Distribution of Cu and Pb in particle size fractions of urban soils from different city zones of Nanjing, China

Soil samples from 4 defined city zones of Nanjing were randomly collected at 0-5 cm and 5-20 cm intervals and size fractions of soil particles were separated from undisturbed bulk soils by low energy dispersion procedure. The total contents of Cu and Pb in the different particle size fractions of the urban soils were analyzed by HNO3-HF-HClO4 digestion and flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer determination. The total content of Cu and Pb in soil particle size fractions varied with their size and with city zones as well. Both the content and variation with the size fractions of Pb was bigger than of Cu supporting our previous finding that there was Pb pollution to different degrees in the urban soils although the two elements were generally enriched in clay-sized fraction. Contaminated Pb tended to be preferentially enriched in the size fraction of 2000-250 μm and clay-sized fraction. While the size fractions of the soils from newly developed and preserved area contained smaller amount of Cu and Pb, the partitioning of them in coarse and fine particle size fractions were insignificant compared to that from inner residence and commercial area. The very high Pb level over 150 mg/kg of the fine particle fractions from the soils of the inner city could be a cause of high blood Pb level reported of children from the city as acute exposure to Pb of fine particles of the urban soil might occur by soil ingestion and inhalation by young children. Thus, much attention should be paid to the partitioning of toxic metals in fine soil particles of the urban soils and countermeasures against high health risk of Pb exposure by soil ingestion and dust inhalation should be practiced against the health problem of blood Pb for young children from the cities.

Large Third-Order Nonlinear Optical Susceptibility of Rh-Doped BaTiO_(3) Thin Films Prepared by Pulsed Laser Deposition

Rh-doped barium titanate (BaTiO3) epitaxial thin films have been fabricated on SrTiO_(3) (100) substrates by pulsed laser deposition. The nonlinear optical properties of the films were determined using the z-scan method at a wavelength of 532nm with a laser duration of 10hs. The real and imaginary parts of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility χ^((3)) were 5.71 × 10^(-7) esu and 9.59×10^(-8) esu, respectively. The real part value of x(3) of the Rh:BaTiO3 films is about one order larger than that of Ce-doped BaTiO3 thin films. The results show that Rh:BaTiO3 thin films have great potential applications for nonlinear optical devices.

A novel kinetic procedure for the determination of iron in environmental samples

A novel kinetic procedure for the determination of trace iron(Ⅲ) was proposed based on the aerial oxidation of Gallocyanine by oxygen dissolved in water at pH 7 0. The calibration graph is linear for 0 05—0.6 μg/ml, and the detection limit is 0 01μg/ml (Fe). The present procedure is selective for iron(Ⅲ) and very easy to control compared with kinetic procedures for iron. It had been used to the determination of trace iron in environmental samples, and the results were satisfactory.

Dual modulation of homogeneous nanomaterialization and electrochemical activation enhancing zinc ion storage

Vanadium-based electrode materials are widely investigated,but the low specific capacity and slow electrochemical kinetics in aqueous zinc-ion batteries still limit their commercial ***,the VS2/Ca V4O9material with the morphology of nanoflower was synthesized by a one-step hydrothermal *** to the blocky structure of pure VS2material,the VS2/Ca V4O9material is composed of thinner homogeneous *** open structures could provide abundant electrochemical active sites and ion transport channels,and then promote the electrochemical reaction *** addition,they can also buffer the bulk strain during the reaction *** improve the utilization of vanadium elements,an in-situ electrochemical activation strategy is used to explore the storage performance of the VS2/Ca V4O9material,the different activation voltage range of 0.4–1.6 and 0.4–1.4 V are selected,*** with the longer activation plateau of activated-VS2,the VS2/Ca V4O9cathode could quickly reach the activation state in the range of 1.4–1.6 V and cause the release of additional Zn storage sites *** VS2/Ca V4O9cathode delivers a higher power density of 37,000 W kg-1and a significant energy density of 423 Wh *** the high current density of 15 A g-1,the VS2/Ca V4O9cathode still has a discharge capacity of 183.9m Ah g-1after 5,000 cycles,and the capacity decay rate per cycle is only 0.0042%.Continuous cyclic voltammetry （CV） curves,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy （EIS） measurements,density functional theory （DFT） calculation and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique （GITT） measurements demonstrate that the VS2/Ca V4O9cathode has a faster ion diffusion/charge transfer ***,the assembled flexible device has an excellent mechanical stability.

SEFormer:A Lightweight CNN-Transformer Based on Separable Multiscale Depthwise Convolution and Efficient Self-Attention for Rotating Machinery Fault Diagnosis

Traditional data-driven fault diagnosis methods depend on expert experience to manually extract effective fault features of signals,which has certain ***,deep learning techniques have gained prominence as a central focus of research in the field of fault diagnosis by strong fault feature extraction ability and end-to-end fault diagnosis ***,utilizing the respective advantages of convolution neural network(CNN)and Transformer in local and global feature extraction,research on cooperating the two have demonstrated promise in the field of fault ***,the cross-channel convolution mechanism in CNN and the self-attention calculations in Transformer contribute to excessive complexity in the cooperative *** complexity results in high computational costs and limited industrial *** tackle the above challenges,this paper proposes a lightweight CNN-Transformer named as SEFormer for rotating machinery fault ***,a separable multiscale depthwise convolution block is designed to extract and integrate multiscale feature information from different channel dimensions of vibration ***,an efficient self-attention block is developed to capture critical fine-grained features of the signal from a global ***,experimental results on the planetary gearbox dataset and themotor roller bearing dataset prove that the proposed framework can balance the advantages of robustness,generalization and lightweight compared to recent state-of-the-art fault diagnosis models based on CNN and *** study presents a feasible strategy for developing a lightweight rotating machinery fault diagnosis framework aimed at economical deployment.

从麻疯树中克隆到一个CBF3基因,命名为JcCBF3,ORF全长678bp,编码225个氨基酸;氨基酸序列同源性比对结果显示JcCBF3与其他物种CBF序列具有较高的同源性,与木薯和橡胶树的相似度最高,达到79%和74%.RT-qPCR结果表明低温胁迫12h后JcCBF3基因的表达量达到峰值,为对照的62倍.将JcCBF3构建到植物过表达载体pBI121上并成功转化烟草.低温处理下转基因烟草幼苗的游离脯氨酸含量和超氧化物歧化酶活性的增幅均大于野生型烟草,并且JcCBF3基因的过表达增强了含有CRT/DRE元件的下游抗性基因的表达.
