The influence of Nb-V microalloying on the hot deformation behavior and microstructures of medium Mn steel(MMS)was investigated by uniaxial hot compression *** establishing the constitutive equations for simulating the measured flow curves,we successfully constructed deformation activation energy.q)maps and processing maps for identifying the region of flow *** concluded the following consequences of Nb-V alloying for MMS.(i)The critical strain increases and the increment diminishes with the increasing deformation temperature,suggesting that NbC precipitates more efficiently retard dynamic recrystallization(DRX)in MMS compared with solute Nb.(ii)The deformation activation energy of MMS is significantly increased and even higher than that of some reported high Mn steels,suggesting that its ability to retard DRX is greater than that of the high Mn content.(iii)The hot workability of MMS is improved by narrowing the hot processing window for the unstable flow stress,in which fine recrystallized and coarse unrecrystallized grains are present.

The crack initiation mechanism of a Z3CN20.09M duplex stainless steel （DSS） during corrosion fatigue （CF） in water and air at 290 ℃ was investigated by using a CF cracking machine and a scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. The cracks were initiated successively at the persistent stip bands （PSBs）, phase boundaries （PBs） and pitting corrosion points （PCPs） of the specimens when they were tested in water at 290 ℃, while in airat 290 ℃ the cracks were only initiated at the PSBs and PBs. And the cracks were found mainly to initiate at the PSBs and PBs when the specimens were tested in water and air at 290 ℃, respectively. The results also reveal that the cracks were likely to be initiated at the first 20% of fatigue life of the specimens tested in water at 290 ℃. However, the cracks were not found until 50% of fatigue life when tested in air at 290 ℃. Moreover, the crack numbers of the specimens tested in water at 290 ℃ were much more than those tested in air at 290 ℃.

Satellite edge computing has garnered significant attention from researchers;however,processing a large volume of tasks within multi-node satellite networks still poses considerable *** sharp increase in user demand for latency-sensitive tasks has inevitably led to offloading bottlenecks and insufficient computational capacity on individual satellite edge servers,making it necessary to implement effective task offloading scheduling to enhance user *** this paper,we propose a priority-based task scheduling strategy based on a Software-Defined Network(SDN)framework for satellite-terrestrial integrated networks,which clarifies the execution order of tasks based on their ***,we apply a Dueling-Double Deep q-Network(DDqN)algorithm enhanced with prioritized experience replay to derive a computation offloading strategy,improving the experience replay mechanism within the Dueling-DDqN ***,we utilize the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(DDPG)algorithm to determine the optimal resource allocation strategy to reduce the processing latency of *** results demonstrate that the proposed d3-DDPG algorithm outperforms other approaches,effectively reducing task processing latency and thus improving user experience and system efficiency.

Density functional theory was employed to investigate the bismuth segregation at Cu/Cu3Sn（010） interface. Five initial constructions were introduced by adopting the adhesion energy criterion. Among them, the so-called ＂between-Cu＂ construction in which the interface Cu atoms of Cu slab locate along Cu-Cu bond direction in Cu3Sn slab was found to be the most energy-favored at an adhesion energy of 1.96 J/m^2. Based on this construction, five possible segregation sites were examined, and the most likely segregation site was determined with adhesion energy as low as 1.06 J/m^2, which was almost half of the initial one. Comparing with other sitest adhesion energies, it was concluded that size effect took a large part in embrittlement. The analyses of atomic structure and electronic density revealed that the slabs shifted away from interfaces due to bismuth segregation, and the atoms around Bi atom were Dressed away. This calculated work agreed aualitativelv with reported experimental results.

Large-scale flower-shaped Mn doped ZnO nanostructures have been grown on silicon substrates by simple thermal evaporation at atmospheric *** flower-shaped nanostructure makes up of many nanorods,which are rooted in one *** of X-ray diffraction,high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectra results reveal that the products are of single phase with wurtzite *** mapping results show that no impurity clusters exist in the doped *** photoluminescence spectra demonstrate that many oxygen vacancies exist in the doped materials,and the crystal quality is improved and the content of oxygen vacancies is decreased by annealing *** flower-shaped Mn doped ZnO nanostructures exhibit ferromagnetic ordering above room temperature,and its magnetization is decreased by the annealing treatment,which indicates that the magnetic behavior of the doped materials may be related to the interaction between Mn doping and the oxygen vacancies.

