Human activity-induced eutrophication and harmful algal blooms are main causes of the expansion of the hypoxic zone in the Changjiang Estuary. Among the many changes in biogeochemical processes, anaerobic ammonium oxidation(anammox) is proposed to play an important role in the nitrogen cycle in hypoxic areas. Ladderane lipids have been used as biomarkers to indicate anammox activity in ecosystems, but the origins of anammox bacteria and ladderanes in suspended particulates are still unclear. In this study, we report the results of a suite of biomarker analyses of suspended particulates across a salinity gradient of the Changjiang Estuary in both the spring and summer to evaluate the origins of the ladderanes and their potential as proxies for anammox activity and hypoxia. The spatio-temporal variations in terrestrial biomarkers(n-alkanes and n-alkanols), marine biomarkers(brassicasterol and dinosterol), and the Terrestrial and Marine Biomarker Ratio and Branched and Isoprenoid Tetraether indices reveal that marine organic matter was dominant in the particulates in both the spring(55%) and summer(86%) seasons. Correlations with both marine and terrestrial biomarkers suggest that ladderanes were mainly produced in the water column, and therefore that ladderane concentrations in suspended particulates in the Changjiang Estuary mainly reflect anammox activity in the water column, although changes in anammox bacterial assemblages may also have played a role in ladderane concentrations. Overall, ladderane results suggest that anammox activity was widespread in the Changjiang Estuary; but higher ladderane concentrations in the summer(especially in the upwelling zone) were correlated with lower dissolved oxygen concentrations, which suggest that they are useful proxies for hypoxia.

Rib eye muscle area（REMA） is an economically important trait and one of the main selection criteria for breeding in the swine industry. In the genome-wide association study（GWAS）, the Illumina Porcine SNP60 Bead Chip containing 62 163 single nucleotide polymorphisms（SNPs） was used to genotype 557 pigs from a porcine Large White×Minzhu intercross population. The REMA（at the 5th–6th, 10th–11th and the last ribs） was measured after slaughtered at the age of（240±7） d for each animal. Association tests between REMA trait and SNPs were performed via the Genome-Wide Rapid Association using the Mixed Model and Regression-Genomic Control（GRAMMAR-GC） approach. From the Ensembl porcine database, SNP annotation was implemented using Sus scrofa Build 10.2. Thirty-three SNPs on SSC12 and 3 SNPs on SSC2 showed significant association with REMA at the last rib at the chromosome-wide significance level. None of the SNPs of REMA at the 5th–6th rib and only a few numbers of the SNPs of REMA at the 10th–11th ribs were found in this study. The Haploview V3.31 program and the *** R package were used to detect and visualize haplotype blocks and to analyze the association of the detected haplotype blocks with REMA at the last rib. A linkage analysis revealed that 4 haplotype blocks contained 4, 4, 2, and 4 SNPs, respectively. Annotations from pig reference genome suggested 2 genes（NOS2, NLK） in block 1（266 kb）, one gene（TMIGD1） in block 2（348 kb）, and one gene（MAP2K4） in block 3（453 kb）. A functional analysis indicated that MYH3 and MYH13 genes are the potential genes controlling REMA at the last rib. We screened several candidate intervals and genes based on the SNPs location and the gene function, and inferred that NOS2 and NLK genes maybe the main genes of REMA at the last ribs.

Owing to the excellent filtration performance and low energy cost,polymeric nanofibers microfiltration(MF)membranes have attracted increasing ***(arylene sulfide sulfone)(PASS),as one of the structurally modified polymers based on poly-(phenylene sulfide)(PPS),has been selected as the raw material to fabricate nanofibers MF membranes via electrospun *** effects of PASS solution and the electrospinning processing parameters on the structural morphology of nanofibers were investigated in *** average diameter of PASS nanofibers was(296±46)nm under the optimal condition:polymer concentration of 0.27 g·m L^–1 PASS/DMI,applied voltage of 20 kV,and speed of collector drum of 300 r·min^–*** then the multi-layer PASS nanofibers MF membranes were fabricated from cold-pressing the optimized PASS nanofibers(as-prepared PASS nanofibers)*** morphology,porosity,pore size,mechanical properties,and surface wettability of the multi-layer PASS nanofibers MF membranes could be tuned by the layers of as-prepared nanofibers *** results demonstrated that the membrane with 6 layers(marked as PASS-6)exhibited the smallest porosity,smallest pore size,highest mechanical property,and best surface ***,the multi-layer PASS nanofibers MF membranes showed that the rejection ratio gradually increased,while the pure water flux decreased with increasing membranes *** PASS-6 membrane exhibited large water flux of 747.76 L·m^–2·h^–1 and high separation efficiency of 99.9%to 0.2μm particles,making it a promising candidate for microfilter.

