A novel integrated microfluidic chip for on-demand electrostatic droplet charging and sorting

On-demand droplet sorting is extensively applied for the efficient manipulation and genome-wide analysis of individual cells.However,state-of-the-art microfluidic chips for droplet sorting still suffer from low sorting speeds,sample loss,and labor-intensive preparation procedures.Here,we demonstrate the development of a novel microfluidic chip that integrates droplet generation,on-demand electrostatic droplet charging,and high-throughput sorting.The charging electrode is a copper wire buried above the nozzle of the microchannel,and the deflecting electrode is the phosphate buffered saline in the microchannel,which greatly simplifies the structure and fabrication process of the chip.Moreover,this chip is capable of high-frequency droplet generation and sorting,with a frequency of 11.757 kHz in the drop state.The chip completes the selective charging process via electrostatic induction during droplet generation.On-demand charged microdroplets can arbitrarilymove to specific exit channels in a three-dimensional(3D)-deflected electric field,which can be controlled according to user requirements,and the flux of droplet deflection is thereby significantly enhanced.Furthermore,a lossless modification strategy is presented to improve the accuracy of droplet deflection or harvest rate from 97.49% to 99.38% by monitoring the frequency of droplet generation in real time and feeding it back to the charging signal.This chip has great potential for quantitative processing and analysis of single cells for elucidating cell-to-cell variations.

The aqueous zinc ion batteries（AZIBs） are thought as promising competitors for electrochemical energy storage,though their wide application is curbed by the uncontrollable dendrite growth and gas evolution side reactions.Herein,to stabilize both zinc anodes and water molecules,we developed a modified electrolyte by adding a trace amount of N,N-diethylformanmide（DEF） into the ZnSO4electrolyte for the first time in zinc ion batteries.The effectiveness of DEF is predicted by the comparison of donor number and its preferential adsorption behavior on the zinc anode is further demonstrated by several spectroscopy characterizations,electrochemical methods,and molecular dynamics simulation.The modified electrolyte with 5% v.t.DEF content can ensure a stable cycling life longer than 3400 h of Zn‖Zn symmetric cells and an ultra-reversible Zn stripping/plating process with a high coulombic efficiency of 99.7%.The Zn‖VO2full cell maintains a capacity retention of 83.5% and a 104 mA h g-1mass capacity after 1000cycles.This work provides insights into the role of interfacial adsorption behavior and the donor number of additive molecules in designing low-content and effective aqueous electrolytes.

Probability theory and mathematical statistics are fundamental courses for various majors in science and engineering.In response to the current teaching situation,we should integrate theory with practice,implement teaching reform,and carry out teaching innovation.The article carries out blended teaching with deep integration of online and offline modes and within and outside of class,constructing innovative measures of“four integrations and four reshaping.”The article conducts diversified evaluations to stimulate learning motivation and help achieve talent cultivation goals.Through the close integration of probability theory and mathematical statistics course teaching with professional education and practical application,the“three-in-one”teaching goal of value shaping,ability cultivation,and knowledge exploration is achieved.The fundamental task of“cultivating morality and talents”is implemented.

“双碳”背景下,企业环境信息强制披露拉开序幕。根据地理经济学理论,企业与生态环境监管部门之间地理距离越近,可能对企业形成“震慑”(监督成本的“距离衰减效应”),也可能让企业有所“依靠”(寻租成本的“距离衰减效应”)。基于2015—2020年重点排污上市公司数据,该研究采用固定效应模型和中介效应模型实证检验了企业与生态环境监管部门之间的地理距离对企业环境信息披露质量的影响方向及影响路径。研究表明:①企业与生态环境监管部门之间的地理距离越近,企业的环境信息披露质量越高,支持了监督成本的“距离衰减效应”假说。②地理距离对企业环境信息披露质量的影响是通过省级层面监察监测力度和地市级层面执法力度实现的。③地方人民政府环境治理力度的增强、地区数字化水平的提升和媒体关注的提高均可以抑制监督成本的“距离衰减效应”。为了企业环境信息披露质量的全区域均衡发展,应增强地方人民政府环境治理力度、提升地区数字化水平和提高媒体关注。该研究从地理经济学的视角,拓展了企业环境信息披露质量的影响因素,丰富了地理经济学“距离衰减效应”的理论实践,为促进企业环境信息披露质量的均衡发展提供了解决方案和理论依据。

Suppression of super-knock in TC-GDI engine using two-stage injection in intake stroke(TSII)

Turbocharging and direct injection are main technologies used for energy-saving gasoline engines.But the biggest challenge is super-knock,whose mechanism is unclear and has no effective strategy to suppress this super-knock until now.The effects of injection strategies on super-knock were experimentally investigated in a turbocharged GDI engine.It was found that two-stage injections during intake stroke(TSII)can eliminate super-knock.Meanwhile,the fuel consumption,emissions and exhaust temperature can keep optimized level.By sweeping the start of the 1st injection(SOI1),end of the 2nd injection(EOI2)and the split injection ratios(ROI2)using 5000 cycles evaluation test at low-speed high load operating point,the optimized injection strategy for the typical TC-GDI engine is TSII with SOI1 at middle of intake stroke,EOI2 at end of intake stroke,and ROI2 of 0.3.

统一潮流控制器(UPFC)应用于潮流调控时,计及UPFC调控参数的交流潮流计算是非凸、非线性问题,且多台装置间的非线性交叉耦合特性也会直接影响优化配置方案。为此,基于UPFC的潮流调控特性,构建了计及UPFC的松弛型交流潮流二阶锥规划模型;计及风电的不确定性,协同考虑UPFC的规划和电力系统的调度问题,建立了计及UPFC最优配置的电力系统鲁棒协同优化模型,并采用列和约束生成算法进行求解。以IEEE RTS-24节点系统为算例进行仿真分析,结果表明所提协同优化策略有效提升了UPFC配置方案的适应性,提高了系统运行经济性和风电消纳能力,增强了系统运行调控的灵活性。

Frame Detection Based on Cyclic Autocorrelation and Constant False Alarm Rate in Burst Communication Systems

Frame detection is important in burst communication systems for its contributions in frame synchronization.It locates the information bits in the received data stream at receivers.To realize frame detection in the presence of additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) and frequency offset,a constant false alarm rate(CFAR) detector is proposed through exploitation of cyclic autocorrelation feature implied in the preamble.The frame detection can be achieved prior to bit timing recovery.The threshold setting is independent of the signal level and noise level by utilizing CFAR method.Mathematical expressions is derived in AWGN channel by considering the probability of false alarm and probability of detection,separately.Given the probability of false alarm,the mathematical relationship between the frame detection performance and E_b/N_0 of received signals is established.Experimental results are also presented in accordance with analysis.
