Electrorheological fluid of kaolinite-based ternary nanocomposite and its properties

According to the physical and chemical design, a kind of kaolinite /dimethylsulfoxide/carboxymethyl starch (CMS) ternary nanocomposite was prepared by the two-step composite method. Firstly, the polar liquid-dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) was directly intercalated into the interlayer of kaolinite, and then the intercalated complex was composite with CMS by the solution method. The results showed that DMSO moderately intercalated the interlayer of kaolinite and the basal spacing of kaolinite was swollen from 0.715 to 1.120 nm. Under the electric fields of 5 kV mm-1 and volume fraction 30%, the static shear stress of kaolinite/DMSO/CMS ternary ERF could reach 17 kPa, which was 14 times and 4.25 times higher than that of pure kaolinite ERF and kaolinite/CMS ERF respectively. At the suitable component ratio (kaolinite:DMSO:CMS=1:0.75:0.6) of nanocomposite, a stronger synergetic effect and the optimum electrorheological effect could be attained. The ternary nanocomposite ERF also had good temperature effect and sedimentation properties. The sedimentation part of ternary nanocomposite ERF was only 9% after 30 days. The results of dielectric properties showed that the dielectric constant and conductivity of ternary nanocomposite ERF had been improved more enormously than that of the single component ERF and binary composite ERF. So the polarization and dielectric mismatch were strengthened, which was suitable to the enhancement of ER effect.

This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the MD-BFKL equation,considering both shadowing and anti-shadowing effects in gluon recombination *** deriving analytical expressions for unintegrated gluon distributions through the solution of the MD-BFKL equation,with and without the incorporation of the antishadowing effect,we offer new insights into the influence of these effects on the behavior of unintegrated gluon *** results,when compared to those from the CT18NLO gluon distribution function,demonstrate that the anti-shadowing effect has a notably stronger impact on the characteristics of unintegrated gluon distributions,particularly in regions of high rapidity and *** work significantly contributes to the understanding of gluon recombination mechanisms and their implications in high energy physics.

Dragon＇s blood is a traditional medicine and used in many countries with different cultures because of its various therapeutic properties. The main bioactive constituents of dragon＇s blood are flavonoids, which exhibit various pharmaceutical activities, such as haemostatic, analgesic, anticoagulant, and antimicrobial activities and so on, and have attracted the attention of researchers on the development of new drugs. However, the formation process of dragon＇s blood in nature is very slow, which cannot meet the demand of pharmaceutical uses. Dracaena cambodiana （D. cambodiana） is one of the resource plants of dragon＇s blood na, 6-benzylaminopurine was added in the medium, then red During the course of tissue culture of D. cambodiasecretion was discovered in the cultured medium. Twelve compounds（1--12）, including 11 flavonoids, were determined via the analysis of constituents of the cultured medium by high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry（HPLC-ESI-MS） and the results were compared with that of the standards isolated from dragon＇s blood. Among compounds 1-12, 4,4＇- dihydroxy-2-methoxydihydrochalcone（5）, 4,4＇-dihydroxy-2,6-dimethoxydihydrochalcone（6） and （2S）-7,3＇-dihydroxy- 4＇-methoxyflavane（9） were major compounds of the red secretion, with contents of 15.70, 7.10 and 57.23 mg/L, respectively. Therefore, it is promising that flavonoids from dragon＇s blood can be obtained from the tissue culture of its resource plants for the purpose of drug development.

Magnetism has revolutionized important technologies,and continues to bring forth new phenomena in emergent materials and reduced ***,using first-principles calculations,we demonstrate that the already-synthesized two-dimensional(2D)Ni-tetracyanoquinodimethane(Ni_(2)(TCNQ)_(2))lattice is a stable ferromagnetism material with multiple spin-polarized Dirac *** conical bands in proximity of the Fermi level can be tuned by external tensile strain and show the fourfold degenerate electronic states at the critical tensile strain of~2.35%,whose energy dispersion is consistent with 2D Cairo pentagonal *** addition,spin-orbital coupling can open a band gap at the Dirac point of A,leading to topologically nontrivial electronic states characterized by the non-zero Chern number and the edge states of *** results offer versatile platforms for the realization of massless spintronics with full-spin polarization in 2D Cairo pentagonal Ni_(2)(TCNQ)_(2) Lattice.

Diabetes mellitus(DM)has emerged as a serious public health concern,due to the high morbidity and mortality resulted from its complications,such as diabetic nephropathy,diabetic cardiovascular complication,and diabetic neuropathy,*** this study,we investigated the beneficial effects of sepia ink melanin(SIM)on hyperglycaemia and the restoration of diabetic symptoms in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic model *** first,the normal experimental mice were performed with intraperitoneal injection of STZ(40 mg(kg BW)^(−1))(BW,body weight)to attain diabetes and then were treated with different concentrations of SIM(120,240 and 480 mg(kg BW)^(−1))for four *** treatment,significant decrease in gluconeogenesis were determined,accompanied by a notable increase in both glycolysis and oxidative enzyme activities in SIM-treated groups,such as liver marker enzymes in the serum and key antioxidant enzymes in *** results revealed the transcriptional alterations in SIM-treated *** exposure increased the expression levels of several genes related to insulin transduction and PI3K/Akt pathway,including PI3K,Akt,Irs-2,and ***,expression levels of Dicarbonyl/l-xylulose reductase(Dcxr)and UDP-glucose dehydrogenase(Ugdh),which are in-volved in pentose-glucuronate interconversion pathway,were also elevated in SIM-treated ***,histological observation results indicated that nuclear deformation and organelle dissolution were improved,thus could enhance the liver *** results demonstrated that SIM can be effective in ameliorating diabetic symptoms and improving disease management for diabetic patients.

Filtering capacitor with compact configuration and a wide range of operating voltage has been attracting increasing attention for the smooth conversion of the electric signal in modern *** integration of capacitor units can be regarded as one of the efficient ways to achieve a wider voltage range,which has not yet been fully conquered due to the lack of rational designs of the electrode structure and integration *** study presents an alternatingly stacked assemble technology to conveniently fabricate compact aqueous hybrid integrated filtering capacitors on a large scale,in which a unit consists of rGO/MXene composite film as a negative electrode and PEDOT:PSS based film as a positive *** from the synergistic effect of rGO and MXene components,and morphological characteristics of PEDOT:PSS,the capacitor unit exhibits outstanding AC line filtering with a large areal specific energy density of 1,015 μF V^(2)cm^(-2)(0.28 μW h cm^(-2)) at 120 *** rational integration,the assembled capacitors present compact/lightweight configuration and lossless frequency response,as reflected by almost constant resistor-capacitor time constant of 0.2 ms and dissipation factor of 15% at120 Hz,identical to those of the single capacitor *** from standing alone steadily on a flower,a small volume(only 8.1 cm^(3)) of the integrated capacitor with 70 units connected in series achieves hundred-volts alternating current line filtering,which is superior to most reported filtering capacitors with sandwich *** study provides insight into the fabrication and application of compact/ultralight filtering capacitors with lossless frequency response,and a wide range of operating voltage.
