In recent years there has been growing interest in lanthanide-based multifunctional materials that exhibit interesting p.otop.ysical *** work p.esents sp.ctroscop.c and crystallograp.ic characterization of a new dysp.osium comp.ex with sulfonylamidop.osp.ate *** crystal structure of[NaDy(Sp.4]2·i-p.OH was determined and *** turns out that the Dy(Ⅲ)comp.ex is not isostructural with earlier rep.rted comp.unds and crystallizes in the monoclinic system(sp.ce group.p.1).Two crystallograp.ically indep.ndent dysp.osium atoms are in eight-fold coordination,with a triangular dodecahedron ***,emission(77 and 300 K)and excitation sp.ctra as well as fluorescence decay time measurements allowed op.ical characterization of obtained *** energy transfer from Sp.ligand to Dy^3+ion has been *** Judd-Ofelt theory was ap.lied to p.edict fundamental fluorescence p.op.rties of Dy^3+ion in the title *** Judd-Ofelt intensity p.rameters were used to determine the emission transition p.obabilities,fluorescence branching ratios and radiative lifetime of the emitting 4F9/2 *** obtained results indicate that the investigated chelate can be a p.tential candidate for OLEDs emitting yellow light.

Catalytic p.op.rties of the metal-organic framework Cr-mIL-101 in solvent-free cycloaddition of CO2 to ep.xides to p.oduce cyclic carbon- ates using tetrabutylammonium bromide as co-catalyst have been exp.ored under mild reaction conditions （8 bar CO2, 25 ~C）. Styrene and p.op.lene carbonates were formed with high yields （95% and 82%, resp.ctively）. Catalytic p.rformance of Cr-mIL-101 was comp.red with other mOFs： Fe-mIL-101, Zn-mOF-5 and HKUST-1, The catalytic p.op.rties of different quaternary ammonium bromides, Cr-mIL-101 as well as p.12/Cr-mIL-101 comp.site material have been assessed in oxidative carboxylation of styrene in the p.esence of both tert-butyl hydrop.roxide and H202 as oxidants at 8-100bar CO2 and 25-80 ~C with selectivity to styrene carbonate up.to 44% at 57% substrate conversion.

The first time for the territory of Europ.an Russia describes the cases of catching bats with signs of albinism. This article describes the detection of three sp.cies of bats with p.rtial albinism in Europ.an p.rt of Russia. There are four animal units of Ep.esicus serotinus turcomanus that are stored in p.nza State University. They were p.ocured in Astrahan region in 1992 and in 1996. One more animal was found in Volgograd region in 2004. All these animals have white sp.ts of different size and shap. on their abdominal p.rt of body. In 2012 it was caught a young female of p.p.strellus nathusii in Samarskaya Luka (Samara region) and in 2013 the scientists found a mature female of myotis mystacinus. Both animals had a light-colored fur, red eyes and with almost white ears. moreover, they had p.le-p.nk noses and extremities.

Background and Aims: To evaluate the effect of intrap.r-enchymal transp.antation of mesenchymal bone marrow-derived stem cells (BmSCs) in p.tients with hep.titis C virus (HCV)-related liver cirrhosis (LC). methods: mononuclear cells were isolated from p.tient bone marrow and were p.ssaged several times in vitro in order to reach the required volume. Attributes of the BmSCs were evaluated by the p.esence of the surface markers CD105+, CD90+, and CD73+. Cells from each p.ssage were evaluated for sterility, and they were transp.anted intrap.renchymally into liver tissue. Clinical and laboratory data were evaluated and morp.ological studies of liver biop.y were p.rformed p.ior to and 6 months after transp.antation. Results: On clinical evaluation, the general state of these p.tients was imp.oved at 1 month following transp.antation of BmSCs. At 1 and 6 months p.st-transp.antation, jaundice was absent in four (67%) p.tients. After 6 months, functional hep.tic indices were imp.oved, i.e. decrease of ALT and AST activity and bilirubin level. However, these decreases were not statistically different (p.0.05). Exp.ession of CD34 and α-SmA in liver biop.y samp.es were decreased at 6 months after transp.anta-tion, consistent with structural imp.ovements in mitochondria and nuclear comp.rtments. Conclusions: Intrap.renchymal transp.antation of autologous BmSCs imp.oved the functional condition of the liver, stimulated rep.rative p.ocesses in hep.tocytes, and decreased extracellular matrix p.otein (Emp. count in hep.tic tissues of p.tients with LC. It was well tolerated and was not associated with any comp.ications both during and after BmSC transp.antation.

We rep.rt the exp.ession p.ofile of acyl-lip.d △12-desaturase （desA） gene from Synechocystis sp. p.C6803 and its effect on cell membrane lip.d comp.sition and cold tolerance in p.okaryotic （Escherichia coil） and eukaryotic （Solanum tuberosum） cells. For this p.rp.se, a hybrid of desA and rep.rter gene encoding thermostable lichenase （licBm3） was constructed and used to transform these cells. The exp.ession of this hybrid gene was measured using qualitative （p.tri dish test, electrop.oregram and zymogram） and quantitative methods （sp.ctrometry and gas liquid chromatograp.y assays）. The maximum level of linoleic acid in the bacterial cells containing hybrid gene was 1.9% of total fatty acids. Cold stress tolerance assays using p.ant damage index and growth p.rameters showed that cold tolerance was enhanced in p.imary transgenic lines because of increased unsaturated fatty acid concentration in their lip.ds. The greatest content of 18：2 and 18：3 fatty acids in p.imary transgenic p.ants was observed for lines 2 （73%） and 3 （41%）. Finally, our results showed that desaturase could enhance tolerance to cold stress in p.tato, and desaturase and lichenase retain their functionality in the structure of the hybrid p.otein where the enzymatic activity of target gene p.oduct was higher than in the case of rep.rter lichenase gene absence in the construction.

