Separation of refined soybean oil/n-hexane miscellas was studied using different commercial ultra- and nanofiltration membranes, with cut-oil＇s in the range of 1 to 5 kDa and salt rejection higher than 97% （MgSO4）. Commercial soybean oil and n-hexane miscellas with 1：3 and 1：1 mass ratios were permeated in a dead-end module. The effects of the feed pressure （2-25 bar） on oil and n-hexane fluxes and rejection were investigated. Oil rejection ranged from negative values to 30.8%, soybean oil flux from 28.9 to 617.8 g/m2 hl and n-hexane flux from 8.5 to 1,078.5 g m2 hl. Membrane fouling was observed at all experimental conditions studied. The membrane separation process has proven to be a promising alternative to solvent recovery in soybean oil extraction.

The input pulse of the laser PEARL with energy of 18 j and pulse duration of about 60 fs was compressed to 10 fs after passage through a 4-mm-thick KDP crystal and reflection at two chirped mirrors with sum dispersion of-200 fs^(2).The experiments were performed for the B-integral values from 5 to 19 without visible damage to the optical elements,which indicates that small-scale self-focusing is not a significant *** was shown that,by virtue of the low dispersion of the group velocity,the KDP crystal has some advantages over silica:a larger pulse compression coefficient,especially at a small value of the B-integral(B=5,...,9),lower absolute values of chirped mirror dispersion,and also a possibility to control the magnitude of nonlinearity and dispersion by changing crystal orientation.

Samples of ultra-high-purity tungsten prepared using chemical vapour deposition(CVD)technique were irradiated with neutrons at temperatures T_(irr)=373-483 K(stage Ⅱ of defect recovery)and T_(irr)=573-673 K(stage Ⅲ)up to 0.15 displacements per atom(dpa)in the Belgian reactor(BR2).The study of the microstructure of neutron-damaged samples using transmission electron microscopy(TEM)revealed visible defects with a predominance of dislocation *** an increase in the neutron irradiation temperature,the spatial distribution of the loops acquired pronounced inhomogeneity,and their average size moderately *** and voids were not ***-induced hardening was found and a linear correlation was obtained between Vickers microhardness and nanohardness for undamaged and neutron-irradiated CVD-W *** of tungsten with neutrons led to a significant increase in the retention of deuterium,which accumulated mainly in vacancy-type ***,the influence of the columnar grain structure in low-dose neutron-irradiated tungsten seemed to be non-trivial upon deuterium retention.

Martensitic steels are widely used in the automotive lightweight application but less understood in aspects of post-forming material *** steels show good ductility in roll forming but occasionally experience delayed(hydrogen)fracture issues,which are believed to be due to the formation of localized residual stress and a reduced product of strength and *** characterize the effect of roll forming process on the formation of residual stress and material properties variation of martensitic steel components,this paper investigates the forming-induced longitudinal residual stress and material property variation in a roll-formed high-strength MS1180 automotive rocker *** finite element analysis results for residual stress are validated by neutron diffraction *** numerical model is used to analyze the full evolution of residual stress during the roll forming process and the effect on material properties with major focus on the product of strength and *** is found that the flower design,in particular the overbending stages,play a significant role in the formation of residual stress and the change in material *** product of strength and elongation is significantly reduced across the profile,in particular in the *** achieved understanding will assist researchers comprehend the material properties of roll-formed component and therefore assist future studies aimed at preventing the occurrence of hydrogen fracture.

以加拿大多伦多市某工程为例,介绍了在复杂地质条件下采用局部桩筏基础(PPRF)的设计及施工问题;探讨了设计PPRF的决定性因素;在保持PPRF设计的完整性前提下,提出了单位沉降量的准则,并用于筏板和桩的设计;计算了PPRF的滑移及转动;最后,采用有效方法对该工程采用的局部桩筏基础进行了计算分析。结果表明,PPRF的设计主要取决于侧向土压力、分布不均的建筑荷载以及地基土的非均匀承载力,工程桩应主要布置在沉降较大的区域,即位于筏板基础承受高压力而土体承载力较低的西北部。探讨局部桩筏基础的设计与施工为该类型工程的基础设计提供了一个新的解决途径。

