BACKGROUND From the anal function,inflammatory response and other indicators,acupuncture combined with rehabilitation gymnastics was applied to patients with cancer undergoing low resection,aiming to improve the prognosis of *** To explore the effects of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation gymnastics on anal function after lower rectal cancer *** From January 2020 to December 2022,128 patients who underwent rectal cancer surgery in the Department of Oncology of hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were selected and divided into two groups using the random number table method,with 64 patients in each *** in the control group were not treated with acupuncture or rehabilitation gymnastics and served as blank *** in the study group were treated with acupuncture and rehabilitation gymnastics from the 7th postoperative *** anal incontinence scores,changes in serum interleukin-4,interleukin-6,and interleukin-10 Levels,and serum motilin,5-hydroxytryptamine,and vasoactive intestinal peptide levels were *** There were no significant differences in serum interleukin-4,interleukin-6,and interleukin-10 Levels between the groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,these levels were better than those of the control group(Phere was no significant difference in the anal incontinence scores between the groups before and 7 d after surgery(P>0.05).Anal incontinence scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group at 14 d,21 d,and 28 d postoperatively(Phere were no significant differences in serum motilin,5-hydroxytryptamine,or vasoactive intestinal peptide levels between the groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,these levels were higher in the study group than in the control group,and vasoactive intestinal peptide level was lower in the study group than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Acupuncture combined with rehabilitation gymnas

Improved direct power control of a grid-connected voltage source converter during network unbalance

This paper deals with an improved direct power control(DPC) strategy for the pulse width modulation(PWM) voltage source converter(VSC) under unbalanced grid voltage *** order to provide enhanced control performance for the VSC,the resonant controllers tuned at the double grid frequency are applied in the DPC design to eliminate the power pulsations and dc link voltage ripples produced by the transient unbalanced grid *** this way,the output power and dc link voltage of the VSC can be directly regulated without positive and negative sequential *** a result,and as has been verified by experiment,the proposed method can provide fast dynamic response with easy implementation.

Abstract Six new cell lines were established from embryonic tissues of the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.). The cell lines showed differential characteristics, including growth in attachment or in suspension, susceptibility to a baculovirus infection and expression of genes involved in the glucosinolate detoxification pathway in R xylostella larvae. Five of the cell lines grew attached to the culture flask and one cell line grew unattached as a suspension cell line. The cell lines had population doubling times ranging from IS to 23 h. Among five of the P. xylostella cell lines examined for infection of a nucleopolyhe. drovirus from Autographa californica, AcMNPV four cell lines were highly susceptible to AcMNPV infection, but one was only semi-permissive to AcMNPV infection. The production of two recombinant proteins, a β-galactosidase of bacterial origin and a secreted alkaline phosphatase of eukaryotic origin, in the R xylostella cell lines was examined in comparison with that in the cell line Sf9 which is commonly used for recombinant protein production. In the P. xylostella cell lines, expression of three important midgut genes involved in the glucosinolate detoxification pathway, including the glucosinolate sulfatase genes GSS1 and GSS2 and the sulfatase modifying factor gene SUMF1、was detected. The R xylostella cell lines developed in this study could be useful in in vitro research systems for studying insec-virus interactions and complex molecular mechanisms in glucosinolate detoxification and insect-plant interactions.

Bioisosteres play an important role in pharmaceutical and agri cultural compound design that has been developed to enhance the properties of *** a sp3-rich small ring cage hydro carbons,bicyclo[1.1.1]pentanes （BCPs） were commonly considered as a bioisostere of the para-substituted arenes,internal alkynes and tert–butyl groups,and its introduction can significantly im prove pharmacokinetic properties,including passive permeability aqueous solubility,metabolic stability[1].Over the past decades numerous pharmaceutically relevant molecules with biaryl frame works were improved by the approach of bioisosteric replacement Conventional strategies for the synthesis of such BCP-aryls deriva tives mostly depend on the stepwise C–C formation via the di rect addition to bridgehead C–C bond of[1.1.1]propellane to pro vide active BCP-intermediates and followed by a second transition metal cross-coupling ***,these pioneer works were limited by the low step economy,the use of unstable reagents and harsh conditions in industrial ***,radical mediated one-step,multi-component reactions[2-6]for synthe sizing various BCP-aryl derivatives have made progress,although these strategies were limited to the prefunctionalized （het）arene and tertiary alkyl radicals[7].Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a method for diverse BCP-aryls that can be compatible with primary,secondary,tertiary radicals and direct C–H function alization of （het）arenes.

