阿尔茨海默病(AD)是老年人群高发的神经退行性疾病,中枢神经元突触改变是其关键病理特征。针灸治疗AD临床疗效确切,从中枢突触可塑性调节角度探讨针刺干预AD的机制研究不断深入。本文整理近年来相关实验研究,从修复突触结构、改善突触传递效能、促进突触相关蛋白表达、调控神经递质和受体表达、提高神经营养因子水平等多途径总结探讨针刺调节突触可塑性治疗AD的作用机制,从而为后期研究提供依据。

Asthma is a common disease with recurrent onset which severely affects patients＇ quality of life. Acupuncture can improve pulmonary functions in asthma patients and thus treat this disorder. To summarize the status of acupuncture treatment for asthma, we have collected clinical literatures published in the recent 20 years and analyzed the influence of acupuncture on pulmonary functions in asthma patients from the aspects of frequently used points, needling techniques, manipulation and mechanisms to provide references for treating asthma with acupuncture.

Porous titanium scaffold with suitable porous architecture exhibits enormous potentials for bone defect ***,insufficient osteointegration and osteoinduction still remain to open as one of the major problems to achieve satisfactory therapeutic *** solve this problem,many studies have been carried out to improve the bioactivity of porous titanium scaff old by surface *** this study,porous Ti6Al4V scaff olds were fabricated using additive manufacturing *** architectures were built up based on a diamond pore structure ***–acid-heat(AH)treatment was applied to create a TiO2 layer on the porous Ti6Al4V scaff old(AH-porous Ti6Al4V).Subsequently,a hydrothermal treatment was employed to enable the formation of HA coating with nanopillar-like morphology on the alkali–acid-heat-treated surface(HT/AH-porous Ti6Al4V).The effects of surface modifications on apatite-forming ability,protein adsorption,cell attachment,cell proliferation and osteogenic gene expression were studied using apatite-forming ability test,protein adsorption assay and in vitro cell culture *** was found that the HT/AH-porous Ti6Al4V exhibited the highest apatite formation ability and best affinity to fibronectin and *** vitro studies indicated that the mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)cultured on the HT/AH-porous Ti6Al4V presented improved adhesion and differentiation compared with the porous Ti6Al4V and AH-porous Ti6Al4V.

The effect of spatial temperature gradient on the microstructural evolution of a 308L stainless steel during the directed energy deposition(DED)process was experimentally investigated.A novel cooling system was designed and incorporated to a DED system in order to control the temperature gradient along the deposition direction during *** deposition,the workpiece was placed on a lifting platform,and as the deposition process proceeded,the platform and workpiece were gradually lowered into cooling water so that the temperature gradient along the deposition direction could be controlled and maintained stable during the deposition *** microstructure characterization results indicated that a deposition strategy with higher G and G/R values(where G is temperature gradient and R is solidification rate)produced finer cellular grains that were better aligned with the deposition direction,while a deposition strategy with lower G and G/R values produced columnar grains with larger primary arm spacing and less aligned with the deposition direction.

Viral and Bacterial Etiology of Acute Diarrhea among Children under 5 Years of Age in Wuhan, China

Background： Acute diarrhea remains the serious problem in developing countries, especially among children under 5 years of age. Currently, only two or three common diarrhea pathogens were screened at most hospitals in China. The aim of this study was to provide a wide variety of diarrhea pathogens and their antimicrobial resistance patterns in children under 5 years of age. Methods： Totally 381 stool samples collected from Tongji Hospital between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 were tested by culture and/or polymerase chain reaction for eight kinds of bacteria and five kinds of viruses. An antimicrobial sensitivity test was performed using dilution method recommended by the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute. Results： Viral infections were mainly identified in infants （0-11 months）, whereas bacterial infections were more prevalent in the age of 24-59 months. About 69.8% of samples were positive for at least one pathogen, 51.7% of samples were virus positive, followed by bacteria positive cases （19.4%）, and 12.6% of cases displayed co-infections with two viruses or a virus and a bacterium. Rotavirus was the most prevalent pathogen, followed closely by norovirus, while Salmonella was the most commonly isolated bacteria, followed by diarrheagenic Escherichia coli （DEC） and Campylobacter. More than 40% of Salmonella spp. and DEC isolates were resistant to first-line antibiotics （ampicillin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, and tetracycline）. Around 10% of Salmonella spp. isolates were resistant to ceftriaxone and ciprofloxacin simultaneously. Campylobacter spp. displayed high resistance to ciprofloxacin but kept low resistance to azithromycin and doxycycline. Conclusions： The etiology of acute diarrhea varies in children of different age groups. The high frequency of infection with viruses suggests the urgent demand for new viral vaccine development. Small-scale measurements of the radon exhalation rate using the flow-through and closed-loop methods were conducted on the surface of a uranium tailing pond to better understand the differences between the two *** abnormal radon exhalation behavior was observed,leading to computational fluid dynamics(CFD)-based simulations in which dynamic radon migration in a porous medium and accumulation chamber was *** on the in-situ experimental and numerical simulation results,variations in the radon exhalation rate subject to permeability,flow rate,and insertion depth were quantified and *** in-situ radon exhalation rates measured using the flow-through method were higher than those measured using the closed-loop method,which could be explained by the negative pressure difference between the inside and outside of the chamber during the *** consistency of the variations in the radon exhalation rate between the experiments and simulations suggests the reliability of CFD-based techniques in obtaining the dynamic evolution of transient radon exhalation rates for diffusion and convection at the porous medium-air *** synergistic effects of the three factors(insertion depth,flow rate,and permeability)on the negative pressure difference and measured exhalation rate were quantified,and multivariate regression models were established,with positive correlations in most cases;the exhalation rate decreased with increasing insertion depth at a permeability of 1×10^(−11) m^(2).CFD-based simulations can provide theoretical guidance for improving the flow-through method and thus achieve accurate measurements.

Adhesives play an important role in modern society's production and daily life. Developing robust and sustainable adhesives remains a great challenge. Here we report a sustainable epoxy-vitrimer adhesive with high adhesive strength (about 10 MPa) and reusability (82%strength after 3 times). This adhesive can be fabricated from commercially available products through a straightforward hot-pressing method without the need of solvents. The adhesive process is also simple, requiring only 30 min at 180°C. In addition, the vitrimer adhesive has the advantages of both erasability for reuse and excellent water resistance. This work provides a facile strategy to fabricate high-strength adhesive that ensures reusability, recyclability, low cost of raw materials, and simple processing technology. Simultaneously, it expands the range of potential applications for epoxy vitrimers.
