Perioperative coagulation activation after permanent pacemaker placement

BACKGROUND Bradyarrhythmias are typically treated with permanent pacemakers(PM). The elimination of bradyarrhythmia by PM implantation improves the patient’s quality of life and prognosis, but it can also result in a number of sequalae. It is still unclear how PM implantation affects the hemostasis system’s parameters and how such parameters relate to different consequences after PM *** To assess the blood coagulation factor activity in PM patients throughout the perioperative *** Patients treated in the Department of Surgical Therapy of Cardiac Arrhythmias and Pacing at the Ryazan State "Regional Clinical Cardiology Dispensary" from April 2020 to December 2021 were included in the study. Before surgery, 7 and 30 d after PM placement, peripheral venous blood samples were withdrawn to measure the level of blood coagulation factor Ⅰ(FⅠ) and the activity of blood coagulation factors Ⅱ(FⅡ), Ⅴ(FⅤ), Ⅶ(FⅦ), Ⅷ(FⅧ), ⅸ(Fⅸ), ⅹ(Fⅹ), Ⅺ(FⅪ), Ⅻ(FⅫ). We used an automatic coagulometer Sysmex CA 660(Sysmex Europe, Germany) and reagents from Siemens(Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Products GmbH, Germany).RESULTS The study included 146 patients. The activity of factors FⅤ [147.7(102.1-247.55)% vs 103.85(60-161.6)% vs 81.8(67.15-130.65)%, P = 0.002], FⅧ [80.4(60.15-106.25)% vs 70.3(48.5-89.1)% vs 63.7(41.6-88.25)%, P = 0.039], Fⅸ [86.2(70.75-102.95)% vs 75.4(59.2-88.3)% vs 73.9(56.45-93.05)%, P = 0.014], Fⅹ [188.9(99.3-308.18)% vs 158.9(83.3-230)% vs 127.2(95.25-209.35)%, P = 0.022], FⅪ [82.6(63.9-103.6)% vs 69.75(53.8-97.6)% vs 67.3(54.25-98.05)%, P = 0.002], FⅫ [87.6(67.15-102.3)% vs 78.9(63.4-97.05)% vs 81.2(62.15-97.4)%, P < 0.001] decreased at 7 and 30 d after surgery;FⅡ activity [157.9(109.7-245.25)% vs 130(86.8-192.5)% vs 144.8(103.31-185.6)%, P = 0.021] decreased at 7 d and increased at 30 d postoperatively. Boosting the superconducting spin valve effect in a metallic superconductor/ferromagnet heterostructure

Superconducting spin valves based on the superconductor/ferromagnet （S/F） proximity effect are considered to be a key element in the emerging field of superconducting spintronics. Here, we demonstrate the crucial role of the morphology of the superconducting layer in the operation of a multilayer S/F1/F2 spin valve. We study two types of superconducting spin valve heterostructures, with rough and with smooth superconducting layers, using transmission electron microscopy in combination with transport and magnetic characterization. We find that the quality of the S/F interface is not critical for the S/F proximity effect, as regards the suppression of the critical temperature of the S layer. However, it appears to be of paramount importance in the performance of the S/F1/F2 spin valve. As the morphology of the S layer changes from the form of overlapping islands to a smooth case, the magnitude of the conventional superconducting spin valve effect significantly increases. We attribute this dramatic effect to a homogenization of the Green function of the superconducting condensate over the S/F interface in the S/F1/F2 valve with a smooth surface of the S laver.

Gas-Solution Interface Technique as a simple method to produce inorganic microtubes with scroll morphology

Over the past decade, numerous studies have dealt with new properties of inorganic nanomaterials with improved characteristics due to a particular morphology, and new facile methods to produce such materials have been reported. Inorganic microtubes can be designed for multifunctional materials with highly specific surface area. These microtubes can act as individual on-chip components of miniature devices or off-chip micromachines. The paper first discusses the main regularities of the reactions at the gas-solution interface and then goes on to present the basic principles of the Gas-Solution Interface Technique(GSIT), thus demonstrating a new way of facile synthesis of inorganic rolled-up microtubes. A distinctive feature of the technique is the formation of a gradient solid layer on the surface of the aqueous solution as a result of the gaseous and liquid reagents interaction. When dried in the air, this thin layer is capable of self-folding into microtubes with specific morphology. The paper considers the specific features of microtubes obtained by GSIT from numerous classes of inorganic compounds, including oxides, hydroxides, sulfides, fluorides. Further areas of possible practical applications of GSIT microtubes are discussed. The prospects of future development of the GSIT are outlined.