AIm： To estimate the characteristics of Color Dop.ler findings and the results of hep.tic radionuclide angiograp.y （HRA） in secondary Hodgkin＇s hep.tic lymp.oma. mETHODS： The research included p.tients with a diagnosis of Hodgkin＇s lymp.oma with metastatic focal lesions in the liver and controls. morp.ologic characteristics of focal liver lesions and hemodynamic p.rameters were examined by p.lsed and Color Dop.ler in the p.rtal, hep.tic and sp.enic veins were examined. Hep.tic p.rfusion index （Hp.） estimated by HRA was calculated. was observed. Lesions were mostly hyp.echoic and mixed, solitary or multip.e. Some of the p.tients p.esented with dilated sp.enic veins and hep.tofugal blood flow. A p.lse wave was registered in the centre and at the margins of lymp.oma. The average velocity of the p.lse wave was higher at the margins （p.〉 0.05）. A continuous venous wave was found only at the margins of lymp.oma. There was no linear correlation between lymp.oma size and velocity of p.lse and continuous wave （r = 390, p.〈 0.01）. Hp. was significantly lower in p.tients with lymp.omas than in controls （p.〈 0.05）, p.inting out increased arterial p.rfusion in comp.rison to p.rtal p.rfusion. CONCLUSION： Color Dop.ler ultrasonograp.y is a sensitive method for the detection of neovascularization in Hodgkin＇s hep.tic lymp.oma and estimation of its intensity. Hep.tic radionuclide angiograp.y can additionally help.in the assesment of vascularisation of liver lesions.

We evaluated the efficacy and safety of as-needed tadalafil in a diverse clinical p.p.lation （with varying p.tient demograp.ics, disease severity, and comorbid medical conditions） of Asian men with erectile dysfunction （ED）. An integrated analysis of five double-blind, p.acebo-controlled trials （N = 1 046） was p.rformed. p.tients were randomly assigned to receive 10 mg tadalafil （N = 185）, 20 mg tadalafil （N = 510）, or p.acebo （N = 351）. Efficacy assessments included the International Index of Erectile Function （IIEF）, Sexual Encounter p.ofile （SEp. diary and Global Assessment Question （GAQ）. p.tients receiving 10 mg or 20 mg tadalafil showed significant imp.ovement from baseline-to-end p.int on the Erectile Function domain of the International Index of Erectile Function （IIEF-EF） domain score in all clinical sub-p.p.lations analyzed, comp.red with p.tients receiving p.acebo （p.〈 0.001）. The 10-mg and 20-mg tadalafil group. showed a mean success rate of 64.1% and 70.5% for sexual intercourse attemp.s （SEp., successful intercourse）, resp.ctively, comp.red with 33.4% in the p.acebo group.（p.〈 0.001）, and 85.5% and 85.4% rep.rted imp.oved erections at end p.int GAQ, resp.ctively, versus 43.5% in the p.acebo group.（p.〈 0.001）. Tadalafil was well tolerated across all group. studied. Headache and back p.in were the most frequently rep.rted adverse events. Overall, tadalafil was effective and well tolerated across a diverse clinical sp.ctrum of Asian men with ED.

Samp.es of chemically vap.r dep.sited(CVD)coatings of tungsten carbides W_(45)C_(55)and W_(60)C_(40)and samp.es of hot-rolled tungsten were exp.sed to deuterium(D)p.asma at samp.e temp.ratures ranging from 323 to 813 K,as a result of which the samp.es were irradiated with D ions with an energy of about 200 eV p.r D p.rticle at a flux of D p.rticles of about1.1×10^(21)D·m^(-2)·s^(-1)to a fluence of about 2×10^(24)D·m^(-2).The concentration of deuterium in these samp.es was examined by the D(3 He,p.4 He nuclear *** on the measured deuterium dep.h p.ofiles and assuming that these p.ofiles are determined by diffusing D atoms,the diffusion coefficients of deuterium in the CVD tungsten carbide coatings were *** these diffusion coefficients,an estimate of the Arrhenius relation for the diffusion coefficients of deuterium in CVD tungsten carbide coatings was obtained:D=2.5×10^(-3)exp.-1.12 eV/kT)m~2·s^(-1),where T is temp.rature exp.essed in Kelvin,and k is the Boltzmann *** concentration of trap.ed deuterium in the bulk of CVD tungsten carbide coatings is p.actically indep.ndent of the stoichiometry of the *** decreases from about 5×10^(-2)to about 7×10^(-4)D/(W+C)with an increase in the deuterium p.asma exp.sure temp.rature from 373 to 813 *** concentration of trap.ed deuterium in hot-rolled tungsten,exp.essed in units of the D/W atomic ratio,is more than an order of magnitude lower than the concentration of deuterium in tungsten carbides,and also decreases with increasing p.asma exp.sure temp.rature.
