Smooth transitions between two adjacent five-axis toolpaths can reduce feedrate fluctuation,improving machining quality and *** robots’flexibility to adjust the orientation is advantageous in five-axis machining,but their kinematic issues raise challenges for toolpath *** paper proposes a G3continuous toolpath smoothing method for a hybrid robot.B-splines in the machine coordinate system(MCS)are inserted at corners to synchronize five-axis *** transition errors of the tool position and orientation paths are estimated with the golden section *** approximation errors are constrained by adaptively modifying the B-splines,i.e.,adding anchor points and optimizing the control points.A bisection search method is proposed for these geometric modifications,guaranteeing the user-defined error tolerance *** to the method based on the workpiece coordinate system(WCS),the proposed framework generates a smoother trajectory under the same error tolerance *** and experiments are provided to validate the effectiveness.

As infectious respiratory diseases are highly transmissible through the air,researchers have improved traditional total volume air distribution systems to reduce infection ***-vent module-based adaptive ventilation(MAV)is a novel ventilation type that facilitates the switching of inlets and outlets to suit different indoor scenarios without changing ductwork ***,little research has evaluated MAV module sizing and air velocity selection,both related to MAV system efficiency in removing contaminants and the corresponding level of protection for occupants in the ventilated ***,the module-source offset ratio(MSOR)is proposed,based on the MAV module size and its distance from an infected occupant,to inform selection of optimal MAV module *** fluid dynamics simulations illustrated contaminant distribution in a two-person MAV equipped *** phase particles modelled respiratory contaminants from the infected occupant,and contaminant concentration distributions were compared under four MAV air distribution layouts,three air velocities,and three module sizes considered using the *** indicate that lower air velocities favour rising contaminant levels,provided the ventilation rate is *** contaminant discharge can be achieved when the line of outlets is located directly above the infected *** this parameter to guide MAV system design,85.7% of contaminants may be rendered harmless to the human body within 120 s using the default air vent layout.A more appropriate supply air velocity and air vent layout increases this value to 91.4%.These results are expected to inform the deployment of MAV systems to reduce airborne infection risk.

Novel small sulfur heterocyclic quinones(6a,16adihydrobenzo[b]naphtho[2′,3′:5,6][1,4]dithiino[2,3-i]thianthrene-5,7,9,14,16,18-hexaone(4S6Q)and benzo[b]naphtho[2′,3′:5,6][1,4]dithiino[2,3-i]thianthrene-5,9,14,18-tetraone(4S4Q))are developed by molecule structural design method and as cathode for aqueous zincorganic *** conjugated thioether(–S–)bonds as connected units not only improve the conductivity of compounds but also inhibit their dissolution by both extendedπ-conjugated plane and constructed flexible molecular ***,the Zn//4S6Q and Zn//4S4Q batteries exhibit satisfactory electrochemical performance based on 3.5 mol L-1(M)Zn(ClO4)*** instance,the Zn//4S6Q battery obtains 240 and 208.6 mAh g^(-1)of discharge capacity at 150 mA g^(-1)and 30 A g^(-1),*** excellent rate capability is ascribed to the fast reaction *** system displays a superlong life of 20,000 cycles with no capacity fading at 3 A g^(-1).Additionally,the H+-storage mechanism of the 4S6Q compound is demonstrated by ex situ analyses and density functional theory ***,the battery can normally work at-60℃benefiting from the anti-freezing electrolyte and maintain a high discharge capacity of 201.7 mAh g^(-1),which is 86.2%of discharge capacity at 25℃.The cutting-edge electrochemical performances of these novel compounds make them alternative electrode materials for Zn-organic batteries.

Ordered mesoporous carbon(OMCs)FDU-15 was synthesized through an EISA(Evaporation-Induced Self-Assembly)method,and the oxidized OMCs(FDU-15-COOH)were obtained by subsequent oxidation treatments in liquid phase to introduce functional groups,The samples were characterized by XRD,TEM,FT-IR and nitrogen adsorption-desorption test,The low humidity sensing performances of FDU-15 and FDU-15-COOH thin films were investigated by using a quartz crystal microbalance(QCM)*** responses of FDU-15-COOH is higher than that of the pristine FDU-15 at very low humidity(<729 ppmv)with high long-term stability,implying that FDU-15-COOH is a good candidate for low humidity QCM sensor.

The methods of deriving FeO and TiO_(2)contents from the Clementine spacecraft data were discussed,and an approach was developed to derive the content from the measurements using the Moon Mineralogy Mapper(M3)instrument on *** density of lunar bedrock was then modeled on the basis of the derived FeO and TiO_(2)*** FeO and TiO_(2)abundances derived from the M^(3)data were compared with the previous results of the Clementine data and were in good *** FeO abundance data also agreed well with the Lunar Prospector data,which were used as an independent *** previous Clementine and newly M3 derived abundances were compared with the laboratory measured FeO and TiO2 contents in the Apollo and Luna returned *** Clementine derived FeO content was systematically 1%–2%lower than the laboratory measurements in all the returned *** M^(3)derived content agreed well with the returned Apollo samples and was within±2.8%of the laboratory *** Clementine derived TiO2 abundance was systematically 0.1%–4%higher than the laboratory measurements of the returned *** M3 derived TiO_(2)agreed well(±0.6%)with the laboratory measurements of the returned samples,except for samples with high TiO2 ***,these results should be carefully interpreted because the error range requires *** error analysis was provided with the previous Clementine derived contents.

Polymerization is a valid strategy to solve the dissolution issue of organic electrode materials in aprotic ***,conventional polymers usually with amorphous structures and morphology’s influence on electrochemistry have rarely been ***,a hollow tubular poly phenyl pyrene-4,5,9,10-tetraone(T-PPh-PTO)organic cathode material was designed and synthesized based on the concentration-gradient of the precursor(PTO-Br2)and asymmetrical internal diffusion during the *** unique hollow structure endowed T-PPh-PTO with a short Li+diffusion path accompanied by a high diffusion Li+coefficient(D≈10−8 cm^(2)·s^(−1)).Thus,T-PPh-PTO presented a capacitance-dominated redox pseudocapacitance action with an outstanding rate performance(173 mAh·g^(−1)at 2 A·g^(−1))and high cycle stability(capacity retention ratio is 91.7%after 2,000 cycles).Our study leads to further developments in designing unique organic structures for energy storage.
