Risk prediction of advanced colorectal neoplasia varies by race and neighbourhood socioeconomic status

li metal batteries（LMBs） have attracted much attention due to the ultra-high theoretical capacity of the li metal anode（LMA）.However,the uncontrollable dendrites growth and low coulombic efficiency hinder their practical ***,we explore 3,5-difluoropyridine（2F-BD） as a novel electrolyte additive to enable highperformance *** 2F-BD additive participates in and modifies the solvation structure of li ions by reducing the coordinated number of PF6-at the electrode surface,leading to the formation of a liF and li3N-rich solid electrolyte interphase（sEI）.The liF component increases the robustness of sEI and suppresses the formation of li dendrites,while the li3N component facilitates the transportation and reaction kinetics of li *** a result,the li‖li symmetric cell presents a stable cycling performance of up to 500 h at a current density of 1 mA *** coupling with liFePO4cathode,the obtained full cell achieves high specific capacities of 106.06 mA h g-1and 84.98 mA h g-1at 2.55 mA cm-2and 5.10 mA cm-2,respectively,and maintains a high capacity retention of84.0% after 1000 cycles at 0.13 mA cm-2,with an average cycling CE of 99.58%.

The schrodinger cat state produced differently in two directions is anticipated to be a critical quantum resource in quantum information *** exploring the interplay between quantum nonreciprocity and topology in a one-dimensional microcavity array,we obtain the schrodinger cat state(a pure quantum state)in a chosen direction at the edge cavity,whereas a classical state in the other *** nonreciprocal generation of the cat state originates from the topologically protected chiralitymode excitation in the nontrivial phase,but in the trivial phase,the nonreciprocal generation of cat state ***,our proposal is switchable by tuning the parameters so that a topological phase transition ***,the obtained cat state has nonreciprocal high fidelity,nonclassicality,and quantum coherence,which are sufficient to be used in various one-way quantum technologies,e.g.,invisible quantum sensing,noise-tolerant quantum computing,and chiral quantum *** work provides a general approach to control quantum nonreciprocities with the topological effect,which substantially broadens the fields of nonreciprocal photonics and topological physics.

Erosion Characteristics of Oil-immersed On-load Tap Changer Contacts Under Varying Contact speeds and Pressures

with the growing demand for precise voltage adjustment and reactive regulation,the frequent operation of on-load tap changers(OLTCs)in oil-immersed systems has led to increased erosion of switch contacts by arcs during the switching *** erosion causes significant wear on the contacts,thereby reducing their ***,the present study aims to investigate the behavior and mechanism of arc erosion on contact surfaces in oil-immersed *** achieve this,a self-designed friction and wear test device for OLTC contacts was utilized to conduct experiments at various sliding speeds and contact ***,finite element analysis was employed to validate the experimental results regarding the influence of sliding speed on arc *** surface morphology of the contacts was observed using an optical *** findings revealed that as the sliding speed increased,the arc energy,arc initiation rate,and contact resistance initially exhibited an upward trend,then decreased,and eventually increased *** minimum values were observed at a sliding speed of 90 mm/***,the arc energy,arc initiation rate,and contact resistance decreased gradually as the contact pressure *** reaching a contact pressure of 1.5 N,the variation in the arc energy *** lower contact pressures,arc erosion dominated the wear on the contact ***,at higher contact pressures,the wear transitioned from predominantly arc erosion to a combination of mechanical wear and arc *** summary,experimental and analytical investigations provided insights into the effects of sliding speed and contact pressure on the behavior of arc erosion,contact resistance,and surface damage of OLTC contacts in oil-immersed systems.

Ciliates in the subclass Hypotrichia have long been difficult to classify as they are one of the most polymorphic and highly differentiated groups,leading to their systematics remaining *** relationships within the hypotrich family strongylidiidae have been ambiguous due to discordance between the morphological and genetic *** this study,a new strongylidiid genus Heterouroleptus is established,mainly based on the novel mode of origin of the ventral cirral rows:left ventral cirral row(LVR)originates from frontal-ventral-transverse cirral anlagen(FVTA)Ⅲ(anterior portion),IV(middle portion),and V(rear portion);right ventral cirral row comes from the entire FVTA VI.A new species,Hetero-uroleptus weishanensis ***.,***.,is investigated along with the morphometric and molecular data from a population of strongylidium *** new sequences and nuclear gene markers(single-gene and multi-gene)are provided to analyze the phylogenetic relationships of strongylidiids,with the COI gene utilized to uncover further genetic information at species level and *** results reveal that:(1)strongylidiidae is monophyletic and has a close relationship with Dorsomarginalia;(2)Heterouroleptus *** a clade that is sister to all the other strongylidiids;(3)Hemiamphisiella Foissner,1988 and Pseudouroleptus Hemberger,1985 should not be synonyms,and both genera should be subdivided due to their variable morphological characteristics;(4)LVR originating from three anlagen is a plesiomorphy of *** discovery of the origin of the LVR not only contributes to the establishment of the genus Heterouroleptus,but also helps to improve the diagnosis of the family strongylidiidae.

Niobium telluride(NbTe_(2)),a kind of few-layer two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)material,has been theoretically predicted with nonlinear absorption properties and excellent optical ***,we experimentally demonstrated an Er-doped fiber(EDF)laser based NbTe_(2)as saturable absorber(sA).Few-layer NbTe_(2)nanosheets were successfully prepared by adopting the commonly used liquid-phase exfoliation(LPE)*** nonlinear optical response of highly stable few-layer NbTe_(2)was investigated through an open-aperture Z-scan laser measurement,the nonlinear absorption coefficient was 2.45×10^(-11)m/*** Q-switched and mode-locked operation centered at 1559 nm were recorded based on NbTe_(2)*** pulse duration was varied from 4.88 ms to 1.75 ms,and the adjustable range of repetition frequency is changed from 44.01 kHz to 64.12 kHz in passively Q-switched ***,a constant repetition rate of 5.33 MHz and pulse width of 2.67 ps were observed in mode-locked *** experimental results fully reveal the nonlinear optical prop-erties of NbTe_(2)used in pulsed fiber lasers and broaden its ultrafast applications in the optics field.

Nanoscale Zero-Valent Iron(nZVI)for Heavy Metal wastewater Treatment:A Perspective

Industries such as non-ferrous metal smelting discharge billions of gallons of highly toxic heavy metal wastewater(HMw)worldwide annually,posing a severe challenge to conventional wastewater treatment plants and harming the *** is traditionally treated via chemical precipitation using lime,caustic,or sulfide,but the effluents do not meet the increasingly stringent discharge *** issue has spurred an increase in research and the development of innovative treatment technologies,among which those using nanoparticles receive particular *** such initiatives,treatment using nanoscale zero-valent iron(nZVI)is one of the best *** nZVI is already well known for its site-remediation use,this perspective highlights its application in HMw treatment with metal *** demonstrate several advantages of nZVI in this wastewater application,including its multifunctionality in sequestrating a wide array of metal(loid)s(>30 species);its capability to capture and enrich metal(loid)s at low concentrations(with a removal capacity reaching 500 mg·g^(-1)nZVI);and its operational convenience due to its unique *** these advantages are attributable to nZVI’s diminutive nanoparticle size and/or its unique iron *** also present the first engineering practice of this application,which has treated millions of cubic meters of HMw and recovered tons of valuable metals(e.g.,Cu and Au).It is concluded that nZVI is a potent reagent for treating HMw and that nZVI technology provides an eco-solution to this toxic waste.
