High Decomposition Method of PFC

Initial experience with robot-assisted adrenalectomy for giant adrenal tumors

PFCs(Perfluoro compounds) is used as cleaning gas and etching gas at semiconductor industry. Exhausted PFC have strong effect to global worming. For example, exhausted CF4 have very long life at atmosphere (50,000 years), then it effect to global worming 6500 times compare with CO2. Recently, reduction of exhaust PFC is required. High decomposition method of PFC was developed in this research. CF4 have most strong bond among PFC, then CF4 was chosen to investigate of decomposition characterization of PFC.

Dear Editor,Adrenocortical carcinomas and adrenal cysts,including pseudocysts,are uncommon tumors[1,2].No consistent approach to surgery for large adrenal tumors including cysts,has been established,and especially when malignancy is suspected,consideration is still given to the option of *** robot-assisted surgery,we successfully performed the resection of a giant adrenal pseudocyst and a giant adrenocortical carcinoma,as reported previously[3],underlining the advantages of robot-assisted surgery for large adrenal tumors.

γ-Butyrolactone structures are commonly found in various natural products and serve as crucial building blocks in organic ***,the development of methods for synthesizingγ-butyrolactones has garnered significant interest within the organic synthesis *** this study,we present a direct and highly efficient approach for the synthesis ofγ-butyrolactones from allylic ***,this study represents the first instance ofγ-butyrolactone synthesis initiated by radical hydrocarboxylation using CO_(2)^(•–),generated from metal formates,followed by *** two-step process is achieved through the synergistic interaction of photoredox and hydrogen atom transfer(HAT)catalysis,resulting in the production ofγ-butyrolactones with exceptional ***,when employingα,α-diaryl allylic alcohol derivatives as substrates,the reaction involves 1,2-aryl migration,which occurs concomitantly with CO_(2)^(•–)addition,leading to the formation of 4,5-substituted lactones in a good *** artificial force induced reaction(AFIR)method identified the preferred 1,2-aryl migration pathway along with potential byproduct pathways,in which the targeted 1,2-migration was found to be the most plausible pathway.

Understanding what environmental factors are genetically linked to a phenologic al event is critical for predicting responses to climate *** synthetic phenology often varies among a species of evergreen conifers due to local ***,few empirical studies have revealed relevant relationships between climatic factors in provenance environments and photosynthetic *** study evaluated the effects of environmental conditions of the growing site and seed source provenance on the seasonal changes in maximal photochemical quantum yield of photo systemⅡ(Fv/Fm)in a common garden experiment with 2-year-old seedlings of Sakhalin fir(Abies sachalinensis),a representative species with local adaptation,from four seed source provenances.A logistic model was constructed to explain the seasonal variation of Fv/Fmfrom July to October and the relationships between the estimated model parameters and representative factors featuring provenance environments were *** landscape gradient of the detected model parameters responsible for the provenance environments was visualized in a map of the distribution *** lowest temperature was the most plausible factor in the growing environment to explain the seasonal changes of Fv/*** the representative meteorological factors of provenance environments,the lowest temperatures in July showed significant relationships with two model parameters,explaining the lower limit of Fv/Fmand the higher sensitivity of autumn Fv/*** estimated spatial maps of model parameters consistently showed that the higher the lowest temperature in July in the provenance environment,the lower the Fv/Fmin October and the greater the decrease in the autumn Fv/***,the lowest summer temperature could be associated with the local adaptation of autumn photosynthetic phenology in ***.

The phase transitions in Pd40Ni10Cu30P20 bulk metallic glass (BMG) have been studied under high pressure and high temperature (HP & HT) by X-ray diffraction measurements with synchrotron radiation source. We found that the BMG underwent a phase transitions of amorphous-crystalline-amorphous at 10 GPa upon heating. The parallel experiments were carried out at 7 GPa, while we did not observe the amorphous-crystalline-amorphous transitions by increasing temperature. Quenching the melted BMG at 7 GPa, it was found that the phase crystallized from the melt differed from the primary phase crystallized from the starting amorphous solid upon heating, suggesting there existed a distinct mechanism in two cases.

