Localized CdS homojunctions with optimal ratio of high and low index facets are constructed to dy-namically boost H_(2)O splitting into H_(2)energy by hydrothermal method in combination with calcination.By density functional theory,hall effect,and in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spec-troscopy,it is revealed that photo-irradiated e^(−)and h^(+)can be spatially separated and directionally trans-ferred to the reductive high-index facet{002}and oxidative low-index facet{110}of localized CdS homo-junction induced by Fermi level difference of both high and low index facets to dehydrogenate ^(∗)-OH and coupled ^(∗)-O intermediates for H_(2)and O_(2)yield,respectively,along with a solar conversion into hydrogen of 1.93%by AM 1.5 G irradiation at 65℃.The study work suggests a scientific perspective on the optimal ratio of high and low index facets to understand photo-generated charge carrier transfer dynamically and their photocatalytic principle for H_(2)O splitting reaction in kinetics.

Efficient portable wearable sweat sensors allow the long-term monitoring of changes in the status of biomarkers in sweat,which can be useful in diagnosis,medication,and nutritional assessment.In this study,we designed and tested a wireless,battery-free,flexible,self-pumping sweat-sensing system that simultaneously tracks levodopa and vitamin C levels in human sweat and detects body temperature.The system includes a microfluidic chip with a self-driven pump and anti-reflux valve,a flexible wireless circuit board,and a purpose-designed smartphone app.The microfluidic chip is used for the efficient collection of sweat and the drainage of excess sweat.The dual electrochemical sensing electrodes in the chip are modified with functional materials and appropriate enzymatic reagents,achieving excellent selectivity and stability.The sensitivities of the levodopa sensor and the vitamin C sensor are 0.0073 and 0.0018μA·μM^(-1),respectively,and the detection correlation coefficients of both exceed 0.99.Both sensors have a wide linear detection range of 0–100 and 0–1000μM,respectively,and low detection limits of 0.28 and 17.9μM,respectively.The flexible wireless circuit board is equipped with the functions of wireless charging,electrical signal capture and processing,and wireless transmission.The data recorded from each sensor are displayed on a smartphone via a self-developed app.A series of experimental results confirmed the reliability of the sweat-sensing system in noninvasively monitoring important biomarkers in the human body and its potential utility in the comprehensive assessment of biological health.

High qualityβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)single crystal nanobelts with length of 2−3 mm and width from tens of microns to 132μm were synthesized by carbothermal reduction method.Based on the grown nanobelt with the length of 600μm,the dual-Schottky-junctions coupling device(DSCD)was fabricated.Due to the electrically floating Ga_(2)O_(3)nanobelt region coupling with the double Schottky-junctions,the current I_(S2)increases firstly and rapidly reaches into saturation as increase the voltage V_(S2).The saturation current is about 10 pA,which is two orders of magnitude lower than that of a single Schottky-junction.In the case of solar-blind ultraviolet(UV)light irradiation,the photogenerated electrons further aggravate the coupling physical mechanism in device.I_(S2)increases as the intensity of UV light increases.Under the UV light of 1820μW/cm^(2),I_(S2)quickly enters the saturation state.At V_(S2)=10 V,photo-to-dark current ratio(PDCR)of the device reaches more than 104,the external quantum efficiency(EQE)is 1.6×10^(3)%,and the detectivity(D*)is 7.5×10^(12)Jones.In addition,the device has a very short rise and decay times of 25−54 ms under different positive and negative bias.DSCD shows unique electrical and optical control characteristics,which will open a new way for the application of nanobelt-based devices.

Organic photovoltaic(OPV)cells have demonstrated remarkable performance in small,spin-coated areas.Nevertheless significant challenges persist in the form of large efficiency losses due to the fact that the ideal morphology cannot be preserved in the transition of small-area cells to large-scale panels.Herein,the ternary strategy of incorporating the third component FTCC-Br into the active layer of PB2:BTP-eC9 is employed to improve absorption response,optimize morphology,and reduce charge recombination,leading to a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 19.5%(certified as 19.1%by the National Institute of Metrology,China).Moreover,the addition of FTCC-Br can control the aggregation kinetics of the active layer during the film formation process,transferring the optimal morphology to the blade-coated large-area films.Based on the highly efficient ternary bulk heterojunction,the 50 cm^(2) OPVmodules exhibited a PCE of 15.2%with respect to the active area.Importantly,the ternary OPV cells retain 80%of its initial PCE after 4000 h under continuous illumination.Our work demonstrates that the addition of a third component has the potential to improve the efficiency and stability of large-area organic solar cells.

