Impacts of proppant distribution on development of tight oil reservoirs with threshold pressure gradient

Field evidence indicates that proppant distribution and threshold pressure gradient have great impacts on well *** at the development of unconventional oil reservoirs in Triassic Chang-7 Unit,Ordos Basin of China,we presented an integrated workflow to investigate how(1)proppant placement in induced fracture and(2)non-linear flow in reservoir matrix would affect well productivity and fluid flow in the *** with our research before(Yue et al.,2020),here we extended this study into the development of multi-stage fractured horizontal wells(MFHWs)with large-scale complicated fracture *** integrated workflow is based on the finite element method and consists of simulation models for proppant-laden fluid flow,fracture flow,and non-linear seepage flow,*** results indicate that the distribution of proppant inside the induced cracks significantly affects the productivity of the *** we assign an idealized proppant distribution instead of the real distribution,there will be an overestimation of 44.98%in daily oil rate and 30.63%in cumulative oil production after continuous development of 1000 ***,threshold pressure gradient(TPG)also significantly affects the well performance in tight oil *** we simply apply linear Darcy’s law to the reservoir matrix,the overall cumulative oil production can be overrated by 77%after 1000 days of *** general,this research provides new insights into the development of tight oil reservoirs with TPG and meanwhile reveals the significance of proppant distribution and non-linear fluid flow in the production scenario design.

Stable carbon isotope composition and intrinsic water use efficiency in plants along an altitudinal gradient on the eastern slope of Yulong Snow Mountain, China

Background Stable carbon isotope composition(δ13Cp) can be used to estimate the changes in intrinsic water use efficiency（iWUE） in plants,which helps us to better understand plants' response strategies to climate *** study focused on the variations in δ13Cpand iWUE for the different life-form plants（i.e.,herbs,shrubs,and trees）along an altitudinal gradient（3300,3600,3900,4100,4300,and 4500 m） on the eastern slope of Yulong Snow Mountain,southeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet *** response mechanisms of δ13Cpand iWUE for different life-form plants to altitude were thoroughly analyzed in this mountain *** The δ13Cpvalues of plants on the eastern slopes of Yulong Snow Mountain ranged from-30.4‰to-26.55‰,with a mean of-28.02‰,indicating a dominance of *** δ13Cpand iWUE values varied among different life-form plants in the order of herbs> shrubs> trees,particularly in 3600,3900,and 4300 ***δ13Cpand iWUE values for herbs and shrubs increased with altitude and were mainly controlled by air *** two parameters for trees exhibited a trend of initial decrease followed by an increase with *** 3900 m,the δ13Cpand iWUE values decreased with altitude,influenced by soil ***,above 3900 m,the two parameters increased with altitude,mainly regulated by air *** addition,iWUE was positively correlated with leaf P content but negatively correlated with leaf N:P ratio,especially for herbs and trees,suggesting that P plays a key role in modulating iWUE in this *** The diffe rentiated responses of water availability for different life-form plants to a higher altitudinal gradient are regulated by air temperature,soil moisture,and leaf P content in the Yulong Snow *** results provide valuable insights into understanding the wate r-carbon relationships in high-altitude ecosystems.

Fractional molecular field theory(FMFT)is a phenomenological theory that describes phase transitions in crystals with randomly distributed components,such as the relaxor-ferroelectrics and spin *** order to verify the feasibility of this theory,this paper fits it to the Monte Carlo simulations of specific heat and susceptibility versus temperature of two-dimensional(2D)random-site Ising model(2D-RSIM).The results indicate that the FMFT deviates from the 2D-RSIM *** main reason for the deviation is that the 2D-RSIM is a typical system of component random distribution,where the real order parameter is spatially heterogeneous and has no symmetry of space translation,but the basic assumption of FMFT means that the parameter is spatially uniform and has symmetry of space translation.

The plant hormone jasmonate(JA)regulates plant growth and immunity by orchestrating a genome-wide transcriptional *** the resting stage,JASMONATE-ZIM DOMAIN(JAZ)proteins act as main repressors to regulate the expression of JA-responsive genes in the JA signaling ***,the mechanisms underlying de-repression of JA-responsive genes in response to JA treatment remain ***,we report two nuclear factor Y transcription factors NF-YB2 and NF-YB3(thereafter YB2 and YB3)play key roles in such de-repression in ***2 and YB3 function redundantly and positively regulate plant resistance against the necrotrophic pathogen Botrytis cinerea,which are specially required for transcriptional activation of a set of JA-responsive genes following ***,YB2 and YB3 modulated their expression through direct occupancy and interaction with histone demethylase Ref6 to remove repressive histone ***,YB2 and YB3 physically interacted with JAZ repressors and negatively modulated their abundance,which in turn attenuated the inhibition of JAZ proteins on the transcription of JA-responsive genes,thereby activating JA response and promoting disease ***,our study reveals the positive regulators of YB2 and YB3 in JA signaling by positively regulating transcription of JA-responsive genes and negatively modulating the abundance of JAZ proteins.