An urgent demand for lowering bonding temperature has been put forward by advanced flip-chip integration such as micro-LED packaging and heterogeneous integration of semiconductor *** microbump with low-melting point has attracted attention for its potential use as the interconnection intermediate,and the development of its fabrication process is therefore of great *** reveal the critical process factors for successfully fabricating a high-density In microbump array,this paper investigated a simple process flow of In patterning and reflow and detailed the flux-assisted wet reflow *** process conditions,including the patterned In volume,alignment accuracy,reflow reagent liquidity,and temperature profile,were described,with a particular emphasis on the role of surface tension of molten indium film during the formation of spherical microbumps.A high-density indium ball array with an overall yield greater than 99.7%can be obtained,which suggests that the In patterning and wet-reflow processes are robust and that a high-quality microbump array could be readily formed with low equipment ***,the interfacial reaction characteristics between In microbump and Au adhesion layer were investigated under thermal aging conditions,which revealed lateral intermetallic growth of AuIn2 compound and well-retained interfacial strength even after prolonged aging.

Actin and myosin were found to be associated with the cytoplasmic sleeve of plasmodesmata. As cytoskeletal proteins, actin and myosin are believed to regulate the conductivity of plasmodesmata （PDs） in higher plants. Using immunocytochemical methods, we found the two proteins to be co-localized - and closely linked to each other - in plasmodesmata and ectodesmata-like structure in ageing parenchymatous cells of Allium sativum L. We suggest that intercellular communication is affected by the interaction between actin and myosin.

Approximately 25%of patients with congenital heart disease require implantation of patches to ***,most of the currently available patches are made of inert materials with unmatched electrical conductivity and mechanical properties,which may lead to an increased risk for arrhythmia and heart *** this study,we have developed a novel Polyurethane/Small intestinal submucosa patch(PSP)with mechanical and electrical properties similar to those of the native myocardial tissue,and assessed its feasibility for the reconstruction of right ventricular outflow tract.A right ventricular outflow tract reconstruction model was constructed in 40 *** with commercially available bovine pericardium patch,the PSP patch has shown better histocompatibility and biodegradability,in addition with significantly improved cardiac *** tackle the significant fibrosis and relatively poor vascularization during tissue remodeling,we have further developed a bioactive patch by incorporating the PSP composites with urine-derived stem cells(USCs)which were pretreated with *** results showed that the hypoxia-pretreated bioactive patch could significantly inhibit fibrosis and promote vascularization and muscularization,resulting in better right heart *** findings suggested that the PSP patch combined with hypoxia-pretreated USCs may provide a better strategy for the treatment of congenital heart disease.

The low thermal conductivity and light mass of castables for tundish permanent linings are crucial for minimizing the heat loss of molten *** consideration of the low bulk density and thermal conductivity of pearlescent sand,the thermal insulation performance of castables was attempted to be improved by adding pearlescent *** sand was modified to prevent the strength of its porous structure from *** modification mechanism of pearlescent sand and the effect of pearlescent sand on the performance of bauxite castables were *** results suggested that the addition of the modified pearlescent sand significantly raised the apparent porosity and decreased the bulk density of bauxite *** 1000℃,the bulk density of more than 60%of the modified pearlescent sand-bauxite castable was only 2.03 g/cm^(3).The mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance of the modified pearlescent sand-bauxite castable were inferior to those of conventional bauxite castable but were adequate to meet the use conditions of casta-bles for tundish permanent *** high temperatures of 200-800℃,the thermal conductivity of more than 60%of the modified pearlescent sand-bauxite castable was smaller than that of conventional bauxite *** addition of the modified pearlescent sand can greatly reduce the thermal conductivity and bulk density of bauxite castable.

The catalysis of ionic liquids (ILs) in the traditional stirred reactor suffers from insufficient mass and heat transfer, which always needs a long reaction time and results in a low reaction rate. In this work, highly efficient synthesis of 1-methoxy-2-propanol via the alcoholysis reaction of propylene oxide (PO) with methanol was proposed and achieved by the combination of micro-tubular circulating reactor with the IL [N4444] [Buty] catalyst. Compared with the stirred reactor, the rate of alcoholysis reaction in a micro-tubular circulating reactor was found to be significantly improved. The reaction time was remarkably shortened to 20 min from 180 min as well as the yield of 1-methoxy-2-propanol reached 92%. Moreover, the kinetic study further demonstrated that the main reaction rate to 1-methoxy-2-propanol (K1) was about 20 times larger than the side reaction rate to byproduct 2-methoxy-1-propanol (K2) in the temperature range of 363–383 K. Such combination of micro-tubular circulating reactor with IL catalysts is believed to be a class of effective process intensification technique for highly efficient synthesis of 1-methoxy-2-propanol.
