)升高(40.4%,263例),肌酸激酶(CK)升高(48.9%,318例),乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)升高(34.8%,226例),尿蛋白阳性(34.0%,221例)。238例患者发病第1、3、5天外周血白细胞计数减少者所占比例分别为4.2%(10例)、83.2%(198例)、92.9%(221例);血小板计数减少者所占比例分别为3.4%(8例)、15.1%(36例)、67.6%(161例)。结论近3年广州登革热患者临床表现以典型登革热症状为主,大部分患者白细胞计数减少开始出现于发病第3天,血小板计数减少开始出现于发病第5天;部分患者有肝、肾和肌肉损害。

Background:Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a liver disorder characterized by the accumulation and degeneration of fat in the liver cells,a condition that may further deteriorate and lead to cirrhosis and liver *** studies showed that metabolic dysfunction can promote NAFLD *** Zhugan Decoction(LGZGD)has therapeutic effects on *** mechanism of LGZGD still remains *** study was to examine the impact of LGZGD on the metabolic processes involved in the development of ***:A mice model of NAFLD was treated with *** therapeutic potential of LGZGD was evaluated by assessing the activity of transaminases,lipids levels of blood,and pathological changes in the liver of the mice model of ***,this study also evaluated the influence of LGZGD on liver inflammation and oxidative ***:The results of untargeted metabolomics analysis showed that LGZGD reduced the disordered lipid metabolism in NAFLD *** improved the oxidative stress and also reduced the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the *** metabolomics analysis of liver samples revealed that LGZGD treatment improved metabolic disorders,including alanine,aspartate,glutamate,glycerophospholipid metabolism,and citrate *** RT-qPCR and Western blot results showed that LGZGD could regulate the expression of key enzymes in the metabolic pathway of the citrate cycle,including ATP-citrate lyase(ACLY),alanine-glyoxylate aminotransferase-2(AGXT2),phosphatidylethanolamine N-methyltransferase(PEMT),and succinate dehydrogenase(SDH).Conclusion:We found that LGZGD can treat NAFLD by reducing inflammatory responses,inhibiting oxidative stress,regulating alanine,aspartate,glutamate,and glycerophospholipid metabolism,and citrate cycle pathways.

As a class of functional crystalline porous materials, metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) gained rapid development in the past three decades and a large number of MOFs with ordered structures, high surface areas, and functionalized channels have been investigated. MOFs and MOF-derived/composite materials show great potential in many application fields. In this review, we discussed the main applications of MOFs and MOF-derived/composite materials in small molecule storage, separation, luminescence, sensing, multitype catalysis, and energy storage. In addition, challenges and problems in the future research of MOFsrelated fields are also discussed.

Low profile cavity-embedded ultra-wideband UHF array antenna with end-fire beams

A low-profile,vertically polarized,ultra-wideband array antenna with end-fire beams operating in an ultra-high frequency(UHF)band is developed in this *** array antenna consists of 1×16 log-periodic top-hat loaded monopole antenna arrays and is feasible to embed into a shallow cavity to further reduce the array *** is introduced in the proposed antenna element to reduce profile height and the rectangular top hats are carefully designed to minimize the transverse *** results show that when the antenna array operates in a frequency range of 300 MHz-900 MHz,the end-fire radiation pattern achieves±45°scanning range in the horizontal *** prototypes of the proposed end-fire antenna element and a uniformly spaced linear array(1×2)are fabricated and *** end-fire antenna array should be suitable for airborne applications where low-profile and conformal scanning phased antenna arrays with end-fire radiations are *** design is attractive for airborne platform applications that are used to search,discover,identify,and scout the aerial target with vertically polarized beams.

Semivolatile organic compounds, organochlorine pesticides and heavy metals in sediments and risk assessment in Huaihe River of China

The concentrations of semivolatile organic compounds, organochlorine pesticides and heavy metals in sediments from Jiangsu reach of Huaihe River, China, were presented. The organic compounds were extracted by acetone： n-hexane using a Soxhlet apparatus and concentrations were performed using HP6890 gas chromatography coupled by FID and ECD detector. The total contents of 8 heavy metals by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry or cold-vapor/atomic absorption spectrometry were developed. 30 semivolatile organic compounds were detected, including substituted benzenes, phenols, phthalates and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, from 0.01 to 3.01 mg/kg. 16 organochlorine pesticides were almost detected and from 0.010 to 2.339 μg/kg. Concentrations of major metals were 50 mg/kg or less, mean level of mercury was only 0.055 mg/kg. Compared to sediment quality guidelines （SQGs）, concentrations of some semivolatilc organic compounds were high enough to cause possible toxic effects to living resources. The organochlorine pesticides presented relatively low, lower than threshold effect concentrations （TECs）, harmful effects on sediment-dwelling organisms were not expected. Chromium posed probable toxic effects to the living resources, other heavy metals had no threat temporarily according to SQGs.

Design of(GO/TiO2)N one-dimensional photonic crystal photocatalysts with improved photocatalytic activity for tetracycline degradation

(GO/TiO2)N(GO represents graphene oxide,and N represents the period number of alternate superposition of two dielectrics)onedimensional photonic crystal with different lattice constants was prepared via the sol–gel technique,and its transmission characteristics for photocatalysis were *** results show that the lattice constant,filling ratio,number of periodic layers,and incident angle had effects on the band *** the lattice constant,filling ratio,number of periodic layers,and incident angle were set to 125 nm,0.45,21,and 0°,respectively,a gap width of 53 nm appeared at the central wavelength(322 nm).The absorption peak of the photocatalyst at 357 nm overlapped the blue edge of the photonic band gap.A slow photon effect region above 96%reflectivity *** degradation rate of tetracycline in(GO/TiO2)N photonic crystal was enhanced to 64%within 60 ***,the degradation efficiency of(GO/TiO2)N one-dimensional photonic crystal was effectively improved compared with those of the GO/TiO2 composite film and GO/TiO2 powder.
