Emission of tHz radiation from air breakdown at focused ultra-short fs-laser pulses(800 nm/35 fs)was investigated for the 3D spatio-temporal control where two pre-pulses are used before the *** laser pulse induced air breakdown forms a~120μm-long focal volume generate shockwaves which deliver a denser air into the focal region of the main pulse for enhanced generation of tHz radiation at 0.1-2.5 tHz spectral *** intensity of 162 pre-and main-pulses was at the tunnelling ionisation intensities(1-3)×10 W/cm and corresponded to sub-critical(transparent)plasma formation in *** analysis of tHz radiation revealed that orientation of the air density gradients generated by pre-pulses and their time-position locations defined the ellipticity of the generated tHz electrical *** rotational component of electric current is the origin of tHz radiation.

Despite advances in cancer treatment,pancreatic cancer(PC)remains a disease with high mortality rates and poor survival *** B7 homolog 3(B7-H3)checkpoint molecule is overexpressed among many malignant tumors,including PC,with low or absent expression in healthy *** modulating various immunological and nonimmunological molecular mechanisms,B7-H3 may influence the progression of ***,the impact of B7-H3 on the survival of patients with PC remains a subject of ***,most available scientific data recognize this molecule as a suppressive factor to antitumor immunity in ***,it has been demonstrated that B7-H3 stimulates the migration,invasion,and metastasis of PC cells,and enhances resistance to *** preclinical models of PC,B7-H3-targeting monoclonal antibodies have exerted profound antitumor effects by increasing natural killer cell-mediated antibodydependent cellular cytotoxicity and delivering radioisotopes and cytotoxic drugs to the tumor ***,PC treatment with B7-H3-targeting antibody-drug conjugates and chimeric antigen receptor t cells is being tested in clinical *** review provides a comprehensive analysis of all PC-related studies in the context of B7-H3 and points to deficiencies in the current data that should be overcome by future research.

Scalable Deposition Methods for Large-Area Production of Perovskite thin Films

the recent steady improvements in the performance of the nascent hybrid perovskite photovoltaic(PV)devices have led to power conversion efficiencies that rival the best-performing established PV ***,to scale these laboratory demonstrations to PV module-scale production will require development of scalable deposition methods for perovskite thin *** record result for perovskite PVs so far was achieved via spin coating,a technique that is popular in research laboratories for thin-film coating over relatively small device areas,but not considered to be a method that could be used to scale up the manufacturing of perovskite *** larger thin-film areas are needed for future commercial PV ***,some researchers have focused their efforts on perovskite deposition techniques that can be considered as scalable for mass production and have achieved notable results even on large ***,we present an overview of the solution-based and vapor-based deposition processes;we explain their influence on the molecular crystal growth behavior of perovskite thin films and discuss the morphology as well as other material quality *** presenting a comprehensive comparison of the deposition techniques and the corresponding performance parameters for different device sizes,we intent to guide the growing research community through the methods that might enable mass production of perovskite solar products.

Siberian silkmoth outbreaks surpassed geoclimatic barrier in Siberian Mountains

Siberian silkmoth(SSM,Dendrolimus sibiricus tschetv.)is the most important defoliator of Siberian pine(Pinus sibirica Du tour)and fir(Abies sibirica Ledeb.)***-induced SSM outbreaks are one of the major driving factors of successions within the taiga *** is suggested that climate change impacted the SSM range and life *** analyzed the migration of alpine and northerly SSM outbreak boundaries in Siberia and the impact of the climate variables and topography on the outbreak *** used time-series scenes(multispectral data,and vegetation indexes EVI and NDII)in combination with field studies,climate variables,and GIS *** found that SSM outbreaks in the area of alpine boundary shifted about 370 m uphill since the mid of *** outbreak onset was promoted by increased dryness and active temperatures and decreased root zone moisture content in the spring-early summer *** terrain topography strongly affected SSM outbreak onset and ***,the outbreak was located at the middle elevations on the gentle concave southeastern slopes,which are the favorable insect habitats between *** the outbreak expanded uphill and downhill,to steeper slopes,and both concave and convex *** with elevation range expansion,SSM surpassed its northern historical outbreak boundary:the potential outbreaks’boundary moved about 300 km *** warming contributes to SSM migration into former outbreak free conifer stands located in highlands and at northern latitudes.
