Full laparoscopic liver resection has been performed widely since it was introduced in the early *** has been expanded from initial for partial resection of the anterolateral segments to non-restriction of area of the liver[1–3].Anatomical liver resec-tion is considered to have potential superiority than non-anatomic resection in terms of tumor prognosis,thus it is more often rec-ommended in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma[4,5].Recently,laparoscopic segmental liver resection according to the Couinaud classification has been widely performed due to its ad-vantages in minimal invasiveness and tumor prognosis.

基于电弧增材制造技术(WAAM)研究往复扫描(RS)、振荡扫描(OS)和垂直扫描(VS)3种沉积策略对5356铝合金(AA5356)构件的影响,探讨5356铝合金构件的显微组织、缺陷和力学性能。结果表明:相比于RS和OS策略,VS策略使得构件的热量分布均匀。VS策略的显微组织主要由等轴晶组成,使得显微硬度最高值达到HV 77.25。VS策略使得构件的气孔率和微孔尺寸分别下降了45.52%和19.81%,从而改善了拉伸性能。因此,VS策略为获得显微组织均匀、力学性能优异的AA5356构件提供了一种新的解决方案。

Starch biosynthesis is important during endosperm development. Much has been known for the regulation of gene expression involved in starch synthesis, less information is available on the genome-wide expression profiles as a consequence of impaired starch synthesis. In this study, we examined the transcriptional responses through microarray analysis in an ae wx double-mutant with loss-of-function starch branching enzyme IIb （SBEIIb） and granule-bound starch synthase I （GBSSI）. Through Gene Ontology enrichment analysis, we identified differentially expressed genes （DEGs） involved in chromatin organization and lipid transport. The DEGs also include alcohol dehydrogenase genes and pyruvate decarboxylase genes involved in sugar metabolism. In summary, the ae wx double mutations caused pleiotropic effects and transcriptional changes for a number of genes involved in metabolism, cellular response and organization. Therefore, a block in starch synthesis triggers transcriptional responses to favour the flux of excess carbohydrates into glycolysis, pentose phosphate pathway, and cell wall biosynthesis, but not toward the synthesis of alternative storage compounds.

With the aging population,intertrochanteric femur fracture in the elderly has become one of the most serious public health issues and a hot topic of research in trauma *** to the limitations of internal fixation techniques and the insufficient mechanical design of nails,the occurrence of complications delays patient recovery after surgical *** of a proximal femur bionic nail(PFBN)based on zhang’s N triangle theory provides triangular supporting fixation,which dramatically decreases the occurrence of complications and has been widely used for clinical treatment of unstable intertrochanteric femur fracture *** this work,we developed an equivalent biomechanical model to analyze improvement in bone remodeling of unstable intertrochanteric femur fracture through PFBN *** results show that compared with proximal femoral nail antirotation(PFNA)and InterTan,PFBN can dramatically decrease the maximum strain in the proximal *** on Frost’s mechanostat theory,the local mechanical environment in the proximal femur can be regulated into the medium overload region by using a PFBN,which may render the proximal femur in a state of physiological overload,favoring post-operative recovery of intertrochanteric femur fracture in the *** work shows that PFBN may constitute a panacea for unstable intertrochanteric femur fracture and provides insights into improving methods of internal fixation.

