Motion-driven electromagnetictriboelectric energy generators(E-TENGs) hold a Hybrid triboelectric-electromagnetic generators C A Bgreat potential to provide higher voltages,higher currents and wider operating bandwidths than Cantilever generators1 μm both electromagnetic and triboelectric generators Rotating generatorsSliding generators standing alone. Therefore,they are promising solutions to autonomously supply a broad range of Flexible blade generators Magnetoelectric highly sophisticated devices. This paper provides generators a thorough review focused on major recent breakLinear generators Multidimensional generators throughs in the area of electromagnetic-triboelectric vibrational energy harvesting. A detailed Pendulum generators analysis was conducted on various architectures including rotational,pendulum,linear,sliding,cantilever,flexible blade,multidimensional and 1 cm magnetoelectric,and the following hybrid technologies. They enable highly e cient ways to harvest electric energy from many forms of vibrational,rotational,biomechanical,wave,wind and thermal sources,among others. Open-circuit voltages up to 75 V,short-circuit currents up to 60 mA and instantaneous power up to 144 mW were already achieved by these nanogenerators. Their transduction mechanisms,including proposed models to make intelligible the involved physical phenomena,are also overviewed here. A comprehensive analysis was performed to compare their respective construction designs,external excitations and electric outputs. The results highlight the potential of hybrid E-TENGs to convert unused mechanical motion into electric energy for both large-and small-scale ***,this paper proposes future research directions toward optimization of energy conversion e ciency,power management,durability and stability,packaging,energy storage,operation input,research of transduction mechanisms,quantitative standardization,system integration,miniaturization and multi-energy hybrid cells.

We describe a new species of the genus Tylototriton from Ingyin Taung Mt.,Mohnyin Township,Kachin State,Myanmar,based on morphological and molecular *** new species is assigned to the subgenus Tylototriton *** is clearly distinct from all known congeners by the following characters:medium body size;thin,long tail,lacking lateral grooves;rough skin;truncate snout;wide,protruding supratemporal bony ridges on head,beginning at anterior corner of orbit;weak,almost indistinct sagittal ridge;long,thin limbs,broadly overlapping when adpressed along body;distinct,wide,non-segmented vertebral ridge;13 or 14 rib nodules;brown to darkbrown background coloration with dull orange-brown to yellowish-brown markings on labial regions,parotoids,rib nodules,whole limbs,vent,and ventral tail *** also briefly discuss biogeography and species diversity of the genus Tylototriton in Myanmar.

Curcumin,an active ingredient of dietary spice used in curry,has been shown to exhibit anti-oxidant,anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative *** EB directed differentiation protocol of H-9 human em-bryonic stem(ES)cells;we evaluated the effect of cur-cumin(0-20μmol/L)in enhancing such *** results using real time PCR,western blotting and immunostaining demonstrated that curcumin signifi-cantly increased the gene expression and protein levels of cardiac specific transcription factor NKx2.5,cardiac troponin I,myosin heavy chain,and endothelial nitric oxide synthase during ES cell ***-more,an NO donor enhanced the curcumin-mediated induction of NKx2.5 and other cardiac specific *** of cells with curcumin led to a dose depend-ent increase in intracellular nitrite to the same extent as giving an authentic NO *** assay for second messenger(s)cyclic AMP(cAMP)and cyclic GMP(cGMP)revealed that continuous presence of cur-cumin in differentiated cells induced a decrease in the baseline levels of cAMP but it significantly elevated baseline contents of *** addition to a cell free assay significantly suppressed cAMP and cGMP degradation in the extracts while long term treatment of intact cells with curcumin increased the rates of cAMP and cGMP degradation suggesting that this might be due to direct suppression of some cyclic nucleo-tide-degrading enzyme(phosphodiesterase)by *** studies demonstrate that polyphenol curcu-min may be involved in differentiation of ES cells partly due to manipulation of nitric oxide signaling.

Exosomes derived from mesenchymal stem cells(MSC-Exos)are nano-sized extracellular vesicles enriched with bioactive molecules,such as microRNAs,enzymes,cytokines,chemokines,immunomodulatory,trophic,and growth *** molecules regulate the survival,phenotype,and function of malignant and tumor-infiltrated immune *** to their nano-size and bilayer lipid envelope,MSC-Exos can easily bypass biological barriers and may serve as drug carriers to deliver chemotherapeutics directly into the tumor ***,we summarize current knowledge regarding molecular mechanisms responsible for MSC-Exos-dependent modulation of tumor progression and discuss insights regarding the therapeutic potential of MSC-Exos in the treatment of malignant diseases.

