Background:Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a liver disorder characterized by the accumulation and degeneration of fat in the liver cells,a condition that may further deteriorate and lead to cirrhosis and liver *** studies showed that metabolic dysfunction can promote NAFLD *** Zhugan Decoction(LGZGD)has therapeutic effects on *** mechanism of LGZGD still remains *** study was to examine the impact of LGZGD on the metabolic processes involved in the development of ***:A mice model of NAFLD was treated with *** therapeutic potential of LGZGD was evaluated by assessing the activity of transaminases,lipids levels of blood,and pathological changes in the liver of the mice model of ***,this study also evaluated the influence of LGZGD on liver inflammation and oxidative ***:The results of untargeted metabolomics analysis showed that LGZGD reduced the disordered lipid metabolism in NAFLD *** improved the oxidative stress and also reduced the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the *** metabolomics analysis of liver samples revealed that LGZGD treatment improved metabolic disorders,including alanine,aspartate,glutamate,glycerophospholipid metabolism,and citrate *** RT-qPCR and Western blot results showed that LGZGD could regulate the expression of key enzymes in the metabolic pathway of the citrate cycle,including ATP-citrate lyase(ACLY),alanine-glyoxylate aminotransferase-2(AGXT2),phosphatidylethanolamine N-methyltransferase(PEMT),and succinate dehydrogenase(SDH).Conclusion:We found that LGZGD can treat NAFLD by reducing inflammatory responses,inhibiting oxidative stress,regulating alanine,aspartate,glutamate,and glycerophospholipid metabolism,and citrate cycle pathways.

The vibration response and noise caused by subway trains can affect the safety and comfort of *** study the dynamic response characteristics of subway stations and superstructures under train loads with a hard combination,a numerical model is developed in this *** indoor model test verified the accuracy of the numerical *** influence laws of different hard combinations,train operating speeds and modes were studied and evaluated *** results show that the frequency corresponding to the peak vibration acceleration level of each floor of the superstructure property is concentrated at 10–20 *** vibration response decreases in the high-frequency parts and increases in the lowfrequency parts with increasing distance from the ***,the factors,such as train operating speed,operating mode,and hard combination type,will affect the vibration of the *** vibration response under the reversible operation of the train is greater than that of the unidirectional *** operating speed of the train is proportional to its vibration *** vibration amplification area appears between the middle and the top of the superstructure at a higher train *** vibration acceleration level will exceed the limit value of relevant regulations,and vibration-damping measures are *** the scope of application,this study provides some suggestions for constructing subway stations and superstructures.

Observer-based event-triggered formation tracking control for second-order multi-agent systems in constrained region

In this paper, an event-triggered time-varying formation tracking control for a class of second-order nonlinear multiagent systems(MAS) operating within a constrained region is investigated. To mitigate the negative effects of external unknown disturbance, a novel disturbance observer with performance guarantees is proposed, enabling precise disturbance *** the artificial potential field(APF) method, a repulsive potential function is introduced to prevent inter-agent collisions as well as collisions with environmental obstacles. To reduce continuous communication and frequent system updates, a sliding mode technique is incorporated into the formation tracking controller, utilizing an event-triggered mechanism. The controller is also applicable to the formation control of MAS in switching-constrained regions. The achievement of the specified timevarying geometric formation is rigorously demonstrated through the Lyapunov framework. Numerical simulations are presented to validate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

The methanol-to-olefins(MTO)reaction offers an alternative pathway for the production of low-carbon olefins from non-oil *** research has been impeded by a lack of comprehensive understanding of its underlying mechanism,despite the significant progress made in ***-situ solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance(ss NMR)spectroscopy has emerged as a pivotal tool,offering crucial insights into key species under real-time operando ***,the host–guest interaction between zeolites or surface species residing on zeolites and the reactant/active intermediates is revealed by the combination of in-situ^(13)C MAS NMR and 2D correlation ***,recent technological advancements in hyperpolarization(HP)methods,including HP^(129)Xe NMR and dynamic nuclear polarization(DNP),have significantly improved the sensitivity of ssNMR,enabling detailed structural and kinetic analysis as well as the detection of trace *** this feature article,we summarized recent advancements in(in-situ)ssNMR spectroscopy applied to MTO reaction processes,encompassing mechanistic investigations at various stages and the intricate host–guest *** theoretical insights into the dynamic evolution of MTO reactions lay a solid foundation for the optimization of catalytic processes and the development of efficient catalysts,thereby advancing the techniques towards more sustainable and economical production route for olefins.

