Food Waste(FW)is a pressing environmental concern that affects every country *** one-third of the food that is produced ends up as waste,contributing to the carbon ***,the FW must be properly treated to reduce environmental *** study evaluates a few available Food Waste Treatment(FWT)technologies,such as anaerobic digestion,composting,landfill,and incineration,which are widely used.A Bipolar Picture Fuzzy Set(BPFS)is proposed to deal with the ambiguity and uncertainty that arise when converting a real-world problem to a mathematical model.A novel Criteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation-Stable Preference Ordering Towards Ideal Solution(CRITIC-SPOTIS)approach is developed to objectively analyze FWT selection based on thirteen criteria covering the industry’s technical,environmental,and entrepreneurial *** CRITIC method is used for the objective analysis of the importance of each criterion in FWT *** SPOTIS method is adopted to rank the alternative hassle-free,following the *** proposed model offers a rank reversal-free model,i.e.,the rank of the alternatives remains unaffected even after the addition or removal of an *** addition,comparative and sensitivity analyses are performed to ensure the reliability and robustness of the proposed model and to validate the proposed result.

A cheap method allowing fabrication of biocompatible,ultra-small(2-10 nm)and fluorescent(λ_(em)=425-500 nm)nanohybrids(NHs)from coffee wastes is *** gadolinium-doped nanohybrids(GDNHs)or gadolinium-free carbon dots(GFCDs)can be synthesized in a domestic microwave oven according to green synthesis *** sizes,chemical composition,impact on proton magnetic resonance relaxation time and optical properties of the GDNHs and GFCDs were studied in details and *** particular,doping of the NHs with Gd^(3+)ions,up to 1.87%w/w of gadolinium per particles’weight,will allow their application for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Furthermore,cell culture tests on human adenocarcinomic alveolar basal epithelial cells line(A549)have shown high biocompatibility of the GDNHs and in a wide concentration range 100-1000μg/ml.

The main goal of the article is the creation and study of thermosensitive and wound-healing gelatin-alginate bio-polymer hydrogels modiﬁed with humic *** rheological properties,swelling and contraction behavior were experimentally investigated,elucidated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and used to achieve the physiological melting point,which is necessary for successful drug *** has been shown that in the gelatin-alginate-humic acid biopolymer hydrogels systems,it is possible to obtain a gel-sol transition temperature close to the physiological temperature of 37°C,which is important for drug delivery in the treatment of *** changing the type and concentration of humic acids in the gelatin-alginate hydrogel,it turned out to be achiev-able to regulate the softening time of the gel on the human body in the range from 6 to 20 min,which provides the possibility of controlled prolonged delivery of *** on the study of the inﬂuence of calcium ions on the properties of humic acids and ion exchange,as well as the interaction of humic acids,sodium alginate and gelatin with the formation of tighter gel networks,approaches to regulate the rate of softening of hydrogels at physiological temperature and their swelling,which simulates the absorption of exudate,were proposed and *** addition,low shrinkage of the hydrogel surface due to cross-linking of gelatin-alginate networks when modiﬁed with humic acids was experimentally conﬁrmed,which is important for avoiding problems of wound contracture and contour deformations when using dressings for wound ***,the developed opti-mized innovative biopolymer hydrogels synergistically combine the outstanding properties of natural molecular polymers and humic acids and are promising for the creation of effective medicines for wound healing.

Rhombohedral phase Hf_(x)Zr_(1.x)O_(2)(HZO,x from 0 to 1)films are promising for achieving robust ferroelectric polarization without the need for an initial wake-up pre-cycling,as is normally the case for the more commonly studied orthorhombic ***,a large spontaneous polarization observed in rhombohedral films is not fully understood,and there are also large discrepancies between experimental and theoretical *** this work,in rhombohedral ZrO_(2)thin films,we show that oxygen vacancies are not only a key factor for stabilizing the phase,but they are also a source of ferroelectric polarization in the *** is shown experimentally through the investigation of the structural properties,chemical composition and the ferroelectric properties of the films before and after an annealing at moderate temperature(400℃)in an oxygen environment to reduce the V_(o)concentration *** experimental work is supported by density functional theory(DFT)calculations which show that the rhombohedral phase is the most stable one in highly oxygen defective ZrO_(2)*** DFT calculations also show that V_(o)contribute to the ferroelectric *** findings reveal the importance of V_(o)for stabilizing rhombohedral ZrO_(2)thin films with superior ferroelectric properties.

BACKGROUND Women with a history of serious psychotic disorders are at increased risk of disease relapse during ***-acting injectable(LAI)antipsychotics have been widely used to improve adherence and prevent relapse in patients with various severe psychotic disorders,but there is a lack of high-quality data from previous research on the safety of LAI antipsychotics during *** To summarize relevant data on maternal,pregnancy,neonatal,and developmental outcomes from published cases of LAI antipsychotic use in *** A literature search was performed through November 11,2023,using three online databases:PubMed/MEDLINE,Scopus,and Web of *** reports or case series that reported information about the outcomes of pregnancy in women who used LAI antipsychotics at any point in pregnancy,with available full texts,were *** statistics,narrative summation,and tabulation of the extracted data were *** A total of 19 publications satisfied the inclusion criteria:3 case series,15 case reports,and 1 conference *** reported the outcomes of LAI antipsychotic use in 74 women and 77 *** use of secondgeneration LAI antipsychotics was reported in the majority(n=47;61.0%)of ***-generation LAI antipsychotics were administered during 30 pregnancies(39.0%).Most of the women(approximately 64%)had either satisfactory control of symptoms or no information about relapse,while approximately 12%of them had developed gestational diabetes mellitus.A minority of cases reported adverse outcomes such as stillbirth,spontaneous abortion,preterm birth,low birth weight,congenital anomalies,and neurological manifestations in ***,there were no reports of negative long-term developmental *** Currently available data seem reassuring,but further well-designed studies are required to properly evaluate the risks and benefits of LAI antipsychotic use during pregnancy.