Although tin monoxide (SnO) is an interesting compound due to its p-type conductivity,a widespread application of SnO has been limited by its narrow band gap of 0.7 *** this work,we theoretically investigate the structural and electronic properties of several SnO phases under high pressures through employing van der Waals (vdW) *** calculations reveal that a metastable SnO (β-SnO),which possesses space group P2_(1)/c and a wide band gap of 1.9 eV,is more stable than α-SnO at pressures higher than 80 ***,a stable (space group P2/c) and a metastable (space group Pnma) phases of SnO appear at pressures higher than 120 *** and topological analyses show that P2/c-SnO has a high possibility to directly transform to β-SnO at around 120 *** work also reveals that β-SnO is a necessary intermediate state between high-pressure phase Pnma-SnO and low-pressure phase α-SnO for the phase transition path Pnma-SnO →β-SnO →α-*** phase transition analyses indicate that there is a high possibility to synthesize β-SnO under high-pressure conditions and have it remain stable under normal ***,our study reveals that the conductive property of β-SnO can be engineered in a low-pressure range (0-9 GPa)through a semiconductor-to-metal transition,while maintaining transparency in the visible light range.

Investigations of ^(239+240)Pu and ^(238)Pu in the surface layer(0–5 cm) of bottom sediment in the Crimean 10 salt lakes from 4 geographical groups were carried out for the first time. The ^(239+240)Pu varied widely between regional geographical groups of lakes as well as within groups too and ranged from 11±4 to 451±43 mBq^(239+240)Pu/kg. The highest levels of ^(239+240)Pu—419±27, 443±24 and 451±43 mBq/kg were observed in the Yevpatoriya(Lake Kyzyl-Yar), the Tarkhankut(Dzharylhach) and the Kerch group(Tobechik), respectively. The lowest values of ^(239+240)Pu were identified in three lakes of the Perekop group and were 20±12, 24±6 and 48±6 mBq/kg. In all lakes ^(238)Pu was an order of magnitude lower than 239+240 Pu and varied from 4.8±2.6 to 30.7±5.5 mBq/kg. The ^(238)Pu activity was decay-corrected to 1986. The characteristic ratio of the ^(238)Pu/239+240 Pu activities in the sediment and percentage of the Chernobyl-derived Pu was calculated. The largest percentages of the Chernobyl-derived Pu were observed in the Evpatoriya group(Lake SasykSivash)—16.2%±8.26%, the Tarkhankut group(Dzharylhach)—8.4%±2.10% and the Kerch group(Aktash)—10.5%±5.56%. The study of the depth distribution of plutonium in the Lake Kyzyl-Yar bottom sediment core(0–25 cm) was fulfilled. It was shown that 239+240 Pu was high enough in all studied layers of bottom sediment, but the highest activity ratio ^(238)Pu/239+240 Pu(0.062±0.020) was found in the deepest layer of 15–20.5 cm and the percentage of Chernobyl-derived Pu was estimated at 6.8%±2.85% in this layer.

The shapes of as‐grown/as‐etched two‐dimensional(2D)islands are the most recognizable features of the chemical vapor deposition(CVD)process which reveal a lot of information about the chemical environment of growth/etching,the effect of the substrate and the growth/etching ***,we summarize experimentally observed shapes of CVD‐grown 2D materials from previous reports,theoretical understanding on the corresponding mechanisms and the simulations of the corresponding growth/etching *** part of the review article is organized by combining the fundamental principles that govern the shapes of crystals during growth/etching and the related experimental observations to facilitate the readers to read and understand the *** content of the review includes attachment‐limited 2D materials growth,diffusion‐limited 2D materials growth(both with and without influence of the substrate),etching and merging of 2D materials with and without considering the effect of the *** also discuss growth and etching of multilayered 2D islands during CVD—a topic still under *** wish this review will also guide the audience to understand the kinetics of 2D materials growth and to improve controllable synthesis of various 2D materials.

This study describes the development of a one-pot strategy to produce spherical alloy microparticles for advanced near-net-shape manufacturing processes, including additive manufacturing and powder injection molding. The Al Si12 eutectic alloy(ca. 12 wt% Si) system was chosen as the model with which the main experiments were carried out. The proposed process synergistically integrates a few common,low-cost processing techniques including the mixing of Al micrometer size particles with silicon and sodium chloride, heat-treating the mixture at temperatures of 650–810°C, and the dissolution of salt in water to produce spherical Al Si12 alloy particles without the need to rely on costly melting and atomizing techniques. This new process can use laow-cost source Al and Si powders as the raw materials to produce10–200 um-sized spherical particles of Al Si12. The Ansys-CFX computational fluid dynamics software was used to analyze the flow behavior of Al Si12 liquid droplets and particle size refinement in the narrow voids of the sample.
