cu/Mo2c synthesized through Anderson-type polyoxometalates modulate interfacial water structure to achieve hydrogen evolution at high current density

The development of efficient non-precious metal catalysts is important for the large-scale application of alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Here,we synthesized a composite catalyst of cu and Mo_(2)c(cu/Mo_(2)c)using Anderson-type polyoxometalates(POMs)synthesized by the facile soaking method as *** electronic interaction between cu and Mo_(2)c drives the positive charge of cu,alleviating the strong adsorption of hydrogen at the Mo site by modulating the d-band center of Mo_(2)*** studying the interfacial water structure using in situ attenuated total reflection surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy(ATR-SEIRAS),we determined that the positively charged cu crystals have the function of activating water molecules and optimizing the interfacial water *** interfacial water of cu/Mo_(2)c contains a large amount of free water,which could facilitate the transport of reaction *** to activated water molecules and optimized interfacial water structure and hydrogen adsorption energy,the overpotential of cu/Mo_(2)c is 24 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) and 178 mV at a current density of 1000 mA·cm^(-2).This work improves catalyst performance in terms of interfacial water structure optimization and deepens the understanding of water-mediated catalysis.

Edge devices,due to their limited computational and storage resources,often require the use of compilers for program ***,ensuring the security and reliability of these compilers is of paramount importance in the emerging field of edge *** widely used testing method for this purpose is fuzz testing,which detects bugs by inputting random test cases into the target ***,this process consumes significant time and *** improve the efficiency of compiler fuzz testing,it is common practice to utilize test case prioritization *** researchers use machine learning to predict the code coverage of test cases,aiming to maximize the test capability for the target compiler by increasing the overall predicted coverage of the test ***,these methods can only forecast the code coverage of the compiler at a specific optimization level,potentially missing many optimization-related *** this paper,we introduce c-cORE(short for clustering by code Representation),the first framework to prioritize test cases according to their code representations,which are derived directly from the source *** approach avoids being limited to specific compiler states and extends to a broader range of compiler ***,we first train a scaled pre-trained programming language model to capture as many common features as possible from the test cases generated by a *** this pre-trained model,we then train two downstream models:one for predicting the likelihood of triggering a bug and another for identifying code representations associated with ***,we cluster the test cases according to their code representations and select the highest-scoring test case from each cluster as the high-quality test *** reduction in redundant testing cases leads to time *** evaluation results reveal that code representations are better at distinguishing test capabilities,and c-cORE significantly enhanc

cracking on a nickel-based superalloy fabricated by direct energy deposition

cracks have consistently been a significant challenge limiting the development of additive manufactured nickel-based *** is essential to investigate the location of cracks and their forming *** study extensively examines the impact of solidification process,microstructural evolution,and stress concentration on crack initiation during direct energy deposition(DED).The results emphasize that the crack formation is significantly related to large-angle grain boundaries,rapid cooling *** caused by large-angle grain boundaries and a fast-cooling rate predominantly appear near the edge of the deposited *** cracks are more likely to form near the top of the deposited sample,due to the presence ofγ/γ'*** secondary dendritic arm and the carbides in the interdendritic regions can obstruct liquid flow during the final stage of solidification,which results in the formation of solidification cracks and *** work paves the way to avoid cracks in nickel-based superalloys fabricated by DED,thereby enhancing the performance of superalloys.

Gas-phase reactions of[LnO]^(+)with methane have been studied by using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer(IcP-MS)combined with quantum chemical *** indicate that the[LnO]^(+)(Ln=Sm-Lu)ions are able to activate methane to generate methyl *** particular,[EuO]^(+)and[YbO]^(+)exhibit the highest ***,ab initio computations reveal a novel HAT process operating in the absence of a terminal oxygen radical,as mediated by[EuO]^(+)and[YbO]^(+).Such a process diverges from previous findings on the methane activation by metal oxide clusters,not only on the electronic pattern during the course of hydrogen transfer,but also on the important role that 4f electrons *** associated electronic origins have been discussed,and the well-designed 4f electron occupation may turn to be a promising approach in constructing lanthanide involved catalysts.

winter-spring minimum temperature variations inferred from tree-ring δ^(13)c in southeastern china

Long-term temperature variations inferred from high-resolution proxies provide an important context to evaluate the intensity of current ***,tem-perature reconstructions in humid southeastern china are scarce and particularly lack long-term data,limiting us to obtain a complete picture of regional temperature *** this study,we present a well-verified reconstruction of winter-spring(January–April)minimum temperatures over southeastern china based on stable carbon isotopic(δ^(13)c)records of tree rings from Taxus wallichiana *** from 1860 to *** reconstruction accounted for 56.4%of the total observed *** periods occurred during the 1860s–1910s and 1960s–*** temperatures have had an upward trend since the 1920s,most of the cold extremes were in recent *** El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)variance acted as a key modulator of regional winter-spring minimum temperature ***,teleconnections between them were a nonlinear process,i.e.,a reduced or enhanced ENSO variance may result in a weakened or intensified temperature-ENSO relationship.

