Logic-in-memory cell enabling binary and ternary Boolean logics

In computing systems, processing and memory units have been integrated into logic-in-memory (LiM) to enhance the computational efficiency and performance. LiM has been attempted to perform not only binary but also ternary logic functions, which reduces computing complexity. Herein, we demonstrate a binary and ternary LiM (Bt-LiM) cell with eight triple-gated (tG) feedback field-effect transistors (FBFEts) reconfigured into n-or p-channel modes. the tG FBFEts exhibit symmetrical latch-up voltages and an on-current ratio of 1.02 between the n-and p-channel modes, which indicates a high potential for reconfigurable logic applications. the Bt-LiM cell can perform YES, NOt, AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XNOR, and XOR logic functions in a single cell because of these reconfigurable characteristics. Further, binary and ternary logic functions are realized in the cell without a programming stage, and the cell maintains the results of the logic functions under zero-bias conditions. this study achieves multifunctional LiM that can operate all binary and ternary Boolean logics.

Background:Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)are effective in a subset of patients with metastatic solid ***,the patients who would benefit most from ICIs in biliary tract cancer(BtC)are still *** and methods:we molecularly characterized tissues and blood from 32 patients with metastatic BtC treated with the ICI pembrolizumab as second-line ***:All patients had microsatellite stable(MSS)type *** of the 32 patients achieved partial response(PR),with an objective response rate(ORR)of 9.4%(95%confidence interval[CI],2.0–25.2)and nine showed stable disease(SD),exhibiting a disease control rate(DCR)of 37.5%(95%CI,21.1–56.3).For the 31 patients who had access to PD-1 ligand 1(PD-L1)combined positive score(CPS)testing(cut-off value≥1%),the ORR was not different between those who had PD-L1-positive(PD-L1+;1/11,9.1%)and PDL1-(2/20,10.0%)tumors(p=1.000).the tumor mutational burden(tMB)of PD-L1+BtC was comparable to that of PD-L1-BtC(p=0.630).tMB and any exonic somatic mutations were also not predictive of pembrolizumab *** analysis of blood and tumor samples demonstrated a relatively high natural killer(NK)cell proportion in the peripheral blood before pembrolizumab treatment in patients who achieved tumor ***,the tumors of these patients presented high enrichment scores for NK cells,antitumor cytokines,and th1 signatures,and a low enrichment score for cancer-associated ***:this study shows the molecular characteristics associated with the efficacy of pembrolizumab in BtC of the MSS type.

Currently, there are a limited number of dynamic models available for braided composite plates with large overall motions, despite the incorporation of three-dimensional(3D) braided composites into rotating blade components. In this paper, a dynamic model of 3D 4-directional braided composite thin plates considering braiding directions is established. Based on Kirchhoff's plate assumptions, the displacement variables of the plate are expressed. By incorporating the braiding directions into the constitutive equation of the braided composites, the dynamic model of the plate considering braiding directions is obtained. the effects of the speeds, braiding directions, and braided angles on the responses of the plate with fixed-axis rotation and translational motion, respectively, are investigated. this paper presents a dynamic theory for calculating the deformation of 3D braided composite structures undergoing both translational and rotational motions. It also provides a simulation method for investigating the dynamic behavior of non-isotropic material plates in various applications.

Modeling of suspended sediment particle movement in surface water can be achieved by stochastic particle tracking model *** this paper,different mathematical forms of particle tracking models are introduced to describe particle movement under various flow conditions,i.e.,the stochastic diffusion process,stochastic jump process,and stochastic jump diffusion *** the stochastic diffusion process can be used to represent the stochastic movement of suspended particles in turbulent flows,the stochastic jump and the stochastic jump diffusion processes can be used to describe suspended particle movement in the occurrences of a sequence of extreme *** extreme flow herein is defined as a hydrologic flow event or a hydrodynamic flow phenomenon with a low probability of occurrence and a high impact on its ambient flow *** this paper,the suspended sediment particle is assumed to immediately follow the extreme flows in the jump process(*** time lag between the flow particle and the sediment particle in extreme flows is considered negligible).In the proposed particle tracking models,a random term mainly caused by fluid eddy motions is modeled as a wiener process,while the random occurrences of a sequence of extreme flows can be modeled as a Poisson *** frequency of occurrence of the extreme flows in the proposed particle tracking model can be explicitly accounted for by the Poisson process when evaluating particle *** ensemble mean and variance of particle trajectory can be obtained from the proposed stochastic models via *** ensemble mean and variance of particle velocity are verified with available *** of the proposed stochastic particle tracking models for sediment transport modeling is also discussed.