Background:Mufangji tang(MFJT)is composed of Ramulus Cinnamomi,Radix Ginseng,Cocculus orbiculatus(Linn.)DC.,and *** clinical settings,MFJT has been effectively employed in addressing a range of respiratory disorders,notably including pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH).However,the mechanism of action of MFJT on PAH remains ***:In this study,a monocrotaline-induced PAH rat model was established and treated with *** therapeutic effects of MFJT on PAH rat model were *** pharmacology was conducted to screen the possible targets for MFJT on PAH,and the molecular docking between the main active components and the core targets was carried *** key targets identified from network pharmacology were ***:Results showed significant therapeutic effects of MFJT on PAH rat *** of network pharmacology revealed several potential targets related to apoptosis,inflammation,oxidative stress,and vascular *** docking showed that the key components were well docked with the core *** experimental validation results that MFJT treatment induced apoptosis(downregulated Bcl-2 levels and upregulated Bax levels in lung tissue),inhibited inflammatory response and oxdative stress(decreased the levels of IL-1β,TNF-α,inducible NOS,and malondialdehyde,and increased the levels of endothelial nitric oxide synthase,nitric oxide,glutathione and superoxide dismutase),reduced the proliferation of pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells(downregulated ET-1 andβ-catenin levels and ERK1/2 phosphorylation,increased GSK3βlevels).Conclusion:Our study revealed MFJT treatment could alleviate PAH in rats via induction of apoptosis,inhibition of inflammation and oxidative stress,and the prevention of vascular remodeling.

为了如何充分挖掘数据本身的信息来合理抽象医疗过程,发现可解释的、定位更准确的医疗异常,在考虑医疗数据的语义、次序和频率信息的基础上,提出一种改进的医疗过程异常发现方案。假设大多数医生按正常程序诊疗,只有少数异常。首先利用LDA主题模型对诊疗活动进行主题聚类,得到患者每天的诊疗主题分布;然后,基于此分布利用K-means++对天进行聚类,以聚类结果标识患者的每一天;最后,以天为单位利用IMi挖掘到的过程模型作为大多数患者遵循的诊疗过程,通过基于对齐的合规性检查发现异常行为的位置和异常程度。实验结果表明,所提方案能够得到可解释的、定位更准确的医疗异常,可以辅助医保审查。

RNA-binding proteins(RBPs)-RNA networks have contributed to cancer *** RNAs(circRNAs)are considered as protein recruiters;nevertheless,the patterns of circRNA-protein interactions in colorectal cancer(CRC)are still *** bodies(PBs)formed through liquid-liquid phase separation(LLPS)are membrane-less organelles(MLOs)consisting of RBPs and *** evidence suggests a connection between PBs dynamics and cancer *** the increasingly acknowledged crucial role of RBPs and RNA in the accumulation and maintenance of MLOs,there remains a lack of specific research on the interactions between PBs-related RBPs and circRNAs in ***,we identify that MEX-3 RNA binding family member A(MEX3A),frequently upregulated in CRC tissues,predicts poorer patient *** MEX3A accelerates malignance and inhibits autophagy of CRC ***,MEX3A undergoes intrinsically disordered regions(IDRs)-dependent LLPS in the ***,circMPP6 acts as a scaffold to facilitate the interaction between MEX3A and PBs *** MEX3A/circMPP6 complex modulates PBs dynamic and promotes UPF-mediated phosphodiesterase 5A(PDE5A)mRNA degradation,consequently leading to the aggressive properties of CRC ***,CRC patients exhibiting high MEX3A expression and low PDE5A expression have the poorest overall *** findings reveal a collaboration between MEX3A and circMPP6 in the regulation of mRNA decay through triggering the PBs aggregation,which provides prognostic markers and/or therapeutic targets for CRC.

Alterations in Serum Lipids and Lipoproteins Induced by Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Patients with Osteosarcoma around the Knee Joint:A Retrospective Analysis

Objective:To investigate the serum lipid profiles of patients with localized osteosarcoma around the knee joint before and after neoadjuvant ***:After retrospectively screening the data of 742 patients between January 2007 and July 2020,50 patients aged 13 to 39 years with Enneking stage Ⅱ disease were included in the *** lipid levels,including total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),lipoprotein-α[Lp(a)],and apolipoprotein Al,B,and E(ApoA1,ApoB,and ApoE),and clinicopathological characteristics were collected before and after neoadjuvant ***:The mean levels of TC,TG,and ApoB were significantly increased following neoadjuvant chemotherapy(16％,38％,and 20％,respectively,*** values;P＜0.01).The mean levels of LDL-C and ApoE were also 19％and 16％higher,respectively(P＜0.05).No correlation was found between the pretreatment lipid profile and the histologic response to *** increase in Lp(a)was strongly correlated with the Ki-67 index(R=0.31,P=0.023).Moreover,a trend toward longer disease-free survival(DFS)was observed in patients with decreased TG and increased LDL-C following chemotherapy,although this difference was not statistically significant(P=0.23 and P=0.24,respectively).Conclusion:Significant elevations in serum lipids were observed after neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with localized *** was no prognostic significance of pretreatment serum lipid levels on histologic response to neoadjuvant *** scale of increase in serum Lp(a)might have a potential prognostic role in *** with increased LDL-C or reduced TG after chemotherapy seem to exhibit a trend toward favorable DFS.
