In this paper, we propose a bias-corrected empirical likelihood （BCEL） ratio to construct a goodness- of-fit test for generalized linear mixed models. BCEL test maintains the advantage of empirical likelihood that is self scale invariant and then does not involve estimating limiting variance of the test statistic to avoid deteri- orating power of test. Furthermore, the bias correction makes the limit to be a process in which every variable is standard chi-squared. This simple structure of the process enables us to construct a Monte Carlo test proce- dure to approximate the null distribution. Thus, it overcomes a problem we encounter when classical empirical likelihood test is used, as it is asymptotically a functional of Gaussian process plus a normal shift function. The complicated covariance function makes it difficult to employ any approximation for the null distribution. The test is omnibus and power study shows that the test can detect local alternatives approaching the null at parametric rate. Simulations are carried out for illustration and for a comparison with existing method.

The Allan variance analysis method is used to identify the stochastic noise in the stray current sensor. The stray current characteristic is firstly introduced. Then the optical configuration and the signal processing method of the stray current sensor are illustrated. Moreover, the cause of the stochastic noise in the stray current sensor is analyzed. The calculation method of the stochastic noise coefficient is presented in detail. And the feasibility of the stochastic noise identification with the Allan variance analysis method is evaluated. Furthermore, the zero-drift signal acquisition experiment is conducted to identify the stochastic noise in the stray current sensor. According to the experimental result, the bias instability noise, the quantization noise and the white noise are identified as the major stochastic noise. Finally, the experiment on the direct-current signal acquisitions is conducted, whose results indicate that the signal drift of the measured direct-current is mainly caused by the major stochastic noise. And the suppression methods of the major stochastic noise are proposed.

为探究岩脉侵入角度对隧道开挖的影响,文章以泸石高速石棉隧道开挖时地层遭遇不同角度岩脉侵入为工程背景,通过UDEC离散元计算,总结岩脉侵入角度对隧道开挖的影响,给出有效处理措施,并得出以下结论:岩脉和被侵入岩体界面易发生塑性滑移,隧道开挖后岩脉区围岩变形最大,且岩脉区围岩有开裂、滑移和隆起现象,围岩变形随角度的减小而减小。边墙与仰拱连接处轴力、剪力、弯矩均最大,安全系数最小,三种工况均在0.3左右。衬砌轴力、剪力的最大值随角度减小而增大,弯矩受角度的影响较小。岩脉区域的安全系数在向着岩脉倾斜方向更小。岩脉侵入区域隧道开挖应采用岩脉区域局部注浆、封闭仰拱、增大衬砌厚度三种方法来加固围岩和提高衬砌承载能力。

The paramagnetic Meissner effect (PME) was observed on the field-cooled M-T curves of melt-textured Y0.99Nd0.01Ba2Cu3O7-y in applied magnetic fields from 1kOe to 40kOe. In the magnetic field below 1kOe, the sample undergoes the typical transition from the normal state to the superconducting state when it was cooled down. The applied magnetic fields in which the PME occurs, are very high compared with the fields reported in literatures. We propose that the occurrence of the PME may be due to a phase transition of flux vortices in the superconductors.

Analysis of three types of resistance gene analogs in Pm U region from Triticum urartu

Resistance gene analog(RGA) screening of mapped disease-resistant genes not only helps to clone these genes but also helps to develop efficient molecular markers for resistance breeding. The present study focused on the PmU region located on chromosome 7 Au L of Triticum urartu, and recently, a nucleotide binding site(NBS)-encoding gene, Pm60, was cloned from the same chromosome arm. In this research, NBS, protein kinase(PK), and ATP-binding cassette(ABC), the three disease resistance-related gene families, were analyzed within PmU region by using informatics tools, and an expression experiment was conducted to verify their functions in vivo. Comparative genomic analysis revealed that 126 RGAs were included on chromosome 7 Au L, and 30 of the RGAs as well as Pm60 were found in the Pm U region. Transcriptome database analysis of T. urartu revealed 14 PmU-RGAs with expression data, and three PmU-NBSs exhibited significant changes in expression after inoculation with Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici(Bgt); TRIUR314879 was up-regulated, while TRIUR300450 and TRIUR306270 were down-regulated. Cluster analysis showed that these three PmU-NBSs were clustered far from the cloned wheat resistance genes. Then, qRT-PCR was performed to investigate the expression of 14 PmU-RGAs and Pm60 after inoculation with Bgt race E09; the results showed that Pm60 was specifically expressed in UR206 which carrying PmU, but not in susceptible UR203; while TRIUR314879 was significantly up-regulated and TRIUR300450 was downregulated in UR206 after inoculation. These results indicated that PmU is Pm60, and TRIUR314879 and TRIUR300450 may also be involved in the defense against Bgt.