Application of total keratometry in ten intraocular lens power calculation formulas in highly myopic eyes

Background:The accuracy of using total keratometry(TK)value in recent IOL power calculation formulas in highly myopic eyes remained ***:Highly myopic patients who underwent uneventful cataract surgery were prospectively enrolled in this prospective comparative *** one month postoperatively,standard deviation(SD)of the prediction errors(PEs),mean and median absolute error(MedAE)of 103 highly myopic eyes were back-calculated and compared among ten formulas,including XGboost,RBF 3.0,Kane,Barrett Universal II,Emmetropia Verifying Optical 2.0,Cooke K6,Haigis,SRK/T,and Wang-Koch modifications of Haigis and SRK/T formulas,using either TK or standard keratometry(K)***:In highly myopic eyes,despite good agreement between TK and K(P>0.05),larger differences between the two were associated with smaller central corneal thickness(Phe refractive errors,TK method showed no differences compared to K *** XGBoost,RBF 3.0 and Kane ranked top three when considering SDs of *** TK value,the XGboost calculator was comparable with the RBF 3.0 formula(P>0.05),which both presented smaller MedAEs than others(all Phe percentage of eyes within±0.50 D or±0.75 D of PE,the XGBoost TK showed comparable percentages with the RBF 3.0 TK formula(74.76%vs.66.99%,or 90.29%vs.87.38%,P>0.05),and statistically larger percentages than the other eight formulas(Phe most promising outcomes in highly myopic eyes.

The diamondback moth,Plutella xylostella (L.),uses sulfatases (SULF)to counteract the glucosinolate-myrosinase defensive system that cruciferous plants have evolved to deter insect *** activity is regulated by post-translational modi- fication of a cysteine residue by sulfatase modifying factor 1(SUMF1).We identified 12 SULF genes (PxylSulfs)and two SUMF1 genes (PxylSumfls)in the *** genome. Phylogenetic analysis of SULFs and SUMFs from ***,Bombyx mori,Manduca sexta,heliconius melpomene,Danaus plexippus,Drosophila melanogaster,Tetranychus urticae and Homo sapiens showed that the SULFs were clustered into five groups,and the SUMFs could be divided into two *** of the expression of PxylSulfs and Pxyl Sumfs by RNA-seq and by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction showed that two glucosinolate sulfatase genes (GSS),PxylSulf2and PxylSulf3,were primarily expressed in the midgut of 3rd-and 4th-instar ***,expression of sulfatases PxylSulf2, PxylSulf3 and PxylSulf4 were correlated with expression of the sulfatases modifying fac tor *** findings from this study provide new insights into the structure and expression of SUMF1and PxylSulf genes that are considered to be key factors for the evolutionary success *** as a specialist herbivore of cruciferous plants.

Peptide-drug conjugates have achieved considerable development and application as a novel strategy for targeted delivery of anticancer drugs. Bioactive peptides induced calcium deposition can irreversibly assist inhibition of tumors. However, active regulation of calcium level through signal transduction of bioactive substances has not been reported yet. In this study, novel neuropeptide-doxorubicin conjugates(NP-DOX) with lysosome-specific acid response were described for neuropeptide Y_1 receptor(Y_1R)-overexpressed triple-negative breast cancer. The delivery mechanism of NP-DOX was clarified that diverse pathways were involved, including intracellular and intercellular transport. Importantly, up-regulation of Y_1 R-mediated intracellular calcium level via second messenger inositol triphosphate was presented in NP-DOX treated MDA-MB-231 cells. In vivo antitumor efficacy demonstrated that NP-DOX showed less organ toxicity and enhanced tumor inhibition benefited from its controlled release and Y_1R-mediated calcium deposition, compared with free DOX. This bioconjugate is a proof-of-concept confirming that neuropeptide-mediated control of signaling responses in neuropeptide-drug conjugates enables great potential for further applications in tumor chemotherapy.

Based on five different ensembles of newly generated(2+1)-flavor configurations with pion mass of approximately mπ■(140-310)MeV,we present a lattice analysis of hidden-charm and hidden-strange hexaquarks with the quark content■.The correlation matrices of two types of operators with JPC=0++,0-+,1++and 1--are simulated to extract the masses of the hexaquark candidates,which are subsequently extrapolated to the physical pion mass and continuum *** results indicate that ground state masses are below the■threshold and provide a characteristic signal for the experimental discovery of hexaquark candidates,which may enrich the versatile structure of multiquarks;moreover,it is an indispensable step to decipher the nonperturbative nature of the fundamental interactions of quarks and gluons.
