Fe-12Cr-2.5W-x Si-0.4Ti-0.3Y_(2)O_(3)alloys were fabricated by mechanical alloying and vacuum *** effect of sintering temperature and Si content on the microstructure and properties of the alloy was investigated *** experimental results show that the relative density and tensile strength of the alloy were increased with the elevating of sintering temperature and Si content within a certain *** alloy with 1wt%Si sintered at 1350℃exhibited superior properties,and the relative density and tensile strength were 96.8%and 692.7 MPa,*** and EDAX analysis of nano-precipitation in the matrix indicated that Si could combine with Y,Ti,and O in the sintering process,which was uniformly distributed with the size of 10 *** of Y_(2)O_(3)had not completely dissolved in the milling process,which was retained in the matrix of the alloy.

Dear Editor,Underwater distributed antenna systems(DAS) are stationary infrastructures consisting of multiple geographically distributed antenna elements(DAEs) which are interconnected through high-rate backbone networks [1]. Compared to centralized systems, the DAS could provide a larger coverage area and higher throughput for underwater acoustic(UWA) transmissions. In this work, exploiting the low sound speed in water, a multi-agent reinforcement learning(MARL)-based approach is proposed to secure underwater DAS against eavesdropping at the physical layer.

The utilization of 3-dimensional point cloud technology for non-invasive measurement of plant phenotypic parameters can furnish important data for plant breeding,agricultural production,and diverse research ***,the utilization of depth sensors and other tools for capturing plant point clouds often results in missing and incomplete data due to the limitations of 2.5D imaging features and leaf *** drawback obstructed the accurate extraction of phenotypic ***,this study presented a solution for incomplete flowering Chinese Cabbage point clouds using Point Fractal Network-based *** study performed experiments on flowering Chinese Cabbage by constructing a point cloud dataset of their leaves and training the *** findings demonstrated that our network is stable and robust,as it can effectively complete diverse leaf point cloud morphologies,missing ratios,and multi-missing scenarios.A novel framework is presented for 3D plant reconstruction using a single-view RGB-D(Red,Green,Blue and Depth)*** method leveraged deep learning to complete localized incomplete leaf point clouds acquired by RGB-D cameras under occlusion ***,the extracted leaf area parameters,based on triangular mesh,were compared with the measured *** outcomes revealed that prior to the point cloud completion,the R^(2)value of the flowering Chinese Cabbage's estimated leaf area(in comparison to the standard reference value)was *** root mean square error(RMSE)was 15.88 cm^(2),and the average relative error was 22.11%.However,post-completion,the estimated value of leaf area witnessed a significant improvement,with an R^(2)of 0.9637,an RMSE of 6.79 cm^(2),and average relative error of 8.82%.The accuracy of estimating the phenotypic parameters has been enhanced significantly,enabling efficient retrieval of such *** development offers a fresh perspective for non-destructive identification of plant p

Information on tintinnid horizontal distribution in the Antarctic Continental Zone is *** the summer of 2019/2020,tintinnid diversity and horizontal distribution in surface waters were investigated in the Ross Sea and Amundsen Sea *** tintinnid species were found and the dominant species showed obvious horizontal distribution *** the Ross Sea,three tintinnid community groups were *** cristallina and Laackmanniella prolongata(group I)were dominant species and were mainly distributed in stations closer to the coast than were species in the other two *** gaussi(group II)and ***(group III)were mainly distributed in nearshore and offshore stations,*** the Amundsen Sea polynya,the dominant species ***,*** and Salpingella faurei(group I)were mainly distributed in stations closer to the coast than were species in the other two ***(group III)was mainly distributed in offshore *** distribution area where *** and *** were found in high abundance and abundance proportion of loricae with protoplasts was divided by the approximate boundary of the Antarctic Slope Front Current and Coastal Current in the Ross *** highest abundance proportion in the Ross Sea was the 32-36μm lorica oral diameter(LOD)size class(75.7%),and the 36-40μm LOD size class(56.0%)was found in the Amundsen Sea ***-salinity-plankton diagrams of the two seas revealed that temperature may be the main reason for species *** results contribute to a better understanding of horizontal distribution of the microbial food web,and serve as a baseline for future studies of pelagic community change in the Antarctic Continental Zone.