Characteristics of Hydrogen-rich Coals in Southern China:Implications from Organic Geochemistry and Carbon Isotopic Compositions

The organic geochemical characteristics of hydrogen-rich coal in southern China were investigated synthetically through organic geochemistry and carbon isotope analyses.The results showed that the hydrogen contents of the test samples were more than 5.0% and the H/C atomic ratios were between 0.76-1.06.Samples were found to be composed mostly of Type Ⅱ-Ⅲ℃ kerogen,consistent with good hydrocarbon-generation potential.The R_(o)(0.54-1.10%)and T_(max)(430-453℃)values imply that the hydrogen-rich coals were in low maturity to mature stages.Stable carbon isotopic ratios(δ^(13)C_(org))of the samples used varied from −24.5‰ to −23.4‰,the barkinite content ranging from 13.9% to 83.3%,indicating a predominantly terrestrial origin with marine influence during coal formation.Some organic geochemical parameters showed corresponding changes as the hydrogen content increased from 5.0% to 7.0%,however,the source inputs changed significantly when hydrogen content was greater than 6.0%.Terrestrial higher plants gradually become predominant within the coal-forming materials,whereas this dominant position is not apparent at lower hydrogen contents,which is attributable to the strong seawater effect during the hydrogen-rich coal formation process.

Cell-free RNA(cf RNA) allows assessment of health, status, and phenotype of a variety of human organs and is a potential biomarker to non-invasively diagnose numerous diseases. Nevertheless, there is a lack of highly efficient and bias-free cf RNA isolation technologies due to the low abundance and instability of cf RNA.Here, we developed a reproducible and high-efficiency isolation technology for different types of cell-free nucleic acids(containing cf RNA and viral RNA) in serum/plasma based on the inclusion of nucleic acids by metal-organic framework(MOF) materials, which greatly improved the isolation efficiency and was able to preserve RNA integrity compared with the most widely used research kit method. Importantly, the quality of cf RNA extracted by the MOF method is about 10-fold that of the kit method, and the MOF method isolates more than three times as many different RNA types as the kit method. The whole transcriptome mapping characteristics of cf RNA in serum from patients with liver cancer was described and a cf RNA signature with six cf RNAs was identified to diagnose liver cancer with high diagnostic efficiency(area under curve = 0.905 in the independent validation cohort) using this MOF method. Thus, this new MOF isolation technique will advance the field of liquid biopsy, with the potential to diagnose liver cancer.

Seed plumules comprise multiple developing tissues and are key sites for above-ground plant organ morphogenesis.Here,the spatial expression of genes in developing rice seed plumules was characterized by single-cell transcriptome sequencing in Zhongjiazao 17,a popular Chinese indica rice cultivar.Of 15 cell clusters,13 were assigned to cell types using marker genes and cluster-specific genes.Marker genes of multiple cell types were expressed in several clusters,suggesting a complex developmental system.Some genes for signaling by phytohormones such as abscisic acid were highly expressed in specific clusters.Various cis-elements in the promoters of genes specifically expressed in cell clusters were calculated,and some key hormone-related motifs were frequent in certain clusters.Spatial expression patterns of genes involved in rapid seed germination,seedling growth,and development were identified.These findings enhanced our understanding of cellular diversity and specialization within plumules of rice,a monocotyledonous model crop.

Layered double hydroxides have demonstrated great potential for the oxygen evolution reaction,which is a crucial half-reaction of overall water splitting.However,it remains challenging to apply layered double hydroxides in other electrochemical reactions with high efficiency and stability.Herein,we report two-dimensional multifunctional layered double hydroxides derived from metalorganic framework sheet precursors supported by nanoporous gold with high porosity,which exhibit appealing performances toward oxygen/hydrogen evolution reactions,hydrazine oxidation reaction,and overall hydrazine splitting.The as-prepared catalyst only requires an overpotential of 233 mV to reach 10 mA·cm^(-2) toward oxygen evolution reaction.The overall hydrazine splitting cell only needs a cell voltage of 0.984 V to deliver 10 mA·cm^(-2),which is far more superior than that of the overall water splitting system(1.849 V).The appealing performances of the catalyst can be contributed to the synergistic effect between the metal components of the layered double hydroxides and the supporting effect of the nanoporous gold substrate,which could endow the sample with high surface area and excellent conductivity,resulting in superior activity and stability.

目前网络表示学习方法大多针对通过网络,忽略了属性二分网络的特殊性以及网络的模体信息等。为了解决以上问题,提出一种保留模体信息的属性二分图神经网络表示学习方法MABG。该方法首先通过网络中两节点共同参与形成的蝶形模体数量来调整边的权重,从而构建模体权重矩阵,获得包含模体信息的属性二分网络邻接矩阵。接着采取不同的策略捕捉网络中的显式和属性隐式消息,对于不同类型节点集合间的显式关系采用消息传递机制,对于同类型节点中的隐式关系采用消息对齐机制,同时使用对抗模型最小化输入特征和显式关系表示之间的差异,之后通过级联框架来捕捉高阶信息并得到最终的节点表示。将该模型在四个真实公开的数据集上执行推荐任务并与其他方法进行对比,验证了该模型的有效性。
