Panicle architecture is an agronomic determinant of crop yield and a target for cereal crop *** investigate its molecular mechanisms in rice,we performed map-based cloning and characterization of OPEN PANICLE 1(OP1),a gain-of-function allele of LIGULELESS 1(LG1),controlling the spread-panicle *** allele results from a 48-bp deletion in the LG1 upstream region and promotes pulvinus development at the base of the primary *** OP1 expression and altered panicle phenotype in chimeric transgenic plants and upstream-region knockout mutants indicated that the deletion regulates spread-panicle architecture in the mutant spread panicle 1(sp1).Knocking out BRASSINOSTEROID UPREGULATED1(BU1)gene in the background of OP1 complementary plants resulted in compact panicles,suggesting OP1 may regulate inflorescence architecture via the brassinosteroid signaling *** regard that manipulating the upstream regulatory region of OP1 or genes involved in BR signal pathway could be an efficient way to improve rice inflorescence architecture.

Electrochemical trepanning (ECTr) is an effective electrochemical machining (ECM) technique that can be used to manufacture the integral components of aero-engine compressors. This study focused on the dynamic evolution of ECTr for production of inner blisks (bladed disks) with a special chamfer structure at blade tip. Due to the existence of chamfer, the ECTr process of inner blades is in a non-equilibrium state during the early stages, and the physical field changes in the machining gap are complex, making it difficult to predict the forming process. In this paper, a dynamic evolution model (DEM) of inner blade ECTr with a special chamfer at blade tip structure is proposed, and an ECTr multi-physical fields simulation study was carried out. The evolution of the chamfer at blade tip was analyzed and data related to chamfer were predicted based on the dependence of anode boundary properties with machining time and feed rate. In addition, the distributions of current density, electrolyte flow rate, bubble volume fraction, temperature rise, and electrolyte conductivity in the machining area at different times were obtained by combining them with the multi-physical fields simulation results. Subsequently, a series of ECTr experiments were conducted, in which, as the feed rate increased, the surface quality and machining accuracy of the inner blades were improved. Compared with the simulation results, the error in machining accuracy of the chamfer profile is controlled within +/- 2%, and the machining accuracy of the blade full profile was controlled within +/- 0.2 mm, indicating that the model proposed in this study was effective in predicting the evolution of inner blades ECTr with chamfer structures at blade tip. Deep reinforcement learning models are vulnerable to adversarial attacks that can decrease the cumulative expected reward of a victim by manipulating its observations. Despite the efficiency of previous optimization-based methods for generating adversarial noise in supervised learning, such methods might not achieve the lowest cumulative reward since they do not generally explore the environmental ***, a framework is provided to better understand the existing methods by reformulating the problem of adversarial attacks on reinforcement learning in the function space. The reformulation approach adopted herein generates an optimal adversary in the function space of targeted attacks, repelling them via a generic two-stage framework. In the first stage, a deceptive policy is trained by hacking the environment and discovering a set of trajectories routing to the lowest reward or the worst-case performance. Next, the adversary misleads the victim to imitate the deceptive policy by perturbing the observations. Compared to existing approaches, it is theoretically shown that our adversary is strong under an appropriate noise level. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, achieving state-of-the-art performance in both Atari and MuJoCo environments.

Calcium ions(Ca^(2+)) are crucial intracellular second messengers in eukaryotic cells. Upon pathogen perception, plants generate a transient and rapid increase in cytoplasmic Ca^(2+)levels, which is subsequently decoded by Ca^(2+)sensors and effectors to activate downstream immune responses. The elevation of cytosolic Ca^(2+)is commonly attributed to Ca^(2+)influx mediated by plasma membranelocalized Ca^(2+)–permeable channels. However, the contribution of Ca^(2+)release triggered by intracellular Ca^(2+)-permeable channels in shaping Ca^(2+)signaling associated with plant immunity remains poorly understood. This review discusses recent advances in understanding the mechanism underlying the shaping of Ca^(2+)signatures upon the activation of immune receptors, with particular emphasis on the identification of intracellular immune receptors as non-canonical Ca^(2+)-permeable channels. We also discuss the involvement of Ca^(2+)release from the endoplasmic reticulum in generating Ca^(2+)signaling during plant immunity.

Polymer density-functional theories(PDFTs)have distinct advantages in the study of polyelectrolyte(PE)systems over experiments and molecular *** we give an introductory review of some PDFTs recently developed for PE *** start with a general formalism of PDFTs and its relation to the widely used polymer self-consistent field theory(SCFT),then explain the various correlations that are neglected in SCFT but can be accounted for in PDFTs,including those due to the excluded-volume interaction and chain connectivity of uncharged polymers,the electrostatic correlations of small ions,and the chain correlations in *** also list some applications of PDFTs for PE systems,and finally give some perspectives on future *** hope that our review can attract more researchers to apply and further develop PDFTs as a promising class of theoretical and computational tools.
