This paper.pr.sents a r.liability analysis of the pseudo-static seismic bear.ng capacity of a str.p foundation using the limit equilibr.um theor.. The fir.t-or.er.r.liability method(FOr.) is employed to calculate the r.liability index. The r.sponse sur.ace methodology(r.M) is used to assess the Hasofer.e Lind r.liability index and then it is optimized using a genetic algor.thm(GA). The r.ndom var.ables used ar. the soil shear.str.ngth par.meter. and the seismic coefficients(khand kv). Two assumptions(nor.al and non-nor.al distr.bution) ar. used for.the r.ndom var.ables. The assumption of uncor.elated var.ables was found to be conser.ative in compar.son to that of negatively cor.elated soil shear.str.ngth par.meter.. The assumption of non-nor.al distr.bution for.the r.ndom var.ables can induce a negative effect on the r.liability index of the pr.ctical r.nge of the seismic bear.ng capacity.

Bionic sur.ace str.ctur.s, inspir.d by the flor., wer. developed for.Sheet-Bulk Metal For.ing （SBMF） in or.er.to locally contr.l the fr.ction condition by adjusting the wetting behavior. Five bionic str.ctur.s wer. micr.milled on ASP 2023 in annealed as well as har.ened and temper.d conditions. Subsequently, the str.ctur.d sur.aces wer. plasma-nitr.ded and coated with a Cr.1N thin film. The influence of the tr.atment method on the str.ctur.l geometr. was investigated with the aid of a scanning electr.n micr.scope and 3D-pr.filometer. The wetting behavior. of water.and deep dr.wing oil （Ber.fluid ST6007） on bionic sur.aces wer. evaluated using contact angle measur.ments. The r.sulting micr.-milled str.ctur.s exhibit an almost identical shape as their.bionic models. However. the r.ughness of the str.ctur.d sur.aces is influenced by the micr.str.ctur.. The combination of plasma-nitr.ding and Physical Vapor.Deposition （PVD） leads to an incr.ase in r.ughness. All bionic str.c- tur.s possess higher.contact angles than that of the unstr.ctur.d sur.aces when wetted by water. This can be explained by the fact that the str.ctur.l elevations block the spr.ading. When the bionic sur.aces ar. wetted by deep dr.wing oil, the lubr.cant spr.ads in the str.ctur.l cavities, leading to smaller.contact angles. Fur.her.or., the anisotr.py of the str.ctur. has an influence on the wetting behavior.

Motivated by the exper.mental measur.ments of D0 r.diative decay modes, we have pr.posed a model to study the D0→ K＊0γ decay, by establishing a link with D0→ K＊0V （V=ρ0, ω） decays thr.ugh the vector.meson dominance hypothesis. In or.er.to do this pr.per.y, we have used the Lagr.ngians fr.m the local hidden gauge symmetr. appr.ach to account for.Vγ conver.ion. As a r.sult, we have found the br.nching r.tio B[D0→ K＊0γ]=（1.55-3.44）×10-4, which is in fair.agr.ement with the exper.mental values r.por.ed by the Belle and BaBar.collabor.tions.

Data fr.m the Advanced National Seismic System (ANSS) of Souther. Califor.ia wer. used to ver.fy the r.lationship between time differ.nces between consecutive seismic events with magnitudes gr.ater.than 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 thr.ugh the modeling of neur.l networ.s. The pr.blem we ar. analyzing is time differ.nces between seismological events and how these data can be adopted as a time ser.es with non linear.char.cter.stic. We ar. ther.for. using the multilayer.per.eptr.n neur.l networ. system with a backpr.pagation lear.ing algor.thm, because its char.cter.stics allow for.the analysis of non-linear.data in or.er.to obtain statistical r.sults r.gar.ing the pr.babilistic for.cast of tr.mor.occur.ence.