The Zambezi Delta basin is a passive marginal basin located on the East African coast that has good oil and gas exploration *** to the special geological evolutionary background of the Beira High in the Zambezi Delta basin,it has a low gravity anomaly,and the existing seismic survey lines do not cover the whole basin;therefore,it is difficult to interpret the structural characteristics of the whole basin based solely on gravity or seismic *** on satellite altimetry gravity anomaly data,this study infers the distribution characteristics of faults in the Zambezi Delta basin by using the normalized vertical derivative of the total horizontal derivative(NVDR-THDR)***,constrained by seismic data,the gravity anomaly at the Moho interface is extracted by using the fast forward method of the double-interface model of the gravity anomaly,and this anomaly is then removed from the Bouguer gravity anomaly to obtain the sedimentary layer gravity *** thickness of the sedimentary strata is obtained by inversing the sedimentary basement depth of the whole ***,uplifts and depressions are divided based on a sedimentary layer thickness of 3 *** research demonstrates that the Zambezi Delta basin mainly features nearly SN-trending and NE-trending faults and that these faults exhibit east-west *** nearly SN-trending strike-slip faults controlled the sedimentary development of the basin,and the NE-trending tensile faults may have acted as migration channels for oil,gas and ***“overcompensation”effect of the Moho interface gravity anomaly on the gravity anomaly of the sedimentary layer is caused by the depression of the Moho interface beneath the Beira High,which results in a low gravity anomaly value for the Beira *** pattern of uplifts and depressions trends NE and has the structural characteristics of east-west blocks.

Rapid and accurate identification of potential structural deficiencies is a crucial task in evaluating seismic vulnerability of large building inventories in a region. In the case of multi-story structures, abrupt vertical variations of story stiffness are known to significantly increase the likelihood of collapse during moderate or severe earthquakes. Identifying and retrofitting buildings with such irregularities—generally termed as soft-story buildings—is, therefore, vital in earthquake preparedness and loss mitigation efforts. Soft-story building identification through conventional means is a labor-intensive and time-consuming process. In this study, an automated procedure was devised based on deep learning techniques for identifying soft-story buildings from street-view images at a regional scale. A database containing a large number of building images and a semi-automated image labeling approach that effectively annotates new database entries was developed for developing the deep learning model. Extensive computational experiments were carried out to examine the effectiveness of the proposed procedure, and to gain insights into automated soft-story building identification.

With urban residents’increasing reliance on metro systems for commuting and other daily activities,extreme weather events such as heavy rainfall and flooding impacting the metro system services are becoming increasingly of *** for such emergency interruptions require a thorough understanding of the potential outcomes on both the system and individual component ***,due to the complex dynamics,constraints,and interactions of the elements involved(e.g.,disaster,infrastructure,service operation,and travel behavior),there is still no framework that comprehensively evaluates the system performance across different spatiotemporal scales and is flexible enough to handle increasingly detailed travel behavior,transit service,and disaster information *** on an agent-based model(ABM)framework,this study adopts a data-driven ABM simulation approach informed by actual metro operation and travel demand data to investigate the impact of flood-induced station closures on travelers as well as the overall system response.A before-after comparison is conducted where the traveler behaviors in disaster scenarios are obtained from a discrete choice model of alternative stations and routes.A case study of the Shanghai Metro is used to demonstrate the ability of the proposed approach in evaluating the impacts of flood-induced station closures on individual traveler behavior under normal operation and a series of water level rise scenarios of up to *** was found that,when the flood-induced station closures only affect a few river-side stations in the city center,the travelers experience only minor disruptions to their trips due to the availability of unaffected stations nearby as a ***,as the water level increases and more stations(mainly in the suburban area)are affected,up to 25%of trips are no longer being fulfilled due to the loss of entrances,exits,or transfer *** system experiences overall less crowdedness in terms of passenger volume and

The mechanism underlying pollen tube growth involves diverse genes and molecular pathways. Alterations in the regulatory genes or pathways cause phenotypic changes reflected by cellular morphology, which can be captured using fluorescence microscopy. Determining and classifying pollen tube morphological phenotypes in such microscopic images is key to our understanding the involvement of genes and pathways. In this context, we propose a computational method to extract quantitative morphological features, and demonstrate that these features reflect morphological differences relevant to distinguish different defects of pollen tube growth. The corresponding software tool furthermore includes a novel semi-automated image segmentation approach, allowing to highly accurately identify the boundary of a pollen tube in a microscopic image.

In recent decades,environmental changes in the Arctic have aroused widespread concern around the *** better understand ecology issues such as ecosystem dynamics,the Arctic and the subarctic regions were integrated as the“pan-Arctic”*** this study,mesozooplankton were sampled from the Bering Sea shelf to the northern Chukchi Sea during the 10th Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition in *** on the species composition and abundance,three geographical communities were identified:the Bering Sea shelf community(BSS),the Bering Strait transitional community(BST),and the Chukchi Sea shelf community(CSS).The BSS was characterized by Bering Sea oceanic species such as Eucalanus bungii;the BST was mainly composed of the pan-Arctic distributed Calanus glacialis,meroplankton of benthos,and neritic species such as Centropages abdominalis;copepods,especially the copepodite of ***,were predominant in the CSS *** BSS community structure was strongly affected by the inflow of Bering Shelf Water,while those of BST and CSS were determined by the recruitment of local *** zooplankton community structure is influenced by both advection and environmental changes such as warming and a prolonged productivity ***,it was difficult to distinguish the changes induced by climate change from the effects of the Bering Sea *** key to solving this problem is the accumulation of comparable data,which requires continuous monitoring of key species such as *** and Calanus hyperboreus.
