A Low-Cost and High-Performance Cryptosystem Using Tripling-Oriented Elliptic Curve

Developing a high-performance public key cryptosystem is crucial for numerous modern security *** Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem(ECC)has performance and resource-saving advantages compared to other types of asymmetric ***,the sequential design implementation for ECC does not satisfy the current applications’performance ***,several factors should be considered to boost the cryptosystem performance,including the coordinate system,the scalar multiplication algo-rithm,and the elliptic curve *** tripling-oriented(3DIK)form is imple-mented in this work due to its minimal computational complexity compared to other elliptic curves *** experimental study explores the factors playing an important role in ECC performance to determine the best combi-nation that leads to developing high-speed *** proposed cryptosystem uses parallel software implementation to speed up ECC *** our knowledge,previous studies have no similar software implementation for 3DIK *** by using parallel design,projective coordinates,and a fast scalar multiplication algorithm,the proposed 3DIK ECC improved the speed of the encryption process compared with other counterparts and the usual sequential *** highest performance level for 3DIK ECC was achieved when it was implemented using the Non-Adjacent Form algorithm and homogenous *** to the costly hardware implementations,the proposed software implementation is cost effective and can be easily adapted to other *** addition,the power con-sumption of the proposed ECC is analyzed and compared with other known ***,the current study presents a detailed overview of the design and implementation of 3DIK ECC.

Circle-criterion Based Nonlinear Observer Design for sensorless Induction Motor Control

This paper deals with the design of a nonlinear observer for sensorless induction motor control. Based upon the circle criterion approach, a nonlinear observer is designed to estimate pertinent but unmeasurable state variables of the considered induction machine for sensorless control purpose. The observer gain matrices are computed as a solution of linear matrix inequalities(LMI) that ensure the stability conditions of the state observer error dynamics in the sense of Lyapunov concepts. Measured and estimated state variables can be exploited to perform a state feedback control of the machine system. The simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach for nonlinear observer design.

The stabilization problem for a class of linear continuous-time systems with time-varying non differentiable delay is solved while imposing positivity in closed-loop. In particular, the synthesis of state-feedback controllers is studied by giving sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). The obtained results are then extended to systems with non positive delay matrix by applying a memory controller. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by using numerical examples.

Generating synthetic Data to Reduce Prediction Error of Energy Consumption

Air/CO2 cooling garment: Description and benefits of use for subjects exposed to a hot and humid climate during physical activities

The severity of the hot and humid conditions to which miners are exposed increases as the depth of the work site *** can cause heat stress that can greatly affect the health and safety of *** resolve this,a cooling garment has been developed that uses an atmospheric discharge of liquid CO2 to create a cool microclimate with an average temperature of 12.5(±0.4)℃ beneath the *** evaluate the garment's cooling efficiency,19 male subjects participated in an experimental *** two modes,cooling on and off,were *** physiological differences were found between the two modes after minute 27(pse for the heart rate(maximum difference of 10 beats per minute)and the internal body temperature(maximum difference of 0.33℃).It was found that the modes also affected the subjects'*** ON-mode was associated with better well-being and thermal comfort,and reduced humidity *** of exertion were lower in the ON-mode condition from minute *** findings provide strong evidence of the ability of this cooling garment to reduce heat stress in hot and humid conditions similar to those encountered in deep mines.

Production and Characterization of High Density Polyethylene Reinforced by Eucalyptus Capsule Fibers

In this work, Eucalyptus Capsule Fibers （ECF） are proposed as a new natural fiber reinforcement to produce bio-composites due to their biological origin, specific smell and color. High Density Polyethylene （HDPE） is used as the matrix to compare three reinforcement types, raw ECF, alkali treated ECF, and ECF treated with PE-graft-maleic anhydride （PE-g-MA） as a coupling agent at three concentrations （5 wt.%, 10 wt%, and 15 wt%）. A complete set of characterization is performed including tension, torsion, hardness, Melt Flow Index （MFI）, Attenuated Total Reflection Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy （ATR-FTIR）, Contact Angle （CA）, scanning Electron Microscopy （sEM）, Thermogravimetric Analysis （TGA） and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis （DMA）. The results show that the best mechanical and rheological improvements are obtained by using the coupling agent with alkali treated fibers.

A Comparison between sabra and Alfa Fibers in Rubber Biocomposites

The main objective of this investigation is to valorize a Moroccan crop residue(sabra fibers,Agave Americana L.)and to compare with Alfa fibers(,stipa tenacissima L.)as reinforcement in an elastomeric matrix in term of the relaxation properties,mechanical and rheological *** preparation and properties of these two natural fibers embedded in styrene-Butadiene Rubber(sBR)are presented with and without the addition of styrene-Ethylene-Butadiene-styrene grafted with Maleic Anhydride(sEBs-g-MA)as a coupling *** different series(sBR,sBR/Alfa,sBR/Alfa/sEBs,sBR/sabra and sBR/sabra/sEBs)were compounded by extrusion and compression *** a result,the addition of the coupling agent in the elastomeric matrix improves the relaxation properties,mechanical and rheological ***,sabra fibers show the good results compared to Alfa ***,the Zener model was used to determine the rheological time response of the composites.A good agreement between the experimental data and the model was observed(R^2=0.99).

AIM: To measure biochemical parameters in stomach biopsies and test their suitability as diagnostic biomarkers for gastritis and precancerous ***: Biopsies were obtained from the stomachs of two groups of patients(n = 40) undergoing fiberoptic endoscopy due to upper gastrointestinal symptoms. In the first group(n = 17), only the corpus region was examined. Biopsies were processed for microscopic examination and measurement of mitochondrial O2 consumption(cellular respiration), cellular adenosine triphosphate(ATP), glutathione(GsH), and caspase activity. In the second group of patients(n = 23), both corpus and antral regions were studied. some biopsies were processed for microscopic examination, while the others were used for measurements of cellular respiration and GsH ***: Microscopic examinations of gastric corpus biopsies from 17 patients revealed normal mucosae in 8 patients, superficial gastritis in 7 patients, and chronic atrophic gastritis in 1 patient. In patients with normal histology, the rate(mean ± sD) of cellular respiration was 0.17 ± 0.02 μmol/L O2 min-1 mg-1, ATP content was 487 ± 493 pmol/mg, and GsH was 469 ± 98 pmol/mg. Caspase activity was detected in 3 out of 8 specimens. The values of ATP and caspase activity were highly variable. The presence of superficial gastritis had insignificant effects on the measured biomarkers. In the patient with atrophic gastritis, cellular respiration was high andATP was relatively low, suggesting uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation. In the second cohort of patients, the examined biopsies showed either normal or superficial gastritis. The rate of cellular respiration(O2. μmol/L min-1 mg-1) was slightly higher in the corpus than the antrum(0.18 ± 0.05 vs 0.15 ± 0.04, P = 0.019). The value of GsH was about the same in both tissues(310 ± 135 vs 322 ± 155, P = 0.692).CONCLUsION: The corpus mucosa was metabolically more active than the antrum tissue. Three groups of female rats （n=6 per group） were exposed to 1 and 10 mg/L of sodium arsenate for 90 days. The antioxidant and peroxidation parameters in kidney and liver tissues were evaluated, also the fatty acid composition were determined. In liver the synthesis pathway of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids （PUFA） seemed to be more affected than the n-6 PUFA, while in kidney the n-6 pathway was more affected.
