We study characteristics of acoustic emission caused by an air flow filtered through samples of solid porous pumice either partially filled with glycerin or dry. Some peculiarities of the laboratory setup and the performed experiments are described. Samples of different porosity and several values of the air pressure drop are tested. Physical reasons for the difference in acoustical emission spectra of samples of different porosity and in the relaxation times of the acoustic emission level caused by different porosity and fluid saturation are discussed. It is proposed to use the phenomenon of acoustic emission for detecting the fluid trapped in the pores of cores. The existing results based on the borehole field experiments are rough. The frequency range of signals recorded in these experiments is less than 5 kHz (up to 10 kHz). It is shown by our laboratory measurements that the required frequency band should be up to 50 - 60 kHz to reflect the features of the spectral composition of the acoustic emission in predicting the fluid content. The level of acoustic noise under field conditions is much higher, i.e., by 10 - 15 dB, than the noise achieved under laboratory conditions. Since the sensitivity of the recorders and the frequency range are considerably higher in our experiments, they are unique when applied to the solved problem.

The priority of the EU transport policy in railway sector is to open up the railway market. The objective is to provide railway undertakings with access to the railway network on equal terms. The main problem is determining the infrastructure capacity. A variety of methodologies are used across Europe for the capacity estimation of railway infrastructure. This diversity has forced railway infrastructure managers to seek a new, common methodology. The UIC methodology is an easy way to calculate the capacity consumption. However, there the possibility to expound this methodology in different ways, which can result in different capacity consumptions. There isan advantage to improve this methodology and to set a clear and unified method of occupation time estimation. The fundamental improvement to UIC methodology is the definition of the occupation time by the trains. This paper gives a description of Slovak and UIC methodologies as a basis for a newly developed approach. The new way of estimation of the capacity consumption （occupation time） is based on a graphic approach. The new methodology concerns the estimation of the infrastructure occupation time and is a conceptual framework developed by the authors for an easier evaluation of occupation time in train traffic diagrams. The new methodology makes the UIC methodology more usable and enables more exact results to be obtained from infrastructure capacity examination.

The article considers geological and morphological features of a volcanic relief of a surface of a planet Mars. Effusive magmatism processes at early stages of planet crust forming come out in structure of solidified relief forms of Mars. Volcanic relief of a planet represents relic ancient line oriented forms, areal and central lava flooding. Linear forms generate shield volcanoes, chains of volcanic mountains and radial-concentric faults. This article deals with geological and morphological characteristics of the volcanic terrain of Mars. Hypsometric altitude profiles of volcanoes have been built based on the MOLA （Mars orbiter laser altimeter） of the spacecraft MGS （Mars global surveyor）. The gradient of volcano flanks has been calculated. The relative age of the volcanic terrain was estimated by the classical method of counting of the density of impact craters. Names of the volcanic landforms of Mars are given in the article in accordance with the name nomenclature system approved by the International Astronomical Union. Research results make it possible to compare the scientific and technical information about the planet and analyze the materials of satellite imagery of Mars.

The aim of this work is to prove the AMF （anomalous magnetic fields） from the environment cause of AID （autoimmune diseases）. The therapeutic possibilities of natural EMF （Earth＇s magnetic field） is pointed out and how to act to prevent AID is determined. Authors indicate in which magnetic fields the IS （immune system） defends the body. They also explain why, in medical literature, risk factors are mistakenly declared pathogens of AID. The magnetic fields intensity in 20 peoples＇ beds, suffering from Type 1 diabetes, was measured with proton magnetometer （accuracy of 100 nT）. The measurement results are presented on sketches, patients were transferred to the natural EMF, medical condition was monitored, and AID function IS ethiopathology was studied. The correlation between AMF and organ location where AID occurred was determined by measuring. The cells of an organism, formed in natural EMF, are in magnetic balance. When an intruder enters the body, magnetic balance disappears and leukocytes with its MF （magnetic forces） destroy intruders. In the AMF, cells get enlarged MF without magnetic balance, causing IS with its MF to attack own cells, resulting AID. When an intruder enters a tissue, tissue cells and cells of intruders gain enhanced MF. IS with its MF destroys intruders. In the literature （The China Study by T. Colin Campbell）, the food is presented as cause of number of diseases. It was found what led to such a misinterpretation. It has been proven that causes of mentioned diseases are only AMF, which can be located in any organ, and with Type 1 diabetes its spread to the whole body with strongest intensity on pancreas. AMF give tissue cells reinforced MF without magnetic balance causing IS to deplete own tissues, resulting AID. IS works perfectly without AMF and risk factors are only a consequence of AMF.

