POLAR-2 is a gamma-ray burst(GRB)polarimeter that is designed to study the polarization in GRB radiation emissions,aiming to improve our knowledge of related ***-2 is expected to utilize an on-board polarimeter that is sensitive to soft X-rays(2-10 keV),called low-energy polarization *** have developed a new soft X-ray polari-zation detector prototype based on gas microchannel plates(GMCPs)and pixel chips(Topmetal).The GMCPs have bulk resistance,which prevents charging-up effects and ensures gain stability during *** detector is composed of low outgassing materials and is gas-sealed using a laser welding technique,ensuring long-term stability.A modulation factor of 41.28%±0.64% is obtained for a 4.5 keV polarized X-ray beam.A residual modulation of 1.96%±0.58% at 5.9 keV is observed for the entire sensitive area.

Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases(aaRSs)are ubiquitously expressed,essential enzymes,synthesizing aminoacyl-tRNAs for protein *** defects of aaRSs frequently cause various human *** KARS encodes both cytosolic and mitochondrial lysyl-tRNA synthetases(LysRSs).Previously,two mutations(c.1129 G>A and c.517 T>C)were identified that led to hearing impairment;however,the underlying biochemical mechanism is *** the present study,we found that the two mutations have no impact on the incorporation of LysRS into the multiple-synthetase complex in the cytosol,but affect the cytosolic LysRS level,its tertiary structure,and cytosolic tRNA aminoacylation in *** for mitochondrial translation,the two mutations have little effect on the steady-state level,mitochondrial targeting,and tRNA binding affinity of mitochondrial ***,they exhibit striking differences in charging mitochondrial tRNALys,with the c.517T>C mutant being completely deficient in vitro and in *** constructed two yeast genetic models,which are powerful tools to test the in vivo aminoacylation activity of KARS mutations at both the cytosolic and mitochondrial ***,our data provided biochemical insights into the potentially molecular pathological mechanism of KARS c.1129G>A and c.517T>C mutations and provided yeast genetic bases to investigate other KARS mutations in the future.

Adaptive sliding mode output tracking control based-FODOB for a class of uncertain fractional-order nonlinear time-delayed systems

An adaptive sliding mode control(ASMC) method, based on fractional-order disturbance-observer(FODOB), is presented for a class of fractional-order nonlinear time-delay systems(FONTDS) with uncertainties to solve the target output tracking *** external disturbances are estimated by FODOB, and the unknown internal perturbations of the system are adaptively estimated by sliding mode control(SMC). Furthermore, Gronwall's inequality approach is used to ensure that the output tracking error is uniformly bounded for FONTDS. Firstly, a fractional-order sliding mode control(FOSMC) based FODOB is proposed for a fractional-order linear time-delay system(FOLTDS). Secondly, combined with adaptive estimation, the ASMC of FONTDS is studied. Finally, a numerical example of FONTDS is used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

In the present paper, on the basis of our work. advances in study of the catalysts of polyacid-type hydrotalcite-like are reported and *** polyoxometalates (POM) as pillaring species and layered double hydroxides (LDH) as host matter, a new class of catalytic materials, LDHPOM, has been synthesized by five different methods. Their acidic and oxidative catalytic properties have been investigated by several research groups. The above mentioned information is given in this review.

Dear Editor,In this letter,the recursive fault estimation issue is considered for nonlinear time-varying systems subject to the effects induced by energy harvesting sensors and uniform *** on the energy harvesting mechanism and stochastic distribution of the absorbed energy,the real-time occurrence probability of missing measurements is calculated *** research intends to develop a recursive estimator for the considered nonlinear time-varying system with energy harvesting sensors,such that,under uniform quantization effects,the state and fault can be jointly *** adopting the induction approach,an upper bound is firstly calculated for the estimation error covariances(EECs)of the state and ***,the value of the time-varying estimator parameter is computed through minimizing such calculated upper *** the end,an illustrative example is presented to verify the availability of the developed fault estimation method.

Quinoline-based colorimetric chemosensor for Cu^(2+): Cu^(2+)-induced deprotonation leading to color change

A quinoline-based colorimetric chemosensor （QDB） for Cu2＋ was synthesized by coupling quinoline-2- carbaldehyde with 4-（dimethylamino）benzohydrazide. Although most transition metal cations can cause redshiffs in the UV-vis spectrum of QDB, the response of the chemosensor for Cu2＋ can be easily distinguished because it exhibits the largest redshift together with a color change from colorless to red in response to Cu2＋. Other metal ions have no effect on the specific response of QDB to Cu2＋. The significant redshift and color change were attributed to Cu2＋-induced deprotonation of NH in the sensor.

Soliton Solutions in Three-Component bose-Einstein Condensates

We obtain soliton and plane wave solutions for the coupled nonlinear Schrotinger equations, which describe the dynamics of the three-component bose-Einstein condensates by using the Hirota method. Meanwhile we find that the system which has attractive atomic interaction will only possess a shape changing （inelastic） collision property due to intensity redistribution in the absence of the spin-exchange interaction. As a discussed example, we investigate the one-soliton, two-soliton solutions and collisional effects between bright two-soliotn solution, which lead to the intensity redistribu tion.
