氢能在冶金领域的应用是实现低碳发展的重要途经之一。目前虽然在富氢高炉和氢基直接还原炼铁领域取得诸多成果,但在碳氢熔融还原炼铁仍有许多不足之处。通过分析碳、CO以及氢气还原熔融态铁氧化物的研究,总结熔融还原过程基本热力学特点,并对影响动力学参数的因素进行分析。结果表明,在熔融温度(1369℃)以上氢气还原FeO在热力学上有一定的优势。还原温度高于1538℃,(即还原物和还原产物都为熔融态),还原气体流量为3 mL/min以及碱度为1.1~1.3时有利于熔融反应的进行。关于碳氢还原熔融态铁氧化物的研究还不充分,还需要进一步解析还原过程、限制环节以及微观机制等。

Metabolic flexibility has emerged as a critical determinant of CD8+T-cell antitumor activity,yet the mechanisms driving the metabolic flexibility of T cells have not been *** this study,we investigated the influence of the nuclear cap-binding complex(CBC)adaptor protein ARS2 on mature T *** doing so,we discovered a novel signaling axis that endows activated CD8+T cells with flexibility of glucose ***2 upregulation driven by CD28 signaling reinforced splicing factor recruitment to pre-mRNAs and affected approximately one-third of T-cell activation-induced alternative splicing *** these effects,the CD28-ARS2 axis suppressed the expression of the M1 isoform of pyruvate kinase in favor of PKM2,a key determinant of CD8+T-cell glucose utilization,interferon gamma production,and antitumor effector ***,PKM alternative splicing occurred independently of CD28-driven Pi3K pathway activation,revealing a novel means by w.ich costimulation reprograms glucose metabolism in CD8+T cells.

High-performance compression sensors have been playing an increasingly important role in human motion detection,health monitoring and human-machine interfaces over recent ***,it remains a great challenge to develop theoretical models providing practical guidance to the sensor ***,carbon black(CB),carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and graphene nanoplatelets(GNPs)were respectively incorporated into porous melamine sponges by a facile approach of dip-coating to fabricate compression *** compression-resistance tests show that the compressibility,stability and piezoresistive sensitivity of sensors could be tailored by the filler type and concentration.A model considering the number of conductive pathways(NCP)is given to describe the relationship between the resistance change and applied compression,show.ng extremely good agreement with the experimental ***,the correlation between the equivalent filler volume fraction and conductivity is described by the other two models proposed by McLachlan and Kirkpatrick,revealing the electrical percolation thresholds(Φc)for the conductive systems under *** the three fillers,CB particles endowed the composite with the best piezoresistive sensitivity but the largestΦc due to its small size and aspect ratio.A combination of experimental study and theoretical model opens up a way of further understanding the piezoresistive sensing behavior as well as optimizing the electrical property and piezoresistivity of compressive conductive polymer composite.

青藏高原及其周边泥盆系分布广泛、类型多样、化石丰富,记录着北半球古亚洲洋的持续消减和南半球原特提斯洋向古特提斯洋转变的关键过程,对阐明这一时期的全球古地理格局、板块运动和生物多样性变化具有重要意义.南天山(洋)缝合带和龙木错-双湖-昌宁-孟连(洋)缝合带两侧的地块分属不同沉积体系和生物古地理区系,指示该洋盆具有显著的构造古地理分隔意义,分别代表了古亚洲洋和古特提斯洋的主支洋盆,以此为界泥盆系可以划分为天山型、特提斯型和冈瓦纳型三种类型.本文主要基于近年来青藏高原及其邻区泥盆纪地层古生物的研究进展,分别提供最新的综合地层格架,并结合沉积物源分析和生物群特征对比进行古地理重建,为探讨青藏高原及其邻区各个块体的早期地质演化及其动力学机制奠定基础.基于碎屑锆石物源分析和生物古地理研究,特提斯喜马拉雅带、保山地块、南羌塘地块、北羌塘地块、思茅地块、腾冲地块和华南板块沉积物源与印度板块具有亲缘性,而拉萨地块与澳大利亚板块具有亲缘性,且可能位于华南板块与澳大利亚板块之间.早泥盆世埃姆斯期,华南板块可能已经从冈瓦纳大陆北缘裂解出来,代表着金沙江-哀牢山洋的打开.中泥盆世,古特提斯洋洋中脊快速扩张,对应着全球海平面上升、碳酸盐岩台地的广泛分布和泥盆纪海水锶同位素的最低值.晚泥盆世古特提斯洋已达到相当规模,最终导致古特提斯缝合带中晚泥盆世放射虫硅质岩大量产出.