DEAR EDITOR,We describe a new species of Nanohyla from the Song Hinh Protected Forest in Phu Yen Province,southern Vietnam,based on an integrative taxonomic *** new species represents a divergent lineage(16S rRNA gene uncorrected P-distance>5.3%),which clearly differs from any other Nanohyla species based on a series of morphological characters,most notably the presence of white spots on the top of its ***,Nanohyla albopunctata *** characterized by small body size(male snout-vent length(SVL)18.2-20.2 mm);moderately slender body habitus;rounded snout;distinct tympanum;rounded canthus rostralis;loreal region slightly concave;skin on dorsum tubercular,ventral surfaces smooth;mid-vertebral skin ridge and dorsomedial stripe absent;superciliary tubercles absent.

We prese nt a morphological and molecular assessment of the Microhyla fauna of Myanmar based on new collections from central (Magway Division) and northem (Kachin State) parts of the country. In total, six species of Microhyla are documented, including M. berdmorei, M. heymonsi, M. butleri, M. mukhlesuri and two new species described from the semi-arid savarma-like plains of the middle part of the Irrawaddy (Ayeyarwady) River Valley. We used a 2 481 bp long 12S rRNA- 16S rRNA fragment of mtDNA to hypothesize gen ealogical relati on ships within Microhyla. We applied an in teg rati ve taxonomic approach combining molecular, morphological, and acoustic lines of evidenee to evaluate the taxonomic status of Mya nmar Microhyla. We dem on strated that the newly discovered populations of Microhyla sp. from the Magway Division represent two yet undescribed species. These two new sympatric species are assigned to the M. achatina species group, with both adapted to the seas on ally dry environments of the Irrawaddy Valley. Microhyla fodiens sp. nov. is a stout-bodied species with a remarkably enlarged shovel-like outer metatarsal tubercle used for burrowing and is highly diverge nt from other know n congeners (P-distancea8.8%). Microhyla irrawaddy sp. nov. is a small-bodied slender frog reconstructed as a sister species to M. kodial from southern India (P-distance=5.3%);however, it clearly differs from the latter both in external morphology and advertisement call parameters. Microhyla mukhlesuri is reported from Myanmar for the first time. We further discuss the morphological diag no sties and biogeography of Microhyla species recorded in Myanmar.

FeNC catalysts are promising substitutes of platinum-type catalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).While previous research disclosed that high pyrolysis temperatures are required to achieve good stability,it was identified that a trade-off needs to be made regarding the active site *** central question is,if a good stability can also be reached at milder pyrolysis conditions but longer duration retaining more active sites,while enabling the defect-rich carbon to heal during a long residence time?To address this,a variation of pyrolysis temperatures and durations is used in FeNC *** morphology and iron species are characterized by Raman spectroscopy and Mössbauer spectroscopy,*** cell(FC)activity and stability data are *** results are compared to ORR activity and selectivity data from rotating ring disc electrode experiments and resulting durability in accelerated stress tests mimicking the load cycle and start-up and shut-down cycle *** is discussed how pyrolysis temperature and duration affect FC activity and ***,more important,the results connect the pyrolysis conditions to the required accelerated stress test protocol combination to enable a prediction of the catalyst stability in fuel cells.

The experimental detection of the hidden periodicities in the activity of various radioactive sources which were observed by different instruments and which coincided with the period of the free oscillations of the Sun gave an impetus to the further research. The simultaneous recording of gamma rays from two radioactive sources revealed the elements of synchronism and the periods of solar oscillations as well as the phase delay for the different sources in the obtained time series. A neutrino detector has been designed and tested, the advanced schemes for neutrino detection are developed, and the impact of the neutrino source on the radioactive matter is explored. The search for the new principles for creating the emitters of neutrino beams is conducted.
