A method of designing guided chain drive mechanism with linkage basing on the given motion track is expounded. The method consists of two steps that are synthesizing four bar linkage approximately first and then deducing guide track, removing crank and jointing free end with chain. An example of synthesis that can realize the given motion track precisely is provided.

Photocatalytic membranes have received increasing attention due to their excellent separation and photodegradation of organic contaminants in ***,we bound Ag-AgBr nanoparticles onto a synthesized polyacrylonitrile-ethanolamine(PAN-ETA)membrane with the aid of a chitosan(CS)-TiO_(2) layer via vacuum filtration and in-situ partial *** introduction of the CS-TiO_(2) layer improved surface hydrophilicity and provided attachment sites for the Ag-AgBr *** PAN-ETA/CS-Ti0_(2)/Ag-AgBr photocatalytic membranes showed a relatively high water permeation flux(〜47 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1)·bar^(-1))and dyes rejection(methyl orange:88.22%;congo red:95%;methyl blue:97.41%;rose bengal:99.98%).Additionally,the composite membranes exhibited potential long-term stability for dye/salt separation(dye rejection:-97%;salt rejection:-6.5%).Moreover,the methylene blue and rhodamine B solutions(20 mL,10 mg·L^(-1))were degraded approximately 90.75% and 96.81% in batch mode via the synthesized photocatalytic membranes under visible light irradiation for 30 *** study provides a feasible method for the combination of polymeric membranes and inorganic catalytic materials.

OBJECTIVE:To preliminary investigate the distribution of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)constitution among patients with allergic rhinitis(AR)and reveal the related factors with anxiety and ***:Between July 2020 and June 2021,specialist doctor recruited AR patients in Beijing and Shanghai.A total of 630 patients admitted to participate in the survey,and 516(81.9%)(male 54.3%,female 45.7%)participants completed the *** scales including Constitution in Chinese Medicine Questionnaire(CCMQ),Generalized Anxiety Disorder Questionnaire(GAD-7)and The Patient Health Queationaire-9(PHQ-9)were ***χ^(2)and the Fisher’s exact test were used to evaluate the classification data,multivariate logistic regression was used to explore the related factors of anxiety and ***:According to 516 AR patients,the most commonly first-constitution was Yang-deficiency(22.1%)and frequent of all constitutions was inherited-special(21.6%).One third of AR patients(33.5%)suffered from anxiety,nearly half of AR patients(46.5%)were found to be ***-special(27.7%)was the most common constitution in patients with anxiety whereas Yang-deficiency(26.7%)was most common constitution in patients with ***,duration of symptoms,balanced,Qi-deficiency,phlegm-dampness,Qi-stagnation,and inherited-special constitutions were related with anxiety;Sex,income,duration of symptoms,balanced,Qi-deficiency,Yang-deficiency,phlegm-dampness,Qi-stagnation,and inherited-special constitutions were related with ***:According to our study,the commonly constitution types of AR were Yang-deficiency and *** found that the prevalence value of anxiety and depression were *** with Qi-deficiency,phlegm-dampness,Qi-stagnation,and inherited-special constitutions were more likely to have mental problems than the *** these influential factors might be beneficial for clinical health management of AR pati

The Arabidopsis sporophytic tapetum undergoes a programmed degeneration process to secrete lipid and other materials to support pollen development. However, the molecular mechanism regulating the degeneration process is unknown. To gain insight into this molecular mechanism, we first determined that the most critical period for tapetal secretion to support pollen development is from the vacuolate microspore stage to the early binucleate pollen stage. We then analyzed the expression of enzymes responsible for lipid biosynthesis and degradation with available in-silico data. The genes for these enzymes that are expressed in the stamen but not in the concurrent uninucleate microspore and binucleate pollen are of particular interest, as they presumably hold the clues to unique molecular processes in the sporophytic tissues compared to the gametophytic tissue. No gene for lipid biosynthesis but a single gene encoding a patatin- like protein likely for lipid mobilization was identified based on the selection criterion. A search for genes co-expressed with this gene identified additional genes encoding typical signal transduction components such as a leucine-rich repeat receptor kinase, an extra-large G-protein, other protein kinases, and transcription factors. In addition, proteases, cell wall degradation enzymes, and other proteins were also identified. These proteins thus may be components of a signaling network leading to degradation of a broad range of cellular components. Since a broad range of degradation activities is expected to occur only in the tapetal degeneration process at this stage in the stamen, it is further hypothesized that the signaling network acts in the tapetal degeneration process.

Highly Conductive Proton Selectivity Membrane Enabled by Hollow Carbon Sieving Nanospheres for Energy Storage Devices

Ion conductive membranes(ICMs)with highly conductive proton selectivity are of significant importance and greatly desired for energy storage ***,it is extremely challenging to construct fast proton-selective transport channels in ***,a membrane with highly conductive proton selectivity was fabricated by incorporating porous carbon sieving nanospheres with a hollow structure(HCSNs)in a polymer *** to the precise ion sieving ability of the microporous carbon shells and the fast proton transport through their accessible internal cavities,this advanced membrane presented a proton conductivity(0.084 S·cm^(-1))superior to those of a commercial Nation 212(N212)membrane(0.033S·cm^(-1))and a pure polymer membrane(0.049 S·cm^(-1)).The corresponding proton selectivity of the membrane(6.68×10^(5) S·min·cm^(-3))was found to be enhanced by about 5.9-fold and 4.3-fold,respectively,compared with those of the N212 membrane(1.13×10^(5) S·min·cm^(-3))and the pure membrane(1.56×10^(5) S·min·cm^(-3)).Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance(LF-NMR)clearly revealed the fast protonselective transport channels enabled by the HCSNs in the polymeric *** proposed membrane exhibited an outstanding energy efficiency(EE)of 84%and long-term stability over 1400 cycles with a0.065%capacity decay per cycle at 120 mA·cm^(-2) in a typical vanadium flow battery(VFB)system.

Airborne particles and asthma: a biophysical model

Airborne particles can trigger asthma when reaching certain threshold concentrations that vary by a few to several thousand times among different particles. The underlying mechanism for the variation is unknown. Here, based on common knowledge and observations, we pro-pose that the potency of an airborne particle in causing asthma correlates positively with the weight of the particle and inversely with the friction coefficient between the particle and the airway epithelium. This model may lead to new approaches for investigating the asthma phe-nomenon, and to practical applications for re-ducing the prevalence of asthma.