Chemosensor arrays have a great potential for on-site applications in real-world ***,to fabricate on chemosensor array a number of chemosensors are required to obtain various optical patterns for multianalyte ***,we propose a minimized chemosensor array composed of only two types of carboxylate-functionalized polythiophene derivatives for the detection of eight types of metal *** recognition of the metal ions,the polythiophenes exhibited changes in their fluorescence intensity and various spectral *** both chemosensors have the same polymer backbone and recognition moiety,only the difference in the number of methylene groups contributed to the difference in the fluorescence response ***,the metal ions in aqueous media were successfully discriminated qualitatively and quantitatively by the chemosensor microarray on the glass *** study offers an approach for achieving a minimized chemosensor array just by changing the alkyl chain lengths without the necessity for many receptors and reporters.

To feed an increasing population, large amounts of chemical nitrogen fertilizer have been used to produce much of our food, feed and fiber thereby increasing nitrogen levels in soils, natural waters, crop residues, livestock wastes,and municipal and agricultural wastes, with national and international concern about its potential adverse effects on environmental quality and public health. To understand these phenomena and problems, first the nitrogen cycle and the environment are described. Then recent trends for nitrogen cycling through the food and feed system, N2O emissions from fertilized upland and paddy soils, and NO-3 pollution in ground water in Japan are reported. Finally, mitigation strategies in Japan for reducing N2O emission and NO-3 pollution are proposed, including nitrification inhibitors, controlled release fertilizers, utilization of plant species that could suppress nitrification, utilizing the toposequence, government policy, and appropriate agricultural practices. Of all the technologies presented, use of nitrification inhibitors and controlled release fertilizers are deemed the most important with further development of these aspects of technologies being expected. These practices, if employed worldwide, could help reduce the load, or environmental deterioration, on the Earth's biosphere.

Graphene-coated silicon carbide(SiC@C)core-shell nanostructures have attracted attention in the fields of energy storage and *** this study,multilayer graphene-coated silicon carbide(SiC)nanowires were obtained through the laser irradiation of a mixture target of graphite powder and silicon(Si)grinding sludge discharged from Si wafer *** irradiation was performed using an ytterbium(Yb)fiber pulsed laser with a pulse width of 10 ms and a wavelength of 1070 nm with various defocus *** effect of laser defocusing on the morphology of the generated nanostructures was *** showed that nanowires were produced under the defocused conditions,and nanoparticles were observed at the on-focus *** products obtained under all defocused conditions showed a core-shell structure,and the SiC nanowires were covered by graphene *** aspect ratio of the nanowires increased with the defocus *** of the laser-induced plume using a high-speed camera showed that when the laser was defocused,the plume propagation speed slowed down,and the shape of the plume changed to a swirling *** nanowire formation was closely related to the propagation speed and shape variation of the *** successful production of SiC@C core-shell nanowires from Si waste opens up the possibility of the sustainable development of new materials for energy storage and nanoelectronics.

Forest cover monitoring plays an important role in the implementation of climate change mitigation policies such as Kyoto protocol and Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation(REDD).In this study,we have monitored land cover using the PALSAR(Phased Array type L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar)full polarimetric data based on incoherent target *** classification technique has been applied on CloudePottier decomposition,FreemanDurden three component,and Yamaguchi four component decomposition for accurate mapping of different types of land cover *** on confusion matrix derived from the predicted and defined pixels,the evergreen and sparsely deciduous forests have shown high producer’s accuracy by FreemanDurden three component and Yamaguchi four component classifica*** overall accuracy of Maximum Likelihood Classification by Yamaguchi four component is 94.1%with 0.93 kappa coefficient as compared to the 90.3%with 0.88 kappa coefficient by FreemanDurden three component and 89.7%with 0.88 kappa coefficient by CloudePottier *** accuracy of classification in a forested area using full polarimetric PALSAR data may have been because of high penetration of L-band *** content of this study could be useful for the forest cover mapping during cloudy days needed for proper implementation of REDD policies in Cambodia.
