This paper investigates a new resource-allocation problem involving multi-resource operations, where completing an operation requires simultaneous use of multiple(renewable) resources,probably of different types. The goal of the study is to provide a solution method that minimizes the makespan. The authors formulate the problem into a novel mixed-integer linear program(MILp)model. To efficiently solve practical-sized instances, an exact Benders decomposition algorithm is developed. This algorithm divides the original problem into a master problem of allocating resources and a subproblem of calculating the makespan, and both are linked via Benders cuts. The convergence is sped up by improving the mathematical model and embedding the variable neighborhood search algorithm. Compared with CpLEX, a commonly used MILp solver, the computational results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm provides tighter upper and lower bounds in most instances. In particular,compared with CpLEX, the proposed method can on average improve the upper and lower bounds by 4.76% and 4.39%, respectively, in solving practical-sized instances.

The original vector discrete ordinate radiative transfer(VDISORT)model takes into account Stokes radiance vector but derives its solution assuming azimuthal symmetric surface reflective matrix and atmospheric scattering phase matrix,such as the phase matrix derived from spherical particles or randomly oriented non-spherical *** this study,a new VDISORT is developed for general atmospheric scattering and boundary *** vector is decomposed into both sinusoidal and cosinusoidal harmonic modes,and the radiance at arbitrary viewing geometry is solved directly by adding two zero-weighted points in the Gaussian quadrature *** complex eigenvalues in homogeneous solutions are also taken into full *** accuracy of VDISORT model is comprehensively validated by four cases:Rayleigh scattering case,the spherical particle scattering case with the Legendre expansion coefficients of 0th-13th orders of the phase matrix(hereinafter L13),L13 with a polarized source,and the randomoriented oblate particle scattering case with the Legendre expansion coefficients of 0th-11th orders of the phase matrix(hereinafter L11).In all cases,the simulated radiances agree well with the benchmarks,with absolute biases less than 0.0065,0.0006,and 0.0008 for Rayleigh,unpolarized L13,and L11,*** a polarized bidirectional reflection distribution function(pBRDF)matrix is used as the lower boundary condition,VDISORT is now able to handle fully coupled atmospheric and surface polarimetric radiative transfer processes.

In order to increase efficiency and avoid NH^(4+)-N pollution in the leaching process of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores,the mass transfer in heap leaching with Al_(2)(SO_(4))_(3) solution was simulated with column elution and experimentally *** results indicate that the leaching yield is also up to 99%for leaching with aluminum sulfate instead of ammonium *** optimal flow rate is 60 mL/h,the height equivalent to a theoretical plate(HETp)is 1.29 mm *** peak value position of RE^(3+)is 60 mL/h,Fe^(3+)is 100 mL/h,however,Al^(3+)is 150 mL/h,and the heap leaching process has kinetic separation effect.

Generating a realistic person's image from one source pose conditioned on another different target pose is a promising computer vision *** previous mainstream methods mainly focus on exploring the transformation relationship between the keypoint-based source pose and the target pose,but rarely investigate the region-based human semantic *** current methods that adopt the parsing map neither consider the precise local pose-semantic matching issues nor the correspondence between two different *** this study,a Region Semantics-Assisted Generative Adversarial Network(RSA-GAN)is proposed for the pose-guided person image gen-eration *** particular,a regional pose-guided semantic fusion module is first devel-oped to solve the imprecise match issue between the semantic parsing map from a certain source image and the corresponding keypoints in the source *** well align the style of the human in the source image with the target pose,a pose correspondence guided style injection module is designed to learn the correspondence between the source pose and the target *** addition,one gated depth-wise convolutional cross-attention based style integration module is proposed to distribute the well-aligned coarse style information together with the precisely matched pose-guided semantic information to-wards the target *** experimental results indicate that the proposed RSA-GAN achieves a 23%reduction in LpIpS compared to the method without using the seman-tic maps and a 6.9%reduction in FID for the method with semantic maps,respectively,and also shows higher realistic qualitative results.

热带气旋(TC)的暖心反映了其强度和变化.微波探测数据被广泛用于探测TC暖心,但观测到的TC暖心强度可能因仪器而异.本研究利用先进技术微波探测仪(ATMS)的过采样数据重采样至与先进微波探测仪(AMSU-A)一致的亮温,称为类AMSU数据.通过对比发现,ATMS的观测更加细致,较好地刻画了TC眼区和云带.使用ATMS和类-AMSU数据反演多个TC的暖心发现,在250 hpa,使用ATMS数据反演的暖心强度比类-AMSU高约1-2K,并且其暖心结构更详细.
