The design of heat exchangers in the advanced supercritical power conversion system cannot be separated from the study of heat transfer ***-side heating mode is often encountered for solar receiver and supercritical ***,the characteristics of supercritical CO_(2)(sCO_(2))convection heat transfer in vertical tubes with circumferentially half-side heating was numerically investigated through the SST k-ωturbulent model w.ich matches well with the experimental ***,heat transfer between sCO_(2)upflow and downflow was *** to film boiling heat transfer at subcritical pressure,numerical results were processed according to the supercritical pseudo-phase transition hypothesis,with liquid-like phase in the tube core region and vapor-like film in the region near the heated tube *** structure of two layers was demarcated by pseudo-critical temperature T_(pc).Therefore,sCO_(2)heat transfer was assessed according to double thermal resistances caused by vapor-like film near the wall and core liquid-like *** findings suggest that wall temperature for upflow.is higher than that for downflow,w.ich is attributed to larger thermal resistance in the fluid domain for upflow than that for *** difference guarantees the excellent heat transfer performance for downflow than *** is also further concluded that the formation of vapor-like film near the wall due to pseudo-phase transition plays a key role in dominating wall temperature and inducing heat transfer deterioration in half-side heating *** present contribution is significant to the design of supercritical heat exchanger under half-side heating mode.

The development of environmentally friendly catalysts has become a top priority for acetylene hydrochlorination. However, difficulties remain in systematic studies on the applicability of kinetic models for the industrialization of Cu-based catalysts. Therefore, a strategy involving reactor modeling, parameter estimation, and model testing is developed to evaluate the predictive ability of kinetic models. in order to search for reliable and widely applicable reaction kinetic models for Cu-based catalysts, a case study is conducted. Multiple possible kinetic models derived from the power law, adsorption mechanism, and reaction path are sifted through collecting and testing activity data from tens of Cu-based catalysts. Different optimum applicable ranges of these kinetic models are presented. According to the comparative analysis on their applications in various industrial scenarios, this research suggests that kinetic models derived from reaction path exhibits the best extrapolation ability and has the greatest potential for application in the scale-up design of reactors. in a deregulated Var market, market power issue is more serious than in an energy market since reactive power cannot be transmitted over long distances. This letter designs a multi-timescale Var market framework, where market power that may arise in the hourly-ahead Var support service market due to system configuration deficiency and market structure flaws can be eliminated by day-ahead contract-based Var reserve service market. Settlement of day-ahead Var reserve contract is formulated as a two-stage robust optimization (TSRO) model considering worst case of uncertainty realization and potential market power that may arise in hourly-ahead market. TSRO with integer recourses is then solved by a new column and constraint generation algorithm. Results show a robust Var reserve contract can fully eliminate market power, and prevent suppliers from manipulating market prices.

The yield ratios of neutron-proton(R(n/p))and^(3)H-^(3)He(R(^(3)H∕^(3)He))with reduced rapidity from 0 to 0.5 were simulated at 50 MeV/u even-even ^(36−56)Ca+^(40)Ca,even-even ^(48−78)Ni+^(58)Ni,and ^(100−139)Sn(every third isotopes)+112 Sn for full reduced impact parameters using the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics(iQMD)*** neutron and proton density distributions and root-mean-square radii of the reaction systems were obtained using the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock model,w.ich was used for the phase space initialization of the projectile and target in *** defined the unified neutron skin thickness asΔRnp=^(1∕2) n−^(1∕2)p,w.ich was negative for neutron-deficient *** unifiedΔRnp values for nuclei with the same relative neutron excess from different isotopic chains were nearly equal,except for extreme neutron-rich isotopes,w.ich is a type of scaling *** yield ratios of the three isotopic chain-induced reactions,w.ich depended on the reduced impact parameter and unified neutron skin thickness,were *** results showed that both R(n/p)and R(^(3)H∕^(3)He)decreased with a reduced impact parameter for extreme neutron-deficient isotopes;however,they increased with reduced impact parameters for extreme neutron-rich isotopes,and increased with theΔRnp of the projectiles for all reduced impact *** addition,a scaling phenomenon was observed betweenΔR np and the yield ratios in peripheral colli-sions from different isotopic chain projectiles(except for extreme neutron-rich isotopes).Thus,R(n/p)and R(^(3)H∕^(3)He)from peripheral collisions were suggested as experimental probes for extracting the neutron or proton skin thicknesses of non-extreme neutron-rich nuclei from different isotopic chains.

in this study,we systematically investigated the effect of proton concentration on the kinetics of the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)on Pt(111)in acidic *** results demonstrate a rectangular hyperbolic relationship,i.e.,the ORR current excluding the effect of other variables increases with proton concentration and then tends to a constant *** consider that this is caused by the limitation of ORR kinetics by the trace oxygen concentration in the solution,w.ich determines the upper limit of ORR kinetics.A model of effective concentration is further proposed for rectangular hyperbolic relationships:when the reactant concentration is high enough to reach a critical saturation concentration,the effective reactant concentration will become a constant *** could be due to the limited concentration of a certain reactant for reactions involving more than one reactant or the limited number of active sites available on the *** study provides new.insights into the kinetics of electrocatalytic reactions,and it is important for the proper evaluation of catalyst activity and the study of structureperformance relationships.
