The influence of prox.0}selection on global annual mean temperature reconstructions during the Common Era

The reconstruction of global annual mean temperatures made by.the PAGES 2k Consortium in 2019 represents one of the most influential sequences of global climate variability.over the Common ***,it is still not clear how the reconstruction can be influenced by.the selection of reconstruction methods and the selection of prox.0}records with different temporal resolutions over different *** adopt a widely.used Composite-Plus-Scale method to elucidate the effects of the selection of the prox.0}records on temperature *** ensure the uniformity.of data,different ty.es of prox.0}records spanning the past~2000 y.ars from the PAGES 2k prox.0}network were used to investigate the potential effects of prox.0}selection in hemispheric and global temperature reconstructions during the past two *** long-term trends,spectral characteristics,and volcanic responses of the annual temperatures were studied based on the *** results reveal a significant cooling trend in the global annual mean temperature using both tree-ring and non-tree-ring records during the 1–1850CE period,and show that the cooling ex.ibits a stronger trend in the Southern Hemisphere(SH)than that in the Northern Hemisphere(NH).y.t,the long-term trends vary.according to different combinations of prox.0}*** reconstructions based on different ty.es of prox.es also ex.ibit different features in terms of volcanic responses and spectral ***-ring-based temperature reconstructions show stronger cooling responses to tropical volcanic eruptions,while non-tree-ring-based reconstructions suggest less robust volcanic responses,which may.be related to dating uncertainties and low temporal resolution of the ***-ring width records tend to preserve a substantial proportion of high-frequency.y.ars)variability.whereas non-tree-ring prox.es tend to capture a larger fraction of low-frequency.>200 y.ars)*** are needed to reduce uncertainti

Background This retrospective study.assessed the efficacy.and safety.of ketogenic diet therapies in children with epilepsy.caused by.SLC2A1 genetic mutations and glucose transporter ty.e 1 deficiency.*** Pediatric patients with epilepsy.sy.ptoms admitted to our medical center between January.2017 and October 2021 were included if they.presented with an SLC2A1 genetic mutation on whole-ex.me *** analy.ed the patients’convulsions and treatment with antiepileptic *** patients were followed up at different time periods after ketogenic diet *** Six.patients with SLC2A1 mutations were included in this *** patients had seizures of different ty.es and frequencies,and they.took antiepileptic drugs to relieve their *** were then treated with a ketogenic diet for at least four *** analy.ed epilepsy.control rates at 1,2,3,6,and 12 months after ketogenic diet *** patients were seizure-free within a month of receiving the diet *** patients were followed up for six.months,three were followed up for 12 months after the treatment,and there was no recurrence of epilepsy.during this *** antiepileptic drug withdrawal,none of the patients ex.erienced seizure relapse when receiving ketogenic diet treatment *** severe adverse events occurred during the *** Ketogenic diet therapy.is very.effective and safe for the treatment of epilepsy.caused by.SLC2A1 ***,patients with glucose transporter ty.e 1 deficiency.sy.drome caused by.SLC2A1 mutations should begin ketogenic diet treatment as soon as possible.

Astronomical imaging technologies are basic tools for the ex.loration of the universe,providing basic data for the research of astronomy.and space *** Soft x.ray.Imager(Sx.)carried by.the Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Ex.lorer(SMILE)aims to capture two-dimensional(2-D)images of the Earth’s magnetosheath by.using soft x.ray.***,the observed 2-D images are affected by.many.noise factors,destroy.ng the contained information,which is not conducive to the subsequent reconstruction of the three-dimensional(3-D)structure of the *** analy.is of Sx.-simulated observation images shows that such damage cannot be evaluated with traditional restoration *** makes it difficult to establish the mapping relationship between Sx.simulated observation images and target images by.using mathematical *** propose an image restoration algorithm for Sx.simulated observation images that can recover large-scale structure information on the *** idea is to train a patch estimator by.selecting noise–clean patch pairs with the same distribution through the Classification–Ex.ectation Max.mization algorithm to achieve the restoration estimation of the Sx.-simulated observation image,whose mapping relationship with the target image is established by.the patch *** Classification–Ex.ectation Max.mization algorithm is used to select multiple patch clusters with the same distribution and then train different patch estimators so as to improve the accuracy.of the *** results showed that our image restoration algorithm is superior to other classical image restoration algorithms in the Sx.-simulated observation image restoration task,according to the peak signal-to-noise ratio and structural *** restoration results of Sx.-simulated observation images are used in the tangent fitting approach and the computed tomography.approach toward magnetospheric reconstruction techniques,significantly.improving

Petrogenesis, ox.dation state and volatile content of Dongga tonalite in the Gangdese belt, x.zang: Implication for porphy.y.Cu mineralization

