Both of temperature（in water） and composition（in the water/methanol mixed solvent） can induce the coil-toglobule transition of poly（N-isopropylacrylamide）（PNIPAM）. The atomic force microscope（AFM） based single molecule force spectroscopy（SMFS） has been exploited to investigate the interactions between the polymer chain and solvent at the single-molecule level. It is found that the single-chain mechanics of PNIPAM show a remarkable dependence on the two external stimuli. A confusing experimental result is that all the force-extension（F-E） curves of unfolding an individual PNIPAM globule present a feature of elastic（monotonically increasing force） stretching but not plateau（constant force） stretching predicted by theory. In this article, we clarify that the presence of the interior solvent molecules in the single-chain globule is the origin of the discrepancy between the F-E curves obtained from theory and experiment. Although both of the external stimuli do tend to lower the solvent quality for PNIPAM, water and the water/methanol mixed solvent will never be the strongly poor solvent for PNIPAM, even at the worst condition.

SMS4 is released by the Chinese government as part of the WAPI standard for the wireless *** ICICS 2007 and CRYPTO 2015, Lu and Sun et al. constructed some 12-round impossible differentials and12-round zero correlation linear hulls, respectively. In this paper, it is proved that the distinguishers constructed by Lu and Sun et al. are independent with the details of the non-linear layers though they concentrated on the specific S-boxes. This indicates that for the structure deduced by SMS4, there always exist 12-round impossible differentials and 12-round zero correlation linear hulls.

In this paper,a multiphase moving particle semi-implicit(MPS)method is developed by introduction of various multiphase models into the original MPS method for single-phase flows,and is then applied to the numerical simulations of two-layer-liquid and three-layer-liquid sloshing in a 2-D rectangular tank under different external *** validate the accuracy of the present multiphase MPS method,the qualitative and quantitative results,including wave profiles,interface elevations and impact pressures,are compared with experimental data and other numerical results,which show a good *** particular,the evolutions of free surface and phase interfaces are compared and an obvious discrepancy is found,indicating that the phase interfaces may suffer from complex deformations while the free surface keeps relatively ***,the different modes of phase interface are observed under different excitation ***,the violent sloshing of a three-layer-liquid system is simulated and the phenomenon of internal wave breaking is well captured,which mainly benefitted from the Lagrangian basis of MPS method and its advantage in multiphase flows with complex ***,the three-layer-liquid sloshing with a vertical baffle are simulated to investigate the suppressing effect of baffle on multi-layer-liquid sloshing.

In order to effectively monitor the concealed fault activation process in excavation activities, based on the actual condition of a working face containing faults with high outburst danger in Xin Zhuangzi mine in Huainan, China, we carried out all-side tracking and monitoring on the fault activation process and development trend in excavation activities by establishing a microseismic monitoring system. The results show that excavation activities have a rather great influence on the fault activation. With the working face approaching the fault, the fault activation builds up and the outburst danger increases; when the excavation activities finishes, the fault activation tends to be stable. The number of microseismic events are corresponding to the intensity of fault activation, and the distribution rules of microseismic events can effectively determine the fault occurrence in the mine. Microseismic monitoring technique is accurate in terms of detecting geologic tectonic activities, such as fault activations lying ahead during excavation activities. By utilizing this technique, we can determine outburst danger in excavation activities in time and accordingly take effective countermeasures to prevent and reduce the occurrence of outburst accidents.

On July 27, 2022, a high-precision system for measuring the magnetic field based on a coherent population trapping magnetometer（referred to as the CPT system） was launched onboard the Space Advanced Technology demonstration satellite（SATech-01） by a ZK-1A rocket. The payload comprises a scalar coherent population trapping magnetometer（CPTM）, triaxial anisotropic magnetoresistance magnetometer（AMRM）, and nano star tracker mounted on a non-magnetic telescopic tubular mast. This configuration enables synchronized measurement of scalar and vector geomagnetic fields, as well as the attitude,making the payload with its compact sensors suitable for applications on miniature satellite platforms. On November 7, 2022,the novel telescopic tubular mast was deployed in orbit, extending to a length of 5.28 m. The CPTM, an absolute scalar magnetometer with an omnidirectional sensor, is the first China-developed quantum/atomic magnetometer successfully operating in space. In orbit, the CPTM has sensitivity of ～10 pT/Hz1/2and can automatically operate under complex magnetic field variations. The difference between the scalar fields obtained using the CPTM and chaoS model has a mean deviation of–3.73 n T and a standard deviation of 26.11 nT（1σ）, without on-orbit calibration or correction. The miniaturized AMRM has a sensitivity of ～0.3 n T/Hz1/2and maintains stable and reliable operation in orbit. The low-power and miniaturized nano star tracker has a measurement uncertainty of 14.23″（1σ） in orbit. The mission has realized the on-orbit technical verification of the integrated and synchronized detection of the vector magnetic field and attitude and fully validated the system's performance,automation level, and reliability.

Background:The survival benefit of postoperative adjuvant transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(PA-TACE)remained *** aimed to investigate the prognosis effect of PA-TACE on the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC)early stage multinodular hepatocellular carcinoma(MHCC)patients with/without microvascular invasion(MVI).Methods:Two hundred and seventy-one patients from January 2010 to December 2014 undergoing curative hepatectomy were included in this ***-free survival(DFS)rates and overall survival(OS)rates as well as prognostic factors were analyzed by the Kaplan-Meier method,the log-rank test and the Cox proportional hazard ***:Thirty-four point four percent(44/128)MVI positive and 55.2%(79/143)MVI negative patients underwent *** analysis revealed that HBV DNA load>103 copy/Ml,>three tumors,MVI,and without PA-TACE were independent risk factors for poor *** alkaline phosphatase(ALP),three tumors,MVI,and without PA-TACE were independent risk factors for poor *** DFS and OS were significantly improved in patients with MVI who received PA-TACE as compared to those who underwent hepatic resection alone(5-year DFS,26.3%vs.20.7%,P=0.038;5-year OS,73.6%vs.47.7%,P=0.005).No differences were noted in DFS and OS among MVI negative patients with or without PA-TACE(5-year DFS,33.7%vs.33.0%,P=0.471;5-year OS,84.1%vs.80.3%,P=0.523).Early recurrence was more likely to occur in patients without PA-TACE(P=0.001).Conclusions:PA-TACE was a safe intervention and could effectively prevent tumor recurrence and improve the survival of the BCLC early stage MHCC patients with MVI.
