The anodic electrooxidation of ethanol to value-added acetate is an excellent example of replacing the oxygen evolution reaction to promote the cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction and save ***,we present a colloidal strategy to produce Ni-Fe bimetallic alloy nanoparticles(NPs)as efficient electrocatalysts for the electrooxidation of ethanol in alkaline ***-Fe alloy NPs deliver a current density of 1.0 mA·cm^(-2. in a 1.0 M KOH solution containing 1.0 M ethanol merely at 1.5 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),well above the performance of other electrocatalysts in a similar *** continuous 1. h testing at this external potential,this electrode is able to produce an average of 0.49 mmol·cm^(-2.·h^(-1. of acetate with an ethanol-to-acetate Faradaic efficiency of 80%.A series of spectroscopy techniques are used to probe the electrocatalytic process and analyze the ***,density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the iron in the alloy NPs significantly enhances the electroconductivity and electron transfer,shifts the rate-limiting step,and lowers the energy barrier during the ethanol-to-acetate reaction pathway.

The total reaction cross section (1.2.±93 mb) of 1.B at the energy of 43.7 A MeV on C target has been measured by using the transmission method at the Radioactive Ion Beam {2.ne in Lanzhou (RIBLL). Assuming 1.B consists of a core 1.B plus two halo neutrons,the total cross section of 1.B on C target was calculated with the zero-range glauber model,where double gaussian density distributions and gaussian plus HO density distributions were used. It can fit the experimental data very well. The characteristic of halo structure for 1.B was found with a large diffusion of the neutrons density distribution.

A new species of the terrestrial protorosaur Macrocnemus is briefly described and named Macrocne-mus fuyuanensis sp. nov. The specimen was found from the marine Triassic of Yunnan Province, southwestern china. It differs from the type species M. bassanii in having the following characters: (1. 1. or 1. dorsal vertebrae; (2. relatively long humerus; and (3) femur longer than tibia. M. fuyuanensis is the only record of the genus outside Monte San giorgio area and the first definite terrestrial reptile found from the marine Triassic of china. The age of the fossil-bearing Zhuganpo Member of the Falang Formation is believed to be the Ladinian based on associated vertebrate fauna. The existence of Mac-rocnemus in the limestone suggests the presence of a terrestrial ecosystem which probably originated from the Anisian and well developed in the Ladinian in this region. The island system along the north-coast of Tethyan during the Triassic was probably an important route for the exchanges of reptiles, especially the terrestrial reptiles between the west and east.

Immunosuppressive microenvironments present critical problems in clinical *** regulate the tumor immune microenvironment for enhancing antitumor effect,a combination of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)with chemotherapeutics has been applied *** this study,miriplatin(MiPt),the lipidic derivative of 5-fluorouracil(Fu-OA),as well as the programmed death ligand 1.PD-L1.target si RNA(siPD-L1.were integrated into lip-Pt/Fu@siPD-L1.nanoparticles(NPs)for *** vitro results showed that lip-Pt/Fu@siPD-L1.NPs could exhibit effective siRNA gene silencing and promote the phagocytosis of tumor cells by ***,in vivo results revealed that lipPt/Fu@siPD-L1.NPs showed significantly higher anti-tumor efficiency than that of the physical mixing of Mi Pt,5-fluorouracil,and lip@siPD-L1.NPs(delivery of siPD-L1.by liposomes).The best anti-tumor efficiency of lip-Pt/Fu@siPD-L1.NPs resulted from the synergistic immunotherapeutic effects of Mi Pt and siPD-L1.based on the inhibition of CD47 expression and the downregulation of PD-L1.in tumor cells,which elicited a robust anti-tumor immune response through the activation of macrophage phagocytosis and immune checkpoint *** lip-Pt/Fu@siPD-L1.NPs provide a potential strategy for tumor chemo-immunotherapy.