Problems with models assessing influences of tree size and inter-tree competitive processes on individual tree growth:a cautionary tale

in forest grow.ng at any one site, the growth rate of an individual tree is determined principally by its size, w.ich reflects its metabolic capacity, and by competition from neighboring trees. Competitive effects of a tree may be proportional to its size;such competition is termed ‘sym-metric’ and generally involves competition below ground for nutrients and water from the soil. Competition may also be ‘asymmetric’, where its effects are disproportionate to the size of the tree;this generally involves competition above ground for sunlight, when larger trees shade smaller, but the reverse cannot occur. This work examines three model systems often seen as exemplars relating individual tree growth rates to tree size and both competitive processes. data of tree stem basal area growth rates in plots of even- aged, monoculture forest of blackbutt (Eucalyptus pilularis Smith) grow.ng in sub-tropical eastern Australia were used to test these systems. it was found that none could distin-guish between size and competitive effects at any time in any one stand and, thus, allow quantification of the contribution of each to explaining tree growth rates. They were prevented from doing so both by collinearity between the terms used to describe each of the effects and technical problems involved in the use of nonlinear least-squares regression to fit the models to any one data set. it is concluded that quite new approaches need to be devised if the effects on tree growth of tree size and competitive processes are to be quantified and modelled successfully.

The findings of various epidemiological studies,interventions using randomized controlled trials and mechanistic experiments have suggested a protective role of tea and its bioactive components in cardiovascular *** potential of tea in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases(CVDs)has therefore attracted increasing research ***,in particular flavonoids,found in both green and black tea,have been suggested to play a primary role in the reduction of CVD *** promising results regarding the effects of tea on blood pressure and other CVD-related biomarkers have been found in preclinical experiments,the effects demonstrated in human studies are modest and less *** discrepancy may be explained,at least in part,by different research strategies used in human and animal ***,since tea is globally one of the most commonly consumed beverages,even small beneficial effects in humans may shift the population distribution of CVD risk,with major implications for public ***,research conducted to date does not yield sufficiently robust evidence to allow a recommendation as to an optimal level of tea consumption as an element of health policies seeking to prevent hypertension and improve cardiovascular health.

BACKGROUND Violence against healthcare workers(HCws)in the Caribbean continues to prevail yet remains *** aim is to determine the cause,traits,and consequences of violence on HCws in the *** To determine the cause,traits,and consequences of violence on HCws in the *** This research adopted an online cross-sectional survey approach,spanning over eight weeks(between June 6th and August 9th,2022).The survey was generated using Research Electronic data Capture forms and followed a snowballing strategy to contact individuals using emails,social media,text messages,*** regression analysis was performed to evaluate the variables that influence violence,including gender,age,years of experience,institution type,and night shift *** The survey was completed by 225 *** comprised 61%.Over 51%of respondents belonged to the 21 to 35 age ***(n=61),Haiti(n=50),and Grenada(n=31)had the most *** HCws(49%)worked for government academic institutions,followed by community hospitals(23%).Medical students(32%),followed by attending physicians(22%),and others(16%)comprised the most common cadre of *** 39%of the participants reported experiencing violence themselves,and 18%reported violence against colleague(s).Verbal violence(48%),emotional abuse(24%),and physical misconduct(14%)were the most common types of *** 63%of respondents identified patients or their relatives as the most frequent *** logistic regression analyses demonstrated that female gender(OR=2.08;95%Ci:1.16-3.76,P=0.014)and higher frequency of night shifts(OR=2.22;95%Ci:1.08-4.58,P=0.030)were associated with significantly higher odds of experiencing *** than 50%of HCws felt less motivated and had decreased job satisfaction post-violent *** A large proportion of HCwS in the Caribbean are exposed to violence,yet the phenomenon remains *** a result,HCws’job s

As one of the most important forming technologies for industrial bulk metallic glass (BMG) parts withcomplex shapes, high-pressure die casting (HPDC) can fill a die cavity with a glass-forming metallic liquidin milliseconds. However, to our knowledge, the correlation between flow and crystallization behavior inthe HPDC process has never been established. in this study, we report on the solidification behavior ofZr_(55)Cu_(30)Ni_(5)Al_(10) glass forming liquid under various flow rates. Surprisingly, the resulting alloys display adecreasing content of amorphous phase with increase of flow rate, i.e. increase of cooling rate, suggestingthat crystallization kinetics of glass-forming metallic liquids in the HPDC process is strongly dependenton the flow field. Analysis reveals that the accelerated crystallization behavior is mainly ascribed to therapid increase in viscosity with a decreasing temperature as well as to the huge shear effect in the glassforming liquid at the end stage of the filling process when the temperature is close to the glass-transitionpoint;this results in a transition from diffusion- to advection-dominated transport. The current investigation suggests that flow-related crystallization must be considered to assess the intrinsic glass-formingability of BMGs produced via HPDC. The obtained results will not only improve the understanding ofcrystallization dynamics but also promote the high-quality production and large-scale application of BMGparts.
