Currently,with the advent of high-repetition-rate laser-plasma experiments,the demand for online diagnosis for the X-ray spectrum is increasing because the laser-plasma-generated X-ray spectrum is very important for characterizing electron dynamics and *** this study,scintillators and silicon PIN(P-type–intrinsic-N-type semiconductor)diodes were used to construct a wideband online filter stack *** X-ray sensor and filter arrangement was optimized using a genetic algorithm to minimize the condition number of the response ***,the unfolding error was significantly reduced based on numerical *** detector responses were quantitatively calibrated by irradiating the scintillator and PIN diode with various nuclides and comparing the measuredγ-ray peaks.A prototype 15-channel spectrometer was developed by integrating an X-ray detector with front-and back-end *** prototype spectrometer could record X-ray pulse signals at a repetition rate of 1 ***,an optimized spectrometer was employed to record the real-time spectra of laser-driven bremsstrahlung *** optimized spectrometer offers a compact solution for spectrum diagnostics of ultrashort X-ray pulses,exhibiting improved accuracy in terms of spectrum measurements and repetition rates,and could be widely used in next-generation high-repetition-rate high-power laser facilities.

Investigation into the improved axial compressibility of a spinning non-ideal gas

Using theoretical analysis and mumerical calculation method,the axial adiabatic compression of a spinning non-ideal gas in a cylinder with a smooth surface is *** show that the axial pressure of a spinning gas will gradually become lower than that of a stationary gas during continuous compression,even though the initial axial pressure of the spining gas is larger than that of the stationary gas at the same initial temperature and average *** phenomenon indicates that the axial compressibility of gas is improved in a rotating *** addition,the effect of different forms of virial coefficient B(T)on pressure and temperature changes in spinning and stationary gases are *** on the axial compressibility of spinning non ideal gas can provide useful references for fields that require high compression of gases,such as laser fusion,laboratory astrophysics,and Z-pinch experiments.

Development of the bunch-by-bunch beam position acquisition system based on BEEcube

In this paper, we report the development of a bunch-by-bunch beam position acquisition *** a wideband synthesizer of PLL, the system realizes synchronous clock of bunch signal. Based on the highperformance FPGA hardware DAQ environment, fourchannel raw data of beam signal can be achieved. Test results in the SSRF storage ring show that the system can obtain beam position of single bunch with the resolution of10 lm and multi-bunch instability can be observed.

New insight into Ca^(2+)-permeable channel in plant immunity

Calcium ions(Ca^(2+)) are crucial intracellular second messengers in eukaryotic cells. Upon pathogen perception, plants generate a transient and rapid increase in cytoplasmic Ca^(2+)levels, which is subsequently decoded by Ca^(2+)sensors and effectors to activate downstream immune responses. The elevation of cytosolic Ca^(2+)is commonly attributed to Ca^(2+)influx mediated by plasma membranelocalized Ca^(2+)–permeable channels. However, the contribution of Ca^(2+)release triggered by intracellular Ca^(2+)-permeable channels in shaping Ca^(2+)signaling associated with plant immunity remains poorly understood. This review discusses recent advances in understanding the mechanism underlying the shaping of Ca^(2+)signatures upon the activation of immune receptors, with particular emphasis on the identification of intracellular immune receptors as non-canonical Ca^(2+)-permeable channels. We also discuss the involvement of Ca^(2+)release from the endoplasmic reticulum in generating Ca^(2+)signaling during plant immunity.

Multivariate model for predicting semen ：ryopreservation outcomes in a human sperm ban

Semen cryopreservation is widely used in assisted reproductive technologies, but it reduces sperm quality dramatically. The aim of this study was to develop a model using basal semen quality to predict the outcome of postthaw semen parameters and improve the efficiency of cryopreservation in a human sperm bank. Basal semen parameters of 180 samples were evaluated in the first stage, and a multiple logistic regression analysis involving a backward elimination selection procedure was applied to select independent predictors. After a comprehensive analysis of all results, we developed a new model to assess the freezability of sperm. Progressive motility （PR）, straight-line velocity （VSL） and average path velocity （VAP） were included in our model. A greater area under the receiver operating characteristic curve was obtained in our model when compared with other indicators. In the second stage of our study, samples that satisfied the new model were selected to undergo freeze-thawing. Compared with the first stage, the rate of good freezability was increased significantly （94% vs 67%, P = 0.003）. By determining basal semen quality, we have developed a new model to improve the efficiency of cryopreservation in a human sperm bank.