Background Implantable cardioverter defibrillator （ICD） is the only effective therapy in patients with life threatening ventricular arrhythmias. Inappropriate detection and therapy by ICDs are the most common causes of side effects that affect the quality of life in ICD recipients. This study evaluated the incidence and causes of inappropriate detection and therapy by ICDs in patients in our hospital. Methods From January 2000 to December 2005, fifty patients who received ICD implantation for ventricular arrhythmias for prevention of sudden cardiac death were evaluated in this study. Each ICD was programmed using clinical arrhythmic and cardiac data of the patient before discharge. Patients were followed up by standard schedule after implantation and all data retrieved from each device were collected and saved for further analysis. Results No arrhythmic event was detected in 12/50 （24%） patients during the period of follow-up. Among the remaining patients, 11 （22%） experienced inappropriate detections and therapies during follow-up in this study. ICD detected 383 ventricular tachyarrhythmia （VT） and 108 ventricular fibrillation （VF） episodes and delivered 678 therapies. In VT group, ICD delivered 413 antitachycardiac pacings （ATPs） and 118 shocks, among which 78 ATPs and 9 shocks were initiated by 55/383 （14.3%） inappropriate detections. In VF group ICD delivered 147 shocks, among which 56 shocks were initiated by 28/108 （26.9%） inappropriate detections. Overall, more than 50% of these episodes were caused by atrial fibrillation （AF） with rapid ventricular response, followed by electromagnetic or myopotential interference. In addition, most inappropriate therapies occurred within one year after ICD implantation. Conclusions About one fifth of patients experienced ICD inappropriate detection and therapy after implantation. The main cause was AF with rapid ventricular response, followed by electromagnetic or myopotential interference.

Dear Editor, Complex chromosome rearrangements （CCRs） are structural aberrations involving at least three chromosomes with three or more chromosomal breakpoints. CCRs are very rare events in the human population. As reviewed by Pellestor et al.,1 less than 255 cases of CCRs involving three or more chromosomes have been reported. In China, approximately 136 cases of CCRs, including 40 males with reproductive problems, have been reported up to the time this review was compiled.

A 3D mathematical model was proposed to investigate the molten steel–slag–air multiphase flow in a two-strand slab continuous casting(CC)tundish during ladle *** study focused on the exposure of the molten steel and the subsequent reoxidation *** exposure of the molten steel was calculated using the coupled realizable k–εmodel and volume of fluid(VOF)*** diffusion of dissolved oxygen was determined by solving the user-defined scalar(UDS)***,the user-defined function(UDF)was used to describe the source term in the UDS equation and determine the oxidation rate and oxidation *** effect of the refilling speed on the molten steel exposure and dissolved oxygen content was also *** the refilling speed during ladle change reduced the refilling time and the exposure duration of the molten ***,the elevated refilling speed enlarged the slag eyes and increased the average dissolved oxygen content within the tundish,thereby exacerbating the reoxidation *** addition,the time required for the molten steel with a high dissolved oxygen content to exit the tundish varied with the refilling *** the inlet speed was 3.0 m·s^(-1)during ladle change,the molten steel with a high dissolved oxygen content exited the outlet in a short period,reaching a maximum dissolved oxygen content of 0.000525wt%.Conversely,when the inlet speed was 1.8 m·s^(-1),the maximum dissolved oxygen content was 0.000382wt%.The refilling speed during the ladle change process must be appropriately decreased to minimize reoxidation effects and enhance the steel product quality.

Single-particle aerosol mass spectrometry was used to study the characteristics of Fecontaining particles during winter in chengdu,southwest *** mass concentrations of PM_(2.5)and PM_(10)during the study period were 64±38 and 89±49μg/m~3,respectively,and NO_(2)and particulate matter were high compared with most other regions of *** Fecontaining particles were divided into seven categories with different mass spectra,sources and aging *** highest contribution was from Fe mixed with carbonaceous components(Fe-C,23.1%)*** was more mixed with sulfate than nitrate and therefore the contribution of Fe mixed with sulfate(Fe-S,20.7%)particles was higher than that of Fe mixed with nitrate(Fe-N,12.5%)*** contributions from Fe-containing particles related to primary combustion were high in the small particle size range,whereas aged Fecontaining particles and dust-related particles were mostly found in the coarse particle size *** air masses mainly originated from the west and east of chengdu,and the corresponding PM_(2.5)concentrations were 79±36 and 55±36μg/m~3,*** west and east air masses showed stronger contributions of Fe-containing particles related to biomass burning(Fe-B)and fossil fuel combustion(Fe-C and Fe-S)particles,*** southwest area contributed the most Fe-containing *** assessments of the effects of Fe-containing particles during heavy pollution period should pay more attention to Fe-C and Fe-S ***-reduction of Fe-containing particles should consider both local emissions and short-distance transmission from the surrounding areas.