In the low energy realization of the quirk assisted Standard Model,the couplings between the exotic particles"quirks"and gauge bosons may contribute to the w mass and muon g−2 anomaly reported by *** calculate the contributions from supersymmetric quirk particles as an *** imposing the theoretical constraints,we determined that the cDF II w-boson mass increment strictly constrains the mixing and coupling parameters and the quirk mass mF,while the muon g−2 anomaly cannot be solely attributed to the involvement of exotic particles,considering their significantly large masses.

characterization of cerebrovascular changes in Alzheimer's disease mice by photoacoustic imaging

The cerebral vasculature plays a significant role in the development of Alzheimer's disease(AD),however,the specific association between them remains *** this paper,based on the benefits of photoacoustic imaging(PAI),including label-free,high-resolution,in vivo imaging of vessels,we investigated the structural changes of cerebral vascular in wild-type(wT)mice and AD mice at different ages,analyzed the characteristics of the vascular in different brain regions,and correlated vascular characteristics with cognitive *** results showed that vascular density and vascular branching index in the cortical and frontal regions of both wT and AD mice decreased with ***,vascular lacunarity increased with age,and the changes in vascular structure were more pronounced in AD *** trend of vascular dysfunction aligns with the worsening cognitive dysfunction as the disease ***,we utilized in vivo PAI to analyze the changes in vascular structure during the progression of AD,elucidating the spatial and temporal correlation with cognitive impairment,which will provide more intuitive data for the study of the correlation between cerebrovascular and the development of AD.

Grading of products utilizing bamboo as a substitute for plastic based on environmental effects

To achieve sustainable development goals,mitigate plastic pollution,and promote eco-friendly products,it is crucial to identify key products in the bamboo as a substitute for plastic(BSP)industry and assess their environmental *** study proposed a novel evaluation method for the environmental effect of bamboo as a substitute for plastic(EBSP).It focused on the contributions of BSP products in reducing plastic pollution and greenhouse gas *** established a set of EBSP evaluation indicators and developed a grading model,evaluating 30 typical BSP products across six *** results showed that the EBSP evaluation model,based on the emission reduction rate of substitution(ERRS),substitution rate of material(SRM),and product renewal ratio(PRR),can accurately quantify the environmental benefits of BSP *** model has successfully facilitated precise quantification of the EBSP and established a rational and effective grading system for BSP *** results also demonstrated that the average EBSP ranking across the six categories of BSP products,in descending order,is:disposable bamboo products,bamboo household goods,bamboo packaging products,bamboo engineering materials,bamboo furniture products,and bamboo craft ***,disposable bamboo products scored an EBSP 1.96 times the overall average,indicating significant environmental *** PRR emerged as a critical factor influencing *** BSP products with the same lifespan,those with higher substitution emission reduction efficiency offered more pronounced environmental ***,the BSP industry should strategically prioritize disposable bamboo products,such as bamboo toothbrushes,cutlery,and lunch *** products should be the primary focus of policy support and central to efforts in product development,design innovation,and market promotion.

Bimetallic selenide heterostructure with directional built-in electricfield confined in N-doped carbon nanofibers for superior sodium storage with ultralong lifespan

constructing heterostructure is considered as an effective strategy to address the sluggish electronic and ionic kinetics of anode materials for sodium ion batteries(SIBs).However,realizing the orientated growth and uniform distribution of the heterostructure is still a great ***,the regulated novel coSe_(2)/NiSe_(2)heterostructure confined in N-doped carbon nanofibers(coSe_(2)/NiSe_(2)@N-c)are prepared by using co/Ni-ZIF template,in which,the coSe_(2)/NiSe_(2)heterostructures realize uniform distribution on a micro *** from the unique heterostructure and N-doped carbon nanofibers,the coSe_(2)/NiSe_(2)@N-c deliveries superior rate capability and durable cycle lifespan with a reversible capacity of 400.5 mA h g^(-1)after 5000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1).The Na-ion full battery with coSe_(2)/NiSe_(2)@N-c anode and layered oxide cathode displays a remarkable energy density of 563 w h kg^(-1)with 241.1 w kg^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1).The theoretical calculations disclose that the periodic and directional built-in electric-field along with the heterointerfaces of coSe_(2)/NiSe_(2)@N-c can accelerate electrochemical reaction *** in(ex)situ experimental measurements reveal the reversible conversion reaction and stable structure of coSe_(2)/NiSe_(2)@N-c during Na+insertion/*** study highlights the potential ability of precisely controlled heterostructure to stimulate the electrochemical performances of advanced anode for SIBs.

Data-driven rational design of single-atom materials for hydrogen evolution and sensing

Herein we proposed a data-driven high-throughput principle to screen high-performance single-atom materials for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and hydrogen sensing by combing the theoretical computations and a topology-based multi-scale convolution kernel machine learning *** the rational training by 25 groups of data and prediction of all 168 groups of single-atom materials for HER and sensing,respectively,a high prediction accuracy(>0.931 R^(2) score)was achieved by our *** show that the promising HER catalysts include Pt atoms in c_(4) and Sc atoms in c_(1)N_(3) coordination ***,Y atoms in c_(4) coordination environment and cd atoms in c_(2)N_(2)-ortho coordination environment were predicted with great potential as hydrogen sensing *** method provides a way to accelerate the discovery of innovative materials by avoiding the time-consuming empirical principles in experiments.
