The evaluation of reservoir quality was accomplished on the Late Paleocene to Early Eocene Narimba Formation in Bass Basin,*** study involved combination methods such as petrophysical analysis,petrography and sedimentological studies,reservoir quality and fluid flow units from derivative parameters,and capillary pressure and wetting fluid saturation *** and diagenetic features are affecting the reservoir ***,compaction,and presence of clay minerals such as kaolinite are found to reduce the quality while dissolution and secondary porosity are noticed to improve *** is believed that the Narimba Formation is a potential reservoir with a wide range of porosity and *** ranges from 3.1%to 25.4%with a mean of 15.84%,while permeability ranges between 0.01 mD and 510 mD,with a mean of 31.05 *** on the heterogenous lithology,the formation has been categorized into five groups based on permeability *** I showed an excellent to good quality reservoir with coarse *** impacts of both textural and diagenetic features improve the reservoir and producing higher reservoir quality index(RQI)and flow zone indicators(FZI)as well as mostly mega *** non-wetting fluid migration has the higher possibility to flow in the formation while displacement pressure recorded as *** II showed a fair quality reservoir with lower petrophysical properties in macro *** irreducible water saturation is increasing while the textural and digenetic properties are still enhancing the reservoir *** III reflects lower quality reservoir with mostly macro pores and higher displacement *** may indicate smaller grain size and increasing amount of cement and clay *** IV,and V are interpreted as a poor-quality reservoir that has lower RQI and *** textural and digenetic features are negatively affecting the reservoir and are leading to smaller pore size and pore throat radii(r35)

目的:制备装载近红外荧光探针吲哚菁绿(ICG)的磁性聚乳酸-羟基乙酸共聚物(PLGA)纳米探针,并利用小动物活体成像技术观察ICG磁性PLGA纳米粒的脑靶向作用。方法:取ICG、PLGA和四氧化三铁纳米颗粒采用纳米沉淀法制备ICG磁性PLGA纳米粒,采用激光粒度分析仪检测其粒径、聚合物分散性指数(PDI)及Zeta电位分布,采用透射电镜观察其外貌和粒径大小,采用紫外可见吸收光谱法和原子吸收分光光度法测定ICG和四氧化三铁纳米粒的包封率和载药量;取NOD/SCID gamma(NSG)小鼠4只,其中头部放置和不放置磁铁各2只,同时尾静脉注射ICG磁性PLGA纳米粒后,采用小动物荧光成像仪观察活体及取脑前后活体动物、离体脑部的荧光成像,并利用系统自带的分子成像软件对离体脑部的近红外荧光进行定量分析。结果:本实验制备得到球形ICG磁性PLGA纳米粒,粒径为(172.77±2.14)nm,PDI为(0.225±0.015),Zeta电位为(-4.18±0.67)m V,ICG和四氧化三铁纳米粒的包封率分别为61.8%和40.1%,载药量分别为0.165%和0.042%;小动物活体荧光成像仪结果显示,ICG磁性PLGA纳米粒在磁场作用1 h后向NSG小鼠头部聚集;取脑部组织定量分析结果表明,经磁场作用的ICG磁性PLGA纳米粒在NSG小鼠头部的荧光强度约为无磁场作用NSG小鼠的1.2倍。结论:成功制备得到符合动物实验要求的球形ICG磁性PLGA纳米粒,且在磁场作用下具有一定的脑靶向作用。

AIM:To investigate the short-term effects of commercially available eyelid-cleaning wipes on film ***:This study enrolled 48 healthy participants aged 20-35y(both males and females).Clinical assessment included the Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)questionnaire,non-invasive tear break-up time(NITBUT),tear meniscus height(TMH),and lipid layer pattern(LLP).Based on these initial results,participants were categorized as either non-dry eye or dry *** in each group were randomly allocated to either Blephaclean■or Systane■*** in NITBUT,TMH,and LLP levels before and after lid wipe treatment were ***:The dry eye group exhibited significantly higher OSDI scores and lower NITBUT and TMH levels than in the non-dry eye group(Pal increase in TMH and NITBUT levels,these changes did not achieve statistical significance(P>0.05).Similarly,the LLP levels were significantly improved with Systane■(Pals in the non-dry eye ***,the dry eye subjects showed higher posttreatment LLP levels than the untreated group(Pal to justify their cost effectiveness and efficacy in treating both aqueous deficiency and evaporative dryness.

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of pomegranate(Punica granatum) peel extract as an alternative treatment on the white laboratory mice against ***: Experimental animals were divided into five groups, including Group A:control(infected untreated), Group B: infected and fed with pectin 7 days before infection, Group C: infected and fed with pectin starting from 7th day of infection,Group D: infected and fed with pomegranate peel extract 7 days before infection, and Group E: infected and fed with pomegranate peel extract starting from 7th day of ***: Results from this study revealed that the prevention rate in the experimental groups reached approximately 50% by the 10 th day of using pomegranate peel ***, stool cyst counts of groups showed a significant reduction in the shedding of cysts approximately 75.6% by day 20 post-infection. ELISA test showed a reduction in Giardia antigen in the stools of the experimental groups which received pomegranate peel extract. The cure rate of these groups was approximately 97.4% by 28 th day of ***: Our present findings indicated that the pomegranate peel extract proved to be valuable in prevention and treatment of Giardia lamblia infection. Further studies are required to determine the effective dose of pomegranate peel extract against Giardia lamblia infection.