A 0.06%C low carbon steel was deformed in torsion over the temperature range 877-917℃in a 2% H_2 - Ar gas *** of 0.25 -5.0 were applied at strain rates ofε= 0.04 s^(-1) andε= 0.4 s^(-1) to study the formation of ferrite by dynamic transformation(DT) at temperatures above the A_(e3).The critical strain for ferrite formation by DT was aboutε= 0.2 and its volume fraction increased with strain and decreased with temperature above the A_(e3).Average ferrite grain sizes of 1.5μm to 5μm were produced,which decreased with strain *** the lower strain rate(ε= 0.04 s^(-1)) reverse transformation(RT) took place during deformation once an incubation time of about 40 s,was *** increase in strain rate fromε= 0.04 s^(-1) toε= 0.4 s^(-1) arrested RT during testing at all temperatures as the total test times did not exceed 13 *** present work shows that DT is favored at higher strain rates by increasing the driving force(*** energy ) and by suppressing RT.

AIM To study the effects of linagliptin on the structural signs of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) in db/db mice. METHODS Male diabetic db /db mice(***-Dock7m+/+Leprdb/j) aged 10 wk received the dipeptidyl peptidase 4(DPP4) inhibitor linagliptin(10 mg/kg) or saline as a placebo once per day by gavage for 8 wk. Intact db/db mice served as controls. Structural changes in the liver were analyzed from light and electron microscopic images of sections from intact, placebo-treated and linagliptin-treated animals. We estimated the changes in hepatocytes, sinusoidal cells, liver microvasculature and lymphatic roots. Hepatic staining for lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronan receptor-1(LYVE-1) was assessed by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS In 18-wk-old diabetic mice, liver steatosis(predominantly microvesicular and mediovesicular steatosis) was accompanied by dilation of the roots of the lymphatic system, interlobular blood vessels and bile canaliculi. Compared to saline-treated mice, linagliptin-treated mice exhibited a reduction in the mean numeral densities of hepatocytes with lipid droplets(92.4% ± 1.7% vs 64.9% ± 5.8% per field of view, P = 0.0002) and a lower proportion of hepatocytes with a high density of lipid droplets(20.7% ± 3.6% vs 50.4% ± 3.1%, P = 0.0007). We observed heterogeneous hepatocytes and relatively preserved cell structures in the linagliptin group. Dilation of blood and lymphatic vessels, as well as ultrastructural changes in the hepatocyte endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria, were alleviated by linagliptin treatment. In intact and placebo-treated mice, immunohistochemical staining for LYVE-1 was observed in the endothelial cells of interlobular lymphatic vessels and on the membranes of some endothelial sinusoidal cells. We observed an enlarged LYVE-1 reaction area in linagliptin-treated mice compared to intact and placebo-treated mice. Recent studies have demonstrated a new role for Klf10, a Krüppel-like transcription factor, in skeletal muscle, specifically relating to mitochondrial function. Thus, it was of interest to analyze additional tissues that are highly reliant on optimal mitochondrial function such as the cerebellum and to decipher the role of Klf10 in the functional and structural properties of this brain region. In vivo (magnetic resonance imaging and localized spectroscopy, behavior analysis) and in vitro (histology, spectroscopy analysis, enzymatic activity) techniques were applied to comprehensively assess the cerebellum of wild type (WT) and Klf10 knockout (KO) mice. Histology analysis and assessment of locomotion revealed no significant difference in Klf10 KO mice. Diffusion and texture results obtained using MRI revealed structural changes in KO mice characterized as defects in the organization of axons. These modifications may be explained by differences in the levels of specific metabolites (myo-inositol, lactate) within the KO cerebellum. Loss of Klf10 expression also led to changes in mitochondrial activity as reflected by a significant increase in the activity of citrate synthase, complexes I and IV. In summary, this study has provided evidence that Klf10 plays an important role in energy production and mitochondrial function in the cerebellum.