A retrospective view on the history of natural sciences in XX-XXI

The presented paper is dedicated to a new ret-rospective view on the history of natural sci-ences in XX-XXI cc, partially including the sci-ence philosophy (mainly, the problems of the scientific realism, i.e. the correspondence of science to reality) and also a novel scheme for different classes of sciences with different ob-jects and paradigms. There are analyzed the chosen “great” and “grand” problems of phys-ics (including the comprehension of quantum mechanics, with a recently elaborated new chapter, connected with time as a quantum obs- ervable and time analysis of quantum processes) and also of natural sciences as a whole. The particular attention is paid to the interpretation questions and slightly to the aspects, inevitably connected with the world- views of the res- earchers (which do often constitute a part of the interpretation questions).

Investigation of Acoustic Emission Caused by Filtration of an Air Flow through a Porous Medium

We study characteristics of acoustic emission caused by an air flow filtered through samples of solid porous pumice either partially filled with glycerin or dry. Some peculiarities of the laboratory setup and the performed experiments are described. Samples of different porosity and several values of the air pressure drop are tested. Physical reasons for the difference in acoustical emission spectra of samples of different porosity and in the relaxation times of the acoustic emission level caused by different porosity and fluid saturation are discussed. It is proposed to use the phenomenon of acoustic emission for detecting the fluid trapped in the pores of cores. The existing results based on the borehole field experiments are rough. The frequency range of signals recorded in these experiments is less than 5 kHz (up to 10 kHz). It is shown by our laboratory measurements that the required frequency band should be up to 50 - 60 kHz to reflect the features of the spectral composition of the acoustic emission in predicting the fluid content. The level of acoustic noise under field conditions is much higher, i.e., by 10 - 15 dB, than the noise achieved under laboratory conditions. Since the sensitivity of the recorders and the frequency range are considerably higher in our experiments, they are unique when applied to the solved problem.

To prove that magnetic characteristics （MC） of participants in breathing are crucial in respiration; to explain the impact of Earth＇s magnetic field （EMF）, cosmic radiation （CR） and MC of cells on evolution and respiration; to show MC of cells, i.e. development of cytoplasm and membrane of nucleus and cell; to explain crossing over; to show in detail the impact of EMF on cell division; to explain the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the lungs and cells MC; to explain how the nervous system works as a regulator of respiration. Studying the literature about ceil, respiration and the role of nervous system in breathing; linking natural EMF, CR and MC of cells with evolution and respiration. Every cell has MC. They are very important in every cell metabolism. Crossing over provides polymorphism, enabled by EMF. Crucial factor in cell division is EMF. Electrical pulses （action potentials） are generated by CR. Breathing is enabled by MC of oxygen, carbon dioxide, hemoglobin and cells. MC enables respiration. EMF, CR and MC of cells are crucial factors in evolution processes generally. EMF is the initiator of cell division. Micro electrical pulses from central nervous system are regulators of respiration. Conductivity of micro electrical pulses in the body is fast-electronic and slow-ion （chemical）.

DEAR EDITOR,We describe a new species of Nanohyla from the Song Hinh Protected Forest in Phu Yen Province,southern Vietnam,based on an integrative taxonomic *** new species represents a divergent lineage(16S rRNA gene uncorrected P-distance>5.3%),which clearly differs from any other Nanohyla species based on a series of morphological characters,most notably the presence of white spots on the top of its ***,Nanohyla albopunctata *** characterized by small body size(male snout-vent length(SVL)18.2-20.2 mm);moderately slender body habitus;rounded snout;distinct tympanum;rounded canthus rostralis;loreal region slightly concave;skin on dorsum tubercular,ventral surfaces smooth;mid-vertebral skin ridge and dorsomedial stripe absent;superciliary tubercles absent.

