Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)h ave attracted widespread attention due to their large surface area and porous *** designing the nanostructures of MOFs to promote their application in ethanol electrooxidation is still a ***,a novel Cu-NCNs(Cu-nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes)support was synthesized by pyrolysis of melamine(MEL)and Cu-ZIF-8 together,and then,Pd-Au nanoalloys were loaded by sodium borohydride reduction method to prepare PdAu@Cu-NCNs *** generating mesoporous carbon with high specific surface area and favorable electron and mass transport can be used as a potential excellent carrier for PdAu *** addition,the balance of catalyst composition and surface structure was tuned by controlling the content of Pd and ***,the best-performed Pd_(2)Au_(2)@Cu-NCN-1000-2(where 1000 means the carrier calcination temperature,and 2 means the calcination constant temperature time)catalyst exhibits better long-term stability and electrochemical activity for ethanol oxidation in alkaline media(4.80 A·mg^(-1)),which is 5.05 times higher than that of commercial Pd/C(0.95 A·mg^(-1)).Therefore,this work is beneficial to further promoting the application of MOFs in direct ethanol fuel cells(DEFCs)and can be used as inspiration for the design of more efficient catalyst support structures.

The recently discovered ATi_(3)Bi_(5)(A=Cs,Rb)exhibit intriguing quantum phenomena including superconductivity,electronic nematicity,and abundant topological ***_(3)Bi_(5)present promising platforms for studying kagome superconductivity,band topology,and charge orders in parallel with *** this work,we comprehensively analyze various properties of ATi_(3)Bi_(5)covering superconductivity under pressure and doping,band topology under pressure,thermal conductivity,heat capacity,electrical resistance,and spin Hall conductivity(SHC)using first-principles *** superconducting transition temperature(Tc)of CsTi_(3)Bi_(5)and RbTi_(3)Bi_(5)at ambient pressure are about 1.85 and 1.92 *** subject to pressure,Tc of CsTi_(3)Bi_(5)exhibits a special valley and dome shape,which arises from quasi-two-dimensional compression to three-dimensional isotropic compression within the context of an overall decreasing ***,Tc of RbTi_(3)Bi_(5)can be effectively enhanced up to 3.09 K by tuning the kagome van Hove singularities(VHSs)and flat band through *** can also induce abundant topological surface states at the Fermi energy(EF)and tune VHSs across ***,our transport calculations are in excellent agreement with recent experiments,confirming the absence of charge density ***,SHC of CsTi_(3)Bi_(5)can reach up to 226h·(e·Ω·cm)^(-1)at *** work provides a timely and detailed analysis of the rich physical properties for ATi_(3)Bi_(5),offering valuable insights for further experimental verifications and investigations in this field.

With the trend of multiple energies or flexible demand in power systems,binary variables appear in systemwide constraints,which are the foundation of marginal pricing currently in *** appropriate pricing method incentivizes compliance of market participants;otherwise,compliance can be incentivized by paying discriminatory uplift payments which jeopardize transparency of *** paper proposes two theorems to examine whether the binary variables brought by multiple energies and flexible demand will impact compliance under marginal *** first theorem shows sufficient conditions with which marginal pricing with fixed binary variables incentivizes compliance,while the second theorem shows sufficient conditions to require uplift *** improve transparency by reducing uplift payments under cases which fall into the second theorem,this paper further proposes a pricing method by combining 1)designed constraints to price binary variables in system-wide constraints,and 2)convex hull pricing to price binary variables in private *** of the proposed theorems and pricing method is verified in an electricity-gas case(consisting of the IEEE 30-bus system and the NGS 10-node system)and the IEEE 118-bus test system.

A new fluorocarbon adhesive:Inhibiting agglomeration during combustion of propellant via efficient F-Al_(2)O_(3) preignition reaction

Inhibiting the agglomeration of molten aluminum particles packed in the binder network is a promising scheme to achieve efficient combustion of solid *** this investigation,the hydroxyl-terminated structured fluorinated alcohol compound(PFD)was introduced to modify the traditional polyethylene glycol/polytetrahydrofuran block copolymerization(HTPE)binder;that is,a unique fluorinated polyether(FTPE)binder was synthesized by embedding fluorinated organic segments into the HTPE binder via crosslinking *** FTPE was applied in aluminum-based propellants for the first *** to the complete release of fluorinated organic active segments in the range of 300℃to 400℃,the burning rate of FTPEbased propellant increased from 4.07(0%PFD)to 6.36 mm/s(5%PFD),increased by 56.27%under 1 *** reaction heat of FTPE propellants increased from 5.95(0%PFD)to 7.18 MJ/kg(5%PFD)under 3.0 MPa,indicating that HTPE binder modified with PFD would be conducive to inhibiting the D90 of condensed combustion products(CCPs)dropped by 81.84%from 75.46(0%PFD)to 13.71μm(5%PFD)under 3.0 MPa,in consistent with the significant reduction of aluminum agglomerates observed on the quenched burning surface of the *** results demonstrated that a novel FTPE binder with PFD can release fluorinated organic active segments,which motivate preignition reaction with the alumina shell in the early stage of aluminum combustion,and then enhance the melting diffusion effect of aluminum to inhibit the agglomeration.