Numerical simulation of microstructure and microporosity morphology in directional solidification of aluminum-copper alloys:Effect of copper content and withdrawal rate

Microporosity formed in the solidification process of Al alloys is detrimental to the alloy properties.A two-dimensional cellular automaton(CA)model was developed to simulate the microstructure and microporosity formation in Al-Cu alloys,considering variations in Cu content and solidification *** results indicate that the Cu content primarily influences the growth of *** validate the model,directional solidification experiments were conducted on Al-Cu alloys with varing Cu contents and withdrawal *** experimental results of dendrites and microporosity characteristics agree well with the predictions from the developed model,thus confirming the validity of the *** alloy’s liquidus temperature,dendrite morphology,and hydrogen saturation solubility arising from different Cu contents have significant effects on microporosity *** withdrawal rate primarily affects the nucleation of hydrogen microporosity by altering cooling rates and dendritic growth rates,resulting in different microporosity characteristics.

Electrochemical removal of nitrate in high-salt wastewater with low-cost iron electrode modified by phosphate

Nitrate(NO3-)is a widespread pollutant in high-salt wastewater and causes serious harm to human *** electrochemical removal of nitrate has been demonstrated to be a promising treatment method,the development of low-cost electro-catalysts is still *** this work,a phosphate modified iron(P-Fe)cathode was prepared for electrochemical removal of nitrate in high-salt *** phosphate modification greatly improved the activity of iron,and the removal rate of nitrate on P-Fe was three times higher than that on Fe *** experiments and density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrated that the modification of phosphoric acid improved the stability and the activity of the zero-valent iron electrode effectively for *** nitrate was firstly electrochemically reduced to ammonium,and then reacted with the anodic generated hypochlorite to *** this study,a strategy was developed to improve the activity and stability of metal electrode for NO_(3)^(-)removal,which opened up a new field for the efficient reduction of NO3-removal by metal electrode materials.

Insights into novel indium catalyst to kW scale low cost,high cycle stability of iron-chromium redox flow battery

Iron-chromium flow batteries(ICRFBs)have emerged as an ideal large-scale energy storage device with broad application prospects in recent *** of the Cr^(3+)/Cr^(2+)redox reaction activity and inhibition of the hydrogen evolution side reaction(HER)are essential for the development of ICRFBs and require a novel catalyst ***,elucidating the underlying mechanisms for modulating catalyst behaviors remains an unresolved ***,we show a novel precisely controlled preparation of a novel thermal-treated carbon cloth electrode with a uniform deposit of low-cost indium catalyst *** density functional theory analysis reveals the In catalyst has a significant adsorption effect on the reactants and improves the redox reaction activity of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(2+).Moreover,H+is more easily absorbed on the surface of the catalyst with a high migration energy barrier,thereby inhibiting the occurrence of *** assembled ICRFBs have an average energy efficiency of 83.91%at 140 mA cm^(-2),and this method minimizes the electrodeposition process and cleans the last obstacle for industry long cycle operation *** ICRFBs exhibit exceptional long-term stability with an energy efficiency decay rate of 0.011%per cycle at 1000 cycles,the lowest ICRFBs reported so ***,this study provides a promising strategy for developing ICRFBs with low costs and long cycle life.

Copper(Cu)is widely used in the electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction(ECO_(2)RR)for efficient methane(CH_(4))***,the morphology and valence of Cu-based catalysts are usually unstable under reaction *** this work,we prepared Ce-doped MOF-199 precursor(Ce/HKUST-1)and further obtained nanoparticle electrocatalyst Ce/CuO_(x)-NPs by cyclic voltammetry(CV)*** Faradic efficiency of methane(FE_(CH_(4)))maintains above 62%within a broad potential window of 350 mV and the maximum FE_(CH_(4))reaches 67.4%with a partial current density of 293 mA/cm^(2)at-1.6 V vs.a reversible hydrogen *** characterization and theoretical calculations revealed that the unique electronic structure and large ionic radius of Cerium(Ce)not only promoted the generation of key intermediate*CO but also lowered energy barrier of the*CO to*CHO *** study provides a novel and efficient catalyst for methane production in ECO_(2)RR and offers profound insights into constructing high performance Cu-based catalysts.

Experimental and Numerical Study of Bonding Capacity of Interface between Ultra-High Performance Concrete and Steel Tube

This study investigates the bond performance at the interfacial region shared by Ultra-High Performance Concrete(UHPC)and steel tubes through push-out *** study examines how changes in steel fiber volumetric ratio and thickness of steel tube influence the bond strength *** results show that as the enhancement of the steel tube wall thickness,the ultimate bond strength at the interface improves significantly,whereas the initial bond strength exhibits only slight *** influence of steel fiber volumetric ratio presents a nonlinear trend,with initial bond strength decreasing at low fiber content and increasing significantly as fiber content ***,finite element(FE)simulations were applied to replicate the experimental conditions,and the outcomes showed strong correlation with the experimental data,confirming the exactitude of the FE model in predicting the bond behavior at the UHPC-Steel *** findings provide valuable insights for optimizing the design of UHPC-Filled steel tubes in high-performance structure.