Aspects of Railway Capacity and Occupation Time Estimation

The priority of the EU transport policy in railway sector is to open up the railway market. The objective is to provide railway undertakings with access to the railway network on equal terms. The main problem is determining the infrastructure capacity. A variety of methodologies are used across Europe for the capacity estimation of railway infrastructure. This diversity has forced railway infrastructure managers to seek a new, common methodology. The UIC methodology is an easy way to calculate the capacity consumption. However, there the possibility to expound this methodology in different ways, which can result in different capacity consumptions. There isan advantage to improve this methodology and to set a clear and unified method of occupation time estimation. The fundamental improvement to UIC methodology is the definition of the occupation time by the trains. This paper gives a description of Slovak and UIC methodologies as a basis for a newly developed approach. The new way of estimation of the capacity consumption （occupation time） is based on a graphic approach. The new methodology concerns the estimation of the infrastructure occupation time and is a conceptual framework developed by the authors for an easier evaluation of occupation time in train traffic diagrams. The new methodology makes the UIC methodology more usable and enables more exact results to be obtained from infrastructure capacity examination.

Geomorphological Features of Ancient Volcanic Terrain of Mars

The article considers geological and morphological features of a volcanic relief of a surface of a planet Mars. Effusive magmatism processes at early stages of planet crust forming come out in structure of solidified relief forms of Mars. Volcanic relief of a planet represents relic ancient line oriented forms, areal and central lava flooding. Linear forms generate shield volcanoes, chains of volcanic mountains and radial-concentric faults. This article deals with geological and morphological characteristics of the volcanic terrain of Mars. Hypsometric altitude profiles of volcanoes have been built based on the MOLA （Mars orbiter laser altimeter） of the spacecraft MGS （Mars global surveyor）. The gradient of volcano flanks has been calculated. The relative age of the volcanic terrain was estimated by the classical method of counting of the density of impact craters. Names of the volcanic landforms of Mars are given in the article in accordance with the name nomenclature system approved by the International Astronomical Union. Research results make it possible to compare the scientific and technical information about the planet and analyze the materials of satellite imagery of Mars.

Cause of Autoimmune Diseases： Anomalous Magnetic Fielads

The aim of this work is to prove the AMF （anomalous magnetic fields） from the environment cause of AID （autoimmune diseases）. The therapeutic possibilities of natural EMF （Earth＇s magnetic field） is pointed out and how to act to prevent AID is determined. Authors indicate in which magnetic fields the IS （immune system） defends the body. They also explain why, in medical literature, risk factors are mistakenly declared pathogens of AID. The magnetic fields intensity in 20 peoples＇ beds, suffering from Type 1 diabetes, was measured with proton magnetometer （accuracy of 100 nT）. The measurement results are presented on sketches, patients were transferred to the natural EMF, medical condition was monitored, and AID function IS ethiopathology was studied. The correlation between AMF and organ location where AID occurred was determined by measuring. The cells of an organism, formed in natural EMF, are in magnetic balance. When an intruder enters the body, magnetic balance disappears and leukocytes with its MF （magnetic forces） destroy intruders. In the AMF, cells get enlarged MF without magnetic balance, causing IS with its MF to attack own cells, resulting AID. When an intruder enters a tissue, tissue cells and cells of intruders gain enhanced MF. IS with its MF destroys intruders. In the literature （The China Study by T. Colin Campbell）, the food is presented as cause of number of diseases. It was found what led to such a misinterpretation. It has been proven that causes of mentioned diseases are only AMF, which can be located in any organ, and with Type 1 diabetes its spread to the whole body with strongest intensity on pancreas. AMF give tissue cells reinforced MF without magnetic balance causing IS to deplete own tissues, resulting AID. IS works perfectly without AMF and risk factors are only a consequence of AMF.
