Phenology and classification of abandoned agricultural land based on ALOS-1 and 2 PALSAR multi-temporal measurements

Agricultural crop abandonment negatively impacts local economy and environment since land,as a resource for agriculture,is not optimally *** take necessary actions to rehabilitate abandoned agricultural lands,the identification of the spatial distribution of these lands must be *** optical images had previously illustrated potentials in the identification of agricultural land abandonment,tropical areas often suffer cloud coverage problem that limits the availability of the ***,this study was conducted to investigate the potential of ALOS-1 and 2(Advanced Land Observing Satellite-1 and 2)PALSAR(Phased Array L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar)images for the identification and classification of abandoned agricultural crop areas,namely paddy,rubber and oil palm *** crop phenology for paddy and rubber was identified from ALOS-1 PALSAR;nonetheless,oil palm did not demonstrate any useful phenology for discriminating between the abandoned *** accuracy obtained for these abandoned lands of paddy,rubber and oil palm was 93.33%±0.06%,78%±2.32%and 63.33%±1.88%,*** study confirmed that the understanding of crop phenology in relation to image date selection is essential to obtain high accuracy for classifying abandoned and non-abandoned agricultural *** finding also portrayed that PALSAR offers a huge advantage for application of vegetation in tropical areas.

Verrucous antral gastritis in relation to Helicobacter pylori infection,nutrition,and gastric atrophy

Background:There have been few studies in the English literature regarding verrucous gastritis(VG).The present study investigated the clinical and endoscopic features of verrucous antral gastritis,especially focusing on Helicobacter pylori infection,nutrition,and gastric ***:We performed a retrospective study of patients who underwent routine endoscopy with indigo carmine chromoendoscopy and a comparative study was conducted between VG-positive and VG-negative *** was subdivided into classical and numerous types based on the number and distribution of verrucous ***,clinical,and endoscopic data including body mass index(BMI),serum albumin and cholesterol,gastric atrophy,reflux oesophagitis,Barrett’s oesophagus,and *** status were *** and multivariable analyses were performed to identify factors associated with ***:We analysed the data of 621 patients undergoing routine endoscopy and found that VG(n=352)was significantly associated with increased BMI(1.12[1.05-1.18],P<0.01),reflux esophagitis(1.96[1.10-3.28],P<0.01),and *** negativity with or without a history of eradication(9.94[6.00-16.47]and 6.12[3.51-10.68],P<0.001,respectively).Numerous-type(n=163)VG was associated with both closed-and open-type gastric atrophy(9.9[4.04-21.37]and 8.10[3.41-19.24],P<0.001,respectively).There were no statistical differences between groups regarding age,sex,total cholesterol,albumin,and bile-colored gastric ***:Verrucous antral gastritis was related to increased BMI,reflux esophagitis,and *** ***-type verrucous lesions were associated with gastric *** indicate that VG may be a physiological phenomenon due to high gastric acidity,mechanical overload,and vulnerability of background mucosa.

This paper describes the propulsion principle using the concept of space drive and the pressure of the field induced by local rapid expansion of space based on the latest cosmology. Assuming that space vacuum is an infinite continuum, the propulsion principle utilizes the pressure field derived from the geometrical structure of space, by applying both continuum mechanics and general relativity to space. The propulsive force is a pressure thrust that arises from the interaction of space-time around the spaceship external environment and the spaceship itself; the spaceship is propelled by the pressure used against the space-time structure. As is well known in cosmology, the expansion rule of the universe is governed by the Friedman＇s equations and the Robertson-Walker metric. In this time, the propulsion principle of space drive is introduced from another angle （cosmology）, that is, the pressure of the field induced by local expansion of space is completely considered in the propulsion principle.

The acceleration mechanism of astrophysical jet and the collimation mechanism narrowing down to a long distance have been examined so far. It is a collimation problem of how to narrow the astrophysical jet narrowly. Further, the model of the astrophysical jet acceleration mechanism is required to solve this collimation problem at the same time as well as its acceleration. At the present time, the magnetic force model （magnetic centrifugal force and magnetic pressure） is regarded as the most dominant theory which solves the two problems of astrophysical jet acceleration and collimation at the same time. In addition to the present astrophysical jet narrow collimation mechanism by magnetic tension （pinch） force, in this article, another collimation mechanism which narrows down an astrophysical jet is newly introduced. That is, since a curvature is generated in the space around the astrophysical jet by magnetic field, a kind of pressure equivalent to the gravitational effect is generated in the direction of the interior of astrophysical jet as well as the pinch force from the outer circumferential surface of the astrophysical jet.