Effects of CYP3A5 polymorphisms on tacrolimus pharmacokinetics in pediatric kidney transplantation:a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies

Background:CYP3A5 genetic polymorphisms have been reported to be strongly associated with the tacrolimus pharmacokinetics in adult kidney ***,there is no published meta-analysis in the influence of CYP3A5 variants on the requirements of the tacrolimus dose in pediatric renal-transplant recipients (RTRs).We wished to determine the effects of CYP3A5 polymorphisms on tacrolimus pharmacokinetics in pediatric ***:A literature search was conducted to include relevant articles by searching PubMed,EMBASE and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled ***-associated parameters such as dose administration,as well as concentrations and dose-adjusted concentrations of tacrolimus were extracted and the metaanalysis ***:The meta-analysis involved four studies and one study series involving 268 pediatric RTRs.A significant difference was observed in the mean trough concentration/ dose of tacrolimus between recipients carrying CYP3A5* 3/*3 variants (referred to as 'non-expressers') and those carrying CYP3A5*1 (referred to as 'expressers') [standard mean difference (SMD)=-1.09,95% confidence interval (CI):-1.92 to-0.25,P=0.011].Moreover,significance was observed in the mean daily dose of tacrolimus between nonexpressers and expressers in pediatric RTRs (SMD=0.44,95% CI:0.20 to 0.68,P<0.001).Conclusion:Our meta-analysis identified a positive correlation between CYP3A5 genotypes and tacrolimus pharmacokinetics in pediatric RTRs.

K doping stabilizes three-dimensional K0.2Na1.3Mn0.5O2-δ as high-performance cathode for sodium-ion batteries

It is a difficult challenge to simultaneously employ the cationic and anionic redox chemistry in cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries with high *** though layered oxides （classified as two-dimensional oxides） demonstrate excellent promise in the high discharge capacity,their poor oxygen transformation via redox reactions is limited by crystal ***,a doping strategy was conceived to tackle this issue and increase redox efficiency.K doping was applied to transform the two-dimensional Na1.3Mn0.7O2（NMO） to threedimensional K0.2Na1.3Mn0.5O2（KNMO）,preventing the irreversible phase shift and preserving the crystal structure’s stability while *** this modification treatment,KNMO features manganese and oxygen reactive sites,delivering a promising energy density of 190mAh·g-1at 5 mA·g-1in the 2.0–4.5 V voltage range (vs71.4 mAh·g-1for the pristine NMO).Moreover,it displays improved capacity retention of more than 83.5% after 50cycles at 50 mA·*** results demonstrated that doped intercalation oxides were promising for redox oxygen transformation in sodium-ion batteries.

Pulmonary diseases across all ages threaten millions of people and have emerged as one of the major public health issues *** diverse disease con-ditions,the currently available approaches are focused on alleviating clinical symptoms and delaying disease progression but have not shown significant therapeutic effects in patients with lung *** umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells(UC-MSCs)isolated from the human UC have the capacity for self-renewal and multilineage ***,in recent years,these cells have been demonstrated to have unique advantages in the treatment of lung *** searched the Public Clinical Trial Database and found 55 clinical trials involving UC-MSC therapy for pulmonary diseases,including coronavirus disease 2019,acute respiratory distress syndrome,bron-chopulmonary dysplasia,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,and pulmonary *** this review,we summarize the characteristics of these registered clinical trials and relevant published results and explore in depth the challenges and opportunitiesfaced in clinical ***,the underlying mole-cular mechanisms involved in UC-MSC-based therapy for pulmonary diseases are also analyzed in *** brief,this comprehensive review and detailed analysis of these clinical trials can be expected to provide a scientific reference for future large-scale clinical application.

In Situ Coupling of Highly Dispersed Ni/Fe Metal-NC Sites and N-Doped 3D Carbon Fibers Toward Free-Standing Bifunctional Cathode for Flexible Zinc-Air Battery

Designing flexible free-standing air-electrode with efficient OER/ORR performance is of vital importance for the application of Zinc-air batteries in flexible ***,a flexible free-standing electrode(Ni/Fe-NC/NCF/CC)is synthesized by in-situ coupling of binary Ni/Fe-NC nanocubes and N-doped carbon nanofibers(NCF)rooted on carbon *** highly dispersed binary Ni/Fe-NC sites ensure excellent ORR activity and create efficient OER active sites relative to Ni-NC and *** in-situ coupling of Ni/Fe-NC and NCF constructs a 3D interconnected network structure that not only provides abundant and stabilized reactive sites but also guarantees fast electron transfer and gas transportation,thus achieving efficient and fast operation of ORR/***,Ni/Fe-NC/NCF/CC displays a much positive potential(0.952 V)at 4.0 mA cm^(-2)for ORR and a low OER overpotential(310 mV)at 50 mA cm^(-2).The Zinc-air battery with Ni/Fe-NC/NCF/CC air-electrode exhibits excellent battery performance with outstanding discharge/charge durability for 2150 *** flexible Zn-air batteries with foldable mechanical properties display a high power density of 105.0 mW cm^(-2).This work widened the way to prepare flexible bifunctional air-electrode by designing composition/structure and in-situ coupling.