AIM: To investigate whether 15-Lipoxygenase-1 (15-LOX-1) plays an important role in the regulation of angiogenesis, inhibiting hypoxia-induced proliferation of retinal microvascular endothelial cells (RMVECs) and the underlying mechanism. METHODS: Primary RMVECs were isolated from the retinas of C57/BL63 mice and identified by an evaluation for FITC-marked CD31. The hypoxia models were established with the Bio-bag and evaluated with a blood-gas analyzer. Experiments were performed using RMVECs treated with and without transfer. Ad-15-LOX-1 or Ad-vector both under hypoxia and normoxia condition at 12, 24, 48, 72 hours. The efficacy of the gene transfer was assessed by immunofluorescence staining. Cells proliferation was evaluated by the CCK-8 method. RNA and protein expressions of 15-LOX-1, VEGF-A, VEGFR-2, eNOs and PPAR-r were analyzed by real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot. RESULTS: Routine evaluation for FITC-marked CD31 showed that cells were pure. The results of blood-gas analysis showed that when the cultures were exposed to hypoxia for more than 2 hours, the Po2 was 4.5 to 5.4 Kpa. We verified RMVECs could be infected with Ad-LS-LOX-for Ad-vectorvia Fluorescence microscopy. CCK-8 analysis revealed that the proliferative capacities of RMVECs in hypoxic group were significantly higher at each time point than they were in normoxic group (P <0.05). In a hypoxic condition, the proliferative capacities of RMVECs in 15-LOX-1 group were significantly inhibited (P<0.05). Real-time RT-PCR analysis revealed that the expressions of VEGF-A, VEGF-R2 and eNOs mRNA increased in hypoxia group compared with normoxia group (P<0.01). However, the expressions of 15-LOX-1, PPAR-r mRNA decreased in hypoxia group compared with normoxia group (P<0.01). It also showed that in a hypoxic condition, the expressions of VEGF-A, VEGF-R2 and eNOs mRNA decreased significantly in 15-LOX-1 group compared with hypoxia group (P<0.01). However, 15-LOX

A novel and reactive oxygen species(ROS)responsive astaxanthin phenylboronic acid derivative(AstaDPBA)was constructed by grafting phenylboronic acid(PBA)onto astaxanthin succinate diester(AstaD),and its chemical structure and physicochemical property were ***-PBA could effectively improve the ROS quenching ability in the lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced RAW264.7 cell inflammation ***,the bioactivity of AstaD-PBA was studied by 4 zebrafish ROS-responsive infl ammatory models induced by LPS,copper(Cu^(2+)),high-fat diet,and dextran sodium sulfate(DSS).The results suggest that AstaD-PBA might have high biosafety and the best effect on ulcerative colitis(UC)induced by ***,AstaDPBA significantly alleviated and treated weight loss and colonic shrinkage,inhibited infl ammatory cytokines,and maintained microbiota homeostasis to improve UC in C57BL/6J *** and Oscillibacter were expected to be considered UC marker fl ora according to the Metastats analysis and Pearson correlation Mantel test(P<0.01)of 16S rRNA gene sequencing *** conclusion,AstaD-PBA has been promised to be a functional compound to improve UC and maintain intestinal microbiota homeostasis.