Natural and artificial chiral materials such as deoxyribonucleic acid （DNA）, chromatin fibers, flagellar filaments, chiral nanotubes, and chiral lattice materials widely exist. Due to the chirality of intricately helical or twisted microstructures, such materials hold great promise for use in diverse applications in smart sensors and actuators, force probes in biomedical engineering, structural elements for absorption of microwaves and elastic waves, etc. In this paper, a Timoshenko beam model for chiral materials is developed based on noncentrosymmetric micropolar elasticity theory. The governing equations and boundary conditions for a chiral beam problem are derived using the variational method and Hamilton＇s principle. The static bending and free vibration problem of a chiral beam are investigated using the proposed model. It is found that chirality can significantly affect the mechanical behavior of beams, making materials more flexible compared with nonchiral counterparts, inducing coupled twisting deformation, relatively larger deflection, and lower natural frequency. This study is helpful not only for understanding the mechanical behavior of chiral materials such as DNA and chromatin fibers and characterizing their mechanical properties, but also for the design of hierarchically structured chiral materials.

A 6 mm-thick SiCp/2009AI composite plate was successfully joined by friction stir welding （FSW） using an ultrahard material tool to investigate the evolution of the microstructure and the strength in the nugget zone （NZ）. While some SiC particles were broken up during FSW, most of them rotated in the matrix. Large compound particles on the interfaces were broken off during FSW, whereas the amorphous layer and small compound particles remained on the interfaces. The dynamically recrystallized AI grains nucleated on the surface of fractured SiC particles during FSW, forming nano-sized grains around the SiC particles. The yield strength of the NZ decreased slightly due to the variation in the size, shape, and distribution of the SiC particles. The clean interfaces were beneficial to the load transfer between SiC particles and AI matrix and then increased the ultimate tensile strength of the NZ.

White-light continuum can be induced by the interaction of intense femtosecond laser pulses with condensed *** using two orthogonal polarizers,a self-induced birefringence of continuum is observed when focusing femtosecond laser pulses into bulk fused *** is,the generated white-light continuum is synchronously modulated anisotropically while propagating in fused ***-resolved detection confirms that self-induced birefringence of continuum shows a growth and saturation feature with time *** adjusting laser energy,the transmitted intensity of continuum modulated by self-induced birefringence also varies *** analysis with time evolution indicates that it is the focused femtosecond laser pulses that induce anisotropic microstructures in bulk fused silica,and the anisotropic structures at the same time modulate the generated continuum.

A model of coupling macro finite volume method(FVM) and cellular automata(CA) is proposed in this paper to explore the columnar-to-equiaxed transition(CET) during selective laser melting(SLM) of rare earth magnesium *** into account the impact of recoil pressure and Marangoni convection on the molten pool temperature field,the grain structure is *** suggested by the simulation results,with the undissolved Zr serving as heterogeneous nucleation sites,the liquid undercooled layer under the combined action of forced cooling,the temperature gradient and the liquid solute concentration gradient leads to *** considering the dissolution of Zr in magnesium matrix,the results demonstrate that the dissolution of element Zr is effective in significantly inhibiting the growth of columnar crystals and ensuring the sufficient constitutional supercooling(CS) required for *** addition,to raise the preheating temperature contributes to enhancing the outcome of nucleation and incresing the grain *** the interdependence model(IM),with the cooling rate gradually increasing in the SLM process of magnesium alloy,the nucleation-free zone(NFZ) reduces by decreasing the solute diffusion layer in the front of the solid/liquid(SL) interface and the temperature *** reduction in temperature gradient can promote undercooling for nucleation and facilitate the development of equiaxed *** simulation results are qualitatively verified as highly consistent through experimentation.