The severity of the hot and humid conditions to which miners are exposed increases as the depth of the work site *** can cause heat stress that can greatly affect the health and safety of *** resolve this,a cooling garment has been developed that uses an atmospheric discharge of liquid CO2 to create a cool microclimate with an average temperature of 12.5(±0.4)℃ beneath the *** evaluate the garment's cooling efficiency,19 male subjects participated in an experimental *** two modes,cooling on and off,were *** physiological differences were found between the two modes after minute 27(pal body temperature(maximum difference of 0.33℃).It was found that the modes also affected the subjects'*** ON-mode was associated with better well-being and thermal comfort,and reduced humidity *** of exertion were lower in the ON-mode condition from minute *** findings provide strong evidence of the ability of this cooling garment to reduce heat stress in hot and humid conditions similar to those encountered in deep mines.

BACKGROUND Contemporary innovations in the area of local anesthesia have attempted to provide an absolutely pain free experience for *** the introduction of Computer-Controlled Local Anesthetic Delivery Systems to dentistry,many studies have compared its efficacy and safety to conventional ***,very few studies have compared single tooth anesthesia(STA)and traditional local *** To compare pain rating,changes in blood pressure,and heart rate during the local anesthetic *** secondary objectives were to measure the patients’level of satisfaction and the differences in anesthetic efficiency between the STA system and traditional local *** A randomized controlled trial was conducted and a total of 80 patients with dental restorative needs were enrolled for the *** patients were evaluated for their general physical status and oral clinical findings before *** regarding perceived pain,changes in heart rate and blood pressure,and patients’satisfaction was collected using an electronic data form and was analyzed using paired and unpaired *** No significant difference was noted in perceived pain(P=0.59)and systolic blood pressure(P=0.09)during anesthetic injection using both traditional and STA *** patients had a significantly higher heart rate during anesthesia,although a statistically significant difference was noted among the traditional anesthesia and the STA groups even before *** the restorative procedure,less pain was perceived by STA patients on the Wong-Baker FACES pain scale,which was statistically significant(Palyses of post-procedure patient responses showed that STA patients had a significantly better treatment experience and preferred to have the same method of injection in the future(P=0.04).CONCLUSION STA system can provide less painful and more comfortable restorative treatment procedures in comparison to the traditional infil

Surface Electromyography(sEMG)plays a key role in many applications such as control of Human-Machine Interfaces(HMI)and neuromusculoskeletal *** has strongly nonlinear relations to joint kinematics and reflects the subjects’intention in moving their *** relations have been traditionally examined by either integrated biomechanics and multi-body dynamics or gesture-based classification ***,these methods have drawbacks that limit their *** from them,joint kinematics can be continuously reconstructed from sEMG via estimation approaches,for instance,the Artificial Neural Networks(ANNs).The Comparison of different ANNs used in different studies is difficult,and in many cases,*** current study focuses on fairly evaluating four types of ANN over the same dataset and conditions in proportional and simultaneous estimation of 15 hand joint angles from 10 sEMG *** presented ANNs are Feedforward,Cascade-Forward,Radial Basis Function(RBFNN),and Generalized Regression(GRNN).Each ANN is applied to its special parametric *** the methods efficiently solved the regression problem of the complex multi-input multi-output *** RBFNN has the best performance over the others with a 79.80%mean correlation coefficient over all joints,and its accuracy reaches as high as 92.67%in some ***,the highest accuracy over individual joints is 93.46%,which is achieved via the *** good accuracy suggests that the proposed approaches can be used as alternatives to the previously adopted ones and can be employed effectively to synchronously control multi-degrees of freedom HMI and for general multi-joint kinematics estimation purposes.

This paper deals with the design of a nonlinear observer for sensorless induction motor control. Based upon the circle criterion approach, a nonlinear observer is designed to estimate pertinent but unmeasurable state variables of the considered induction machine for sensorless control purpose. The observer gain matrices are computed as a solution of linear matrix inequalities(LMI) that ensure the stability conditions of the state observer error dynamics in the sense of Lyapunov concepts. Measured and estimated state variables can be exploited to perform a state feedback control of the machine system. The simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach for nonlinear observer design.

The stabilization problem for a class of linear continuous-time systems with time-varying non differentiable delay is solved while imposing positivity in closed-loop. In particular, the synthesis of state-feedback controllers is studied by giving sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). The obtained results are then extended to systems with non positive delay matrix by applying a memory controller. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by using numerical examples.
