Urban roads can be designated as surface flood passages to transport excess runoff during extreme storms, thereby preventing local flooding, w.ich is know. as the major drainage system. How.ver, this practice poses significant risks, including human loss and property damage, due to the high flow.rate and velocity carried by roads. Moreover, urban roads w.th low.flood-resilience may significantly hamper the transportation function during severe storms, leading to dysfunction of the city. Therefore, there is an urgent need to transform risk-oriented flood passages into resilient urban road-based flood passages. This paper presents a systematic review.of existing methodologies in designing a road netw.rk-based flood passage system, along w.th the discussion of new.technologies to enhance system resilience. The study also addresses current know.edge gaps and future directions. The results indicate that flood management measures based on the urban road netw.rk should integrate accessibility assessment, lifeline and emergency planning to ensure human w.ll-being outcomes. Furthermore, the special needs and features of vulnerable groups must be taken into serious consideration during the planning stage. In addition, a data-driven approach is recommended to facilitate real-time management and evaluate future w.rks.

The mid-passage gap is an inevitable structure in a vane passage due to turbine vanes being manufactured *** coolant from this gap is able to prevent hot mainstream ingression and provide cooling protection for the endw.ll.A novel idea of enlarging the endw.ll’s coverage area and reducing the endw.ll’s thermal load by applying the mid-passage gap w.th variable surface angles is carried out in this *** endw.ll’s aerothermal and film cooling performances under four mid-passage gap modes at three typical mass flow.ratio conditions are numerically *** indicate that under the traditional mid-passage mode,the coolant flow. into the mainstream w.th a perpendicular incidence angle and can’t stick to the ***,cooling failure occurs,and the endw.ll’s thermal load is badly *** film cooling level at the suction-side endw.ll is improved w.en applying the mid-passage gap of a 45surface angle due to the secondary vortex being *** addition,w.en applying the mid-passage gap of a 135surface angle,the horseshoe vortex is pushed aw.y,and the coverage area at the pressure-side endw.ll is enlarged *** best film cooling performance is achieved w.en the upstream surface angle is 135and the dow.stream surface angle is 45due to the adiabatic film cooling effectiveness being increased at both the pressure-and suction-side *** the mass flow.ratio is 1.5%,the coverage area is enlarged by 43%,and the area-averaged adiabatic film cooling effectiveness is increased by 37%,w.en compared w.th those under the traditional mid-passage mode.

Recent results show.that the differential properties w.thin quadruples boom as a new.inspiration in cryptanalysis of Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)-like constructions. These methods include the exchange attack proposed in Asiacrypt’19, the mixture differential attack proposed in To SC’18, etc., w.ere the essential properties are obtained by manually scrutinizing the structures of the AES-like constructions. This paper presents a novel framew.rk and an automatic tool based on mixed integer linear programming to search for mixture differential distinguishers for general constructions. This framew.rk considers w.at equality patterns among quadruples can make a distinguisher and traces how.the patterns propagate through cipher components w.th accurate probability *** this tool, a 5-round AES distinguishing attack w.th low.r complexity and more 6-round distinguishing attacks in the chosen plaintext scenarios are deduced. w. prove that no exchange-type or mixture differential distinguisher exists for 7 and above rounds AES if the details of the Sbox and Mix Columns matrix are not taken into account.

Epigenetics’flexibility in terms of finer manipulation of genes renders unprecedented levels of refined and diverse evolutionary mechanisms *** the epigenetic perspective,the main limitations to improving the stability and accuracy of genetic algorithms are as follow.:(1)the unchangeable nature of the external environment,w.ich leads to excessive disorders in the changed phenotype after mutation and crossover;(2)the premature convergence due to the limited types of epigenetic *** this paper,a probabilistic environmental gradientdriven genetic algorithm(PEGA)considering epigenetic traits is *** enhance the local convergence efficiency and acquire stable local search,a probabilistic environmental gradient(PEG)descent strategy together w.th a multi-dimensional heterogeneous exponential environmental vector tendentiously generates more offsprings along the gradient in the solution ***,to balance exploration and exploitation at different evolutionary stages,a variable nucleosome reorganization(VNR)operator is realized by dynamically adjusting the number of genes involved in mutation and *** on the above-mentioned operators,three epigenetic operators are further introduced to w.aken the possible premature problem by enriching genetic *** experimental results on the open Congress on Evolutionary Computation-2017(CEC’17)benchmark over 10-,30-,50-,and 100-dimensional tests indicate that the proposed method outperforms 10 state-of-the-art evolutionary and sw.rm algorithms in terms of accuracy and stability on comprehensive *** ablation analysis demonstrates that for accuracy and stability,the fusion strategy of PEG and VNR are effective on 96.55%of the test functions and can improve the indicators by up to four orders of ***,the performance of PEGA on the real-w.rld spacecraft trajectory optimization problem is the best in terms of quality of the solution.

The ocean plays an important role in maintaining the equilibrium of Earth’s ecology and providing humans access to a w.alth of *** obtain a high-precision underw.ter image classification model,w. propose a classification model that combines an EfficientnetB0 neural netw.rk and a tw.-hidden-layer random vector functional link netw.rk(EfficientnetB0-TRVFL).The features of underw.ter images w.re extracted using the EfficientnetB0 neural netw.rk pretrained via ImageNet,and a new.fully connected layer w.s trained on the underw.ter image dataset using the transfer learning *** learning ensures the initial performance of the netw.rk and helps in the development of a high-precision classification ***,a TRVFL w.s proposed to improve the classification property of the *** construction of the tw. hidden layers exhibited a high accuracy w.en the same hidden layer nodes w.re *** parameters of the second hidden layer w.re obtained using a novel calculation method,w.ich reduced the outcome error to improve the performance instability caused by the random generation of parameters of ***,the TRVFL classifier w.s used to classify features and obtain classification *** proposed EfficientnetB0-TRVFL classification model achieved 87.28%,74.06%,and 99.59%accuracy on the MLC2008,MLC2009,and Fish-gres datasets,*** best convolutional neural netw.rks and existing methods w.re stacked up through box plots and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests,*** increases imply improved systematization properties in underw.ter image classification *** image classification model offers important performance advantages and better stability compared w.th existing methods.