Design of low-frequency circular metastructure isolators with high-load-bearing capacity

Traditional vibration isolation structures cannot work effectively for low-frequency vibration under heavy loads,due to the inherent contradiction between the high-static and lowdynamic stiffness of these *** the challenge can be effectively addressed by introducing a negative stiffness mechanism,the existing structures inevitably have complex ***,a class of man-made structures with both extraordinary mechanical properties and simple configurations,provide a new insight for low-frequency vibration isolation *** this paper,circular metastructure isolators consisting of some simple beams are designed for low-frequency vibration,including a single-layer isolator and a double-layer isolator,and their static and dynamic characteristics are studied,*** the static characteristic,the force–displacement and stiffness–displacement curves are obtained by finite element simulation;for the dynamic characteristic,the vibration transmissibility curves are obtained analytically and *** result shows that the circular nonlinear single-layer isolator has excellent lowfrequency isolation performance,and the isolation frequency band will decrease about 20 Hz when the isolated mass is fixed at 1.535 kg,compared with a similar circular linear *** static and dynamic properties are well verified through *** work provides an innovative approach for the low-frequency vibration isolation and has wide potential applications in aeronautics.

Reinforcement Learning Based Quantization Strategy Optimal Assignment Algorithm for Mixed Precision

The quantization algorithm compresses the original network by reducing the numerical bit width of the model,which improves the computation speed. Because different layers have different redundancy and sensitivity to databit width. Reducing the data bit width will result in a loss of accuracy. Therefore, it is difficult to determinethe optimal bit width for different parts of the network with guaranteed accuracy. Mixed precision quantizationcan effectively reduce the amount of computation while keeping the model accuracy basically unchanged. In thispaper, a hardware-aware mixed precision quantization strategy optimal assignment algorithm adapted to low bitwidth is proposed, and reinforcement learning is used to automatically predict the mixed precision that meets theconstraints of hardware resources. In the state-space design, the standard deviation of weights is used to measurethe distribution difference of data, the execution speed feedback of simulated neural network accelerator inferenceis used as the environment to limit the action space of the agent, and the accuracy of the quantization model afterretraining is used as the reward function to guide the agent to carry out deep reinforcement learning training. Theexperimental results show that the proposed method obtains a suitable model layer-by-layer quantization strategyunder the condition that the computational resources are satisfied, and themodel accuracy is effectively *** proposed method has strong intelligence and certain universality and has strong application potential in thefield of mixed precision quantization and embedded neural network model deployment.

A novel method for vibration signal transmission and attenuation analysis in complex planetary gearboxes

Planetary gearboxes play a crucial role in altering rotary speed and transmitting power in large machines like wind turbines and sophisticated vehicles. There are many nonlinear interfaces, such as splines, bearings, and gear pairs, in planetary gearboxes, and the resulting vibration signal transmission and attenuation mechanisms are still unknown. In this study, a novel method for quantitatively analyzing the transmission and attenuation of vibration signals is proposed. A multibody dynamic model of the planetary gearbox considering nonlinear gear meshing is presented and experimentally validated. To avoid the interference of foundation vibration on the transmission of the fault signal, the fault impact factor(FIF) is used to describe the intensity of the failure, which aligns well with the experimental signals. Based on the FIF, the vibration signal attenuation of nonlinear interfaces such as splines, bearings, and gear meshing interfaces is quantitatively evaluated. To clarify the transfer paths of fault vibration signals inside the gearbox, the transfer path area method(TPAM) based on FIF is proposed. According to the simulated results,the primary transfer paths of fault vibration signals within the gearbox have been identified, which is of great help in understanding the transmission and attenuation of vibration signals in planetary gearboxes.

Hydralazine represses Fpn ubiquitination to rescue injured neurons via competitive binding to UBA52

A major impedance to neuronal regeneration after peripheral nerve injury (PNI) is the activation of various programmed cell death mechanisms in the dorsal root ganglion. Ferroptosis is a form of programmed cell death distinguished by imbalance in iron and thiol metabolism, leading to lethal lipid peroxidation. However, the molecular mechanisms of ferroptosis in the context of PNI and nerve regeneration remain unclear. Ferroportin (Fpn), the only known mammalian nonheme iron export protein, plays a pivotal part in inhibiting ferroptosis by maintaining intracellular iron homeostasis. Here, we explored in vitro and in vivo the involvement of Fpn in neuronal ferroptosis. We first delineated that reactive oxygen species at the injury site induces neuronal ferroptosis by increasing intracellular iron via accelerated UBA52-driven ubiquitination and degradation of Fpn, and stimulation of lipid peroxidation. Early administration of the potent arterial vasodilator, hydralazine (HYD), decreases the ubiquitination of Fpn after PNI by binding to UBA52, leading to suppression of neuronal cell death and significant acceleration of axon regeneration and motor function recovery. HYD targeting of ferroptosis is a promising strategy for clinical management of PNI.

Preparation of maximally-entangled states with multiple cat-state qutrits in circuit QED

In recent years,cat-state encoding and high-dimensional entanglement have attracted much ***,previous works are limited to generation of entangled states of cat-state qubits(two-dimensional entanglement with cat-state encoding),while how to prepare entangled states of cat-state qutrits or qudits(high-dimensional entanglement with cat-state encoding)has not been *** here propose to generate a maximally-entangled state of multiple cat-state qutrits(three-dimensional entanglement by cat-state encoding)in circuit *** entangled state is prepared with multiple microwave cavities coupled to a superconducting flux ququart(a four-level quantum system).This proposal operates essentially by the cavity-qutrit dispersive *** circuit hardware resource is minimized because only a coupler ququart is *** higher intermediate level of the ququart is occupied only for a short time,thereby decoherence from this level is greatly suppressed during the state ***,the state preparation time does not depend on the number of the qutrits,thus it does not increase with the number of the *** an example,our numerical simulations demonstrate that,with the present circuit QED technology,the high-fidelity preparation is feasible for a maximally-entangled state of two cat-state ***,we numerically analyze the effect of the inter-cavity crosstalk on the scalability of this *** proposal is universal and can be extended to accomplish the same task with multiple microwave or optical cavities coupled to a natural or artificial four-level atom.