The Gangdese belt in x.zang has ex.erienced both Jurassic subduction and Cenozoic continental collision processes, making it a globally.renowned region for magmatic rocks and porphy.y.copper deposits. Numerous Jurassic intrusions have been identified in the belt. Apart from the quartz diorite porphy.y.in the large x.etongmen deposit, the Cu mineralization potential of other Jurassic intrusions in this belt remains unclear. This study.presents zircon U–Pb dating and trace elements, apatite major and trace elements as well as published whole-rock geochemical and isotopic data of the Dongga tonalite in the central part of the Gangdese belt, aiming to reveal the petrogenesis, ox.dation state, volatile content, and Cu mineralization potential of this intrusion. The Dongga tonalite has a zircon U–Pb age of 179.4 ± 0.9 Ma. It ex.ibits high whole-rock V/Sc values(8.76–14.6), relatively.low apatite CeN/CeN*ratios(1.04–1.28), elevated zircon(Eu/Eu*)Nvalues(an average of 0.44), high Ce4+/Ce3+values(205–1896), and high ?FMQ values(1.3–3.7), collectively.suggesting a high magmatic ox.0}en fugacity. The Dongga tonalite features amphibole phenocry.ts, relatively.high whole-rock Sr/y.ratios(20.3–58.9), and lower zircon Ti temperatures (502–740 ℃), reflecting a high magmatic water content. Estimation of magmatic sulfur content(0.002–0.024 wt%) based on apatite SO3contents indicates an enriched magma sulfur content. Combined with previous studies and the collected Sr–Nd–Hf isotopes, the Dongga tonalite is derived from juvenile lower crust related with subduction of the Neo-Tethy. oceanic slab. When compared with x.etongmen orebearing porphy.ies, the Dongga tonalite ex.ibits remarkable similarities with the x.etongmen ore-bearing porphy.ies in terms of magma source, tectonic background, magmatic redox.state, and volatile components, which indicates that the Dongga tonalite has a high porphy.y.Cu mineralization potential, and therefore, provides important guidance for the future mineral

Enhancing photody.amic inactivation via tunning spatial constraint on photosensitizer

The critical factor of spatial constraint,provided by.the ex.ernal confinement(e.g.,matrix.,is often overlooked during photody.amic inactivation,despite play.ng a crucial role in determining the molecular photophy.ical process and subsequent antipathogen ***,as a proof-of-concept model,we employ.d two ty.es of poly.ers with vary.ng interaction energies with dopants to investigate the intrinsic relationship between spatial constraint and the essential ex.ited-state behaviors of doped photosensitizer(4-(2-(5-(4-(dipheny.amino)pheny.)thiophen-2-y.)ethy.)-1-methy.quinolin-1-ium iodine,TPP).Through ex.erimental investigation and theoretical calculations,we found that TPP tends to remain in the ex.ited state for a shorter dwell time under weaker spatial constraints due to less restricted molecular motion in poly.rethane(PU) ***,the singlet ox.0}en(^(1)O_(2)) generated from doped-TPP shows a 9.23-fold enhancement in PU than in the poly.iny.chloride(PVC) *** light irradiation,the PU@TPP nanofiber can efficiently.eliminate the coronavirus MHV-A59(≥99.9997%) at a 220,000-fold higher concentration than the infected *** antibacterial efficacy.has also been demonstrated,with a killing rate of ≥99%.

Through carry.ng out the high-temperature tensile ex.eriments on an as-ex.ruded Mg-11wt%y.alloy.at 350℃,400℃,450℃,500℃and 550℃,the mechanical behavior and fracture mechanisms at elevated temperatures are investigated and *** results show that with the increase of temperature,the y.eld strength and ultimate tensile strength of the alloy.increase at first and then decrease,while that the elongation ratio decreases firstly.and then *** the sample being tested at 350℃,the values of y.eld strength,ultimate tensile strength and the elongation ratio are 188 MPa,266 MPa and 11%,*** 400℃,the y.eld strength and ultimate tensile strength reach the max.mum values of,respectively.198 MPa and 277 MPa,but the elongation ratio is the lowest and its value is only.8%.When the applied temperature is increased to 550℃,the values of y.eld strength and ultimate tensile strength,respectively.decrease to 140 MPa and 192 MPa and the elongation ratio increases to 38%.Failure analy.is demonstrates that the fracture surfaces of different samples are mainly.composed of plastic dimples and ex.ibit the ty.ical characteristic of ductile *** observation to the fracture side surfaces indicates that at the temperatures of 350℃and 400℃,microcracks mainly.initiate in the interior of Mg_(24)y.(5)*** the temperatures are 450℃,500℃and 550℃,the cracks preferentially.initiate at the Mg_(24)y.(5)/α-Mg interfaces.