Bietti crystalline corneoretinal dystrophy is an inherited retinal disease caused by mutations in CYP4V2.which results in blindness in the working-age population,and there is currently no available ***,we report the results of the first-in-human clinical trial(NCT0472.1.7)of gene therapy for Bietti crystalline corneoretinal dystrophy,including 1. participants who were followed up for 1.0-365 *** open-label,single-arm exploratory trial aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of a recombinant adeno-associated-virus-serotype-2.8 vector encoding the human CYP4V2.protein(rAAV2.8-hCYP4V2..Participants received a single unilateral subretinal injection of 7.5×1.^(1.)vector genomes of rAAV2.***,73 treatment-emergent adverse events were reported,with the majority(98.6%)being of mild or moderate intensity and considered to be procedure-or corticosteroid-related;no treatment-related serious adverse events or local/systemic immune toxicities were *** with that measured at baseline,77.8%of the treated eyes showed improvement in best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA)on day 1.0,with a mean±standard deviation increase of 9.0±1..8 letters in the 9 eyes analyzed(p=0.02.3}.By day 365,80%of the treated eyes showed an increase in BCVA,with a mean increase of 1..0±1..6 letters in the 5 eyes assessed(p=0.1.5).Importantly,the patients’improvement observed using multifocal electroretinogram,microperimetry,and Visual Function Questionnaire-2. further supported the beneficial effects of the *** conclude that the favorable safety profile and visual improvements identified in this trial encourage the continued development of rAAV2.8-hCYP4V2.named ZVS1.1.).

Plastic offers a new niche for microorganisms,the *** everincreasing emission of plastic waste makes it critical to understand the microbial ecology of the plastisphere and associated ***,we present a global fingerprint of the plastisphere,analyzing samples collected from freshwater,seawater,and terrestrial *** plastisphere assembles a distinct microbial community that has a clearly higher heterogeneity and a more deterministically dominated assembly compared to natural *** coexistence patterns—loose and fragile networks with mostly specialist linkages among microorganisms that are rarely found in natural habitats—are seen in the *** microbiomes generally have a great potential to metabolize organic compounds,which could accelerate carbon *** involved in the nitrogen cycle are also altered in the plastisphere,especially in freshwater plastispheres,where a high abundance of denitrifiers may increase the release of nitrite(aquatic toxicant)and nitrous oxide(greenhouse gas).Enrichment of animal,plant,and human pathogens means that the plastisphere could become an increasingly mobile reservoir of harmful *** findings highlight that if the trajectory of plastic emissions is not reversed,the expanding plastisphere could pose critical planetary health challenges.

Modulating the immune microenvironment to establish sustained positive feedback within immune pathways represents a promising avenue for the treatment of ***,the precise and efficient delivery of therapeutic systems to the subcutaneous basal layer to modulate immune disorders is a major challenge in the treatment of autoimmune *** this project,we introduce a dual-functional microneedle(DF-MN)designed to combine MNs with multiple release kinetics and immunotherapy,the programmed treatment is achieved through segmented design of the MN structure,realizing the unification of rapid and long-lasting treatment of autoimmune *** vivo imaging results showed that gelMA@M-CSF showed fluorescent signals after 5 days of delivery to subcutaneous tissues,whereas HA@IL-1. showed minimal fluorescent signals after 2.*** multistage release behavior of MNs and the diffusion mechanism of drugs were explained at the molecular level,in combination with coarse-grained molecular ***,DF-MN can successfully induce macrophage reprogramming in vitro and ameliorate overall symptoms in a psoriasis mice model,suggesting that it has the potential to be an effective strategy for the treatment of psoriasis and portends to be a transformative platform for the treatment of other autoimmune diseases.

With the commissioning of the Cooler Storage Ring at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL-CSR),a pilot experiment operating the CSRe in isochronous mode to test the power of HIRFL-CSR for measuring the mass of the short-lived nucleus was performed in December of 2.07. The fragments with A/q = 2.of 36Ar were injected into CSRe and their revolution frequencies were measured with a fast time pick-up detector with a thin foil in the circulating path of the ions. The preliminary result is presented. The result shows the potential of CSRe for mass measurements of short-lived nuclei.
