Continuum manipulators(CM)are soft and flexible manipulators with large numbers of degrees of freedom and can perform complex tasks in an unstructured ***,their deformability and compliance can deviate distal tip under uncertain external *** address this challenge,a novel tension-based control scheme has been proposed to modulate the stiffness of a tendon-driven CM,reducing the tip position errors caused by uncertain external *** minimize the tip position error,a virtual spring is positioned between the deviated and the desired tip *** proposed algorithm corrects the manipulator deviated tip position,improving tension distribution and stiffness profile,resulting in higher stiffness and better *** corresponding task space stiffness and condition numbers are also computed under different cases,indicating the effectiveness of the tension control scheme in modulating the manipulator's *** validation conducted on an in-house developed prototype confirms the practical feasibility of the proposed approach.

In this study, the simultaneous determination of verapamil hydrochloride and gliclazide in pharmaceuticals by chemometric approaches using UV spectrophotometry has been reported. Verapamil hydrochloride (VER) (Benzeneacetonitrile, α-[3-[[2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl) ethyl] methylamino]propyl]-3, 4-dimethoxy-α-(1-methylethyl) hydrochloride) is an L-type calcium channel blocker of the phenylalkylamine class. It has been used in the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and cardiac arrhythmia. Gliclazide (GLZ) (1-(Hexahydrocyclopenta[c]pyrrol-2(1H)-yl)-3-[(4-methylphenyl) sulphonyl]urea) is an oral hypoglycaemic (anti-diabetic) drug and is classified as a second generation sulfonylurea. Spectra of VER and GLZ were recorded at several concentrations within their linear ranges between wavelengths of 200 nm to 400 nm in 0.1N HCl. Partial least squares regression (PLS) and principle components regression (PCR) were used for chemometric analysis of data and the parameters of the chemometric procedures were optimized. The recoveries were satisfactory and statistically comparable. The method was successfully applied to pharmaceutical formulation, tablet, with no interference from excipients as indicated by the recovery study results. The proposed methods are simple, rapid and can be easily used in the quality control of drugs as alternative analysis tools.

The Indo-Gangetic Plain(IGP)is one of the most seismically vulnerable areas due to its proximity to the *** information system(GIS)-based seismic characterization of the IGP was performed based on the degree of deformation and fractal *** zone between the Main Boundary Thrust(MBT)and the Main Central Thrust(MCT)in the Himalayan Mountain Range(HMR)experienced large variations in earthquake magnitude,which were identified by Number-Size(NS)fractal *** central IGP zone experienced only moderate to low mainshock *** analysis of earthquake epicenters reveals a large scattering of earthquake epicenters in the HMR and central IGP ***,the fault fractal analysis identifies the HMR,central IGP,and south-western IGP zones as having more ***,the seismicity of the study region is strong in the central IGP,south-western IGP,and HMR zones,moderate in the western and southern IGP,and low in the northern,eastern,and south-eastern IGP zones.

AIM:To describe the gonioscopic profile and intraocular pressure(IOP)in primary angle-closure(PAC)disease in patients presenting to a tertiary eye care network in ***:A cross-sectional hospital-based study that included 31484 new patients presenting between 2011 and *** with a clinical diagnosis of PAC/suspect/glaucoma were *** data was collected from an electronic medical record ***:PAC glaucoma(PACG)(47.55%)was the most common diagnosis followed by PAC(39.49%)and PAC suspect(PACS;12.96%).Female preponderance(54.6%)was noted with higher mean age at presentation among males(P<0.0001).PACS and PAC showed the highest prevalence in 6th decade but PACG was higher at 7th *** probability of angle opening was 95.93%,90.32%and 63.36%in PACS,PAC and PACG eyes respectively post peripheral iridotomy(PI).Plateau iris syndrome(PIS)was noted in 252 eyes and all showed post dilated rise of IOP.A post dilated IOP rise was also noted with 8.86%,33.95%and 57.19%eyes with PACS,PAC and PACG respectively with IOP rise between 6-8 mm Hg across the disease ***:The superior quadrant is the narrowest angle and difficult to open with indentation and post *** probability of angle opening is less in PIS especially the complete variety along with post dilated IOP *** post dilated IOP rise in angle closure eyes warrants a careful dilatation,especially with PIS.

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is one of the major ingredients for the development of efficient software systems within a time frame and low-cost involvement. From the literature, it is evident that there are various kinds of process models that are used by the software industries for the development of small, medium and long-term software projects, but many of them do not cover risk management. It is quite obvious that the improper selection of the software development process model leads to failure of the software products as it is time bound activity. In the present work, a new software development process model is proposed which covers the risks at any stage of the development of the software product. The model is named a Hemant-vipin (HV) process model and may be helpful for the software industries for development of the efficient software products and timely delivery at the end of the client. The efficiency of the HV process model is observed by considering various kinds of factors like requirement clarity, user feedback, change agility, predictability, risk identification, practical implementation, customer satisfaction, incremental development, use of ready-made components, quick design, resource organization and many more and found through a case study that the presented approach covers many of parameters in comparison of the existing process models. .

Software Defect Prediction Using Hybrid Machine Learning Techniques: A Comparative Study

When a customer uses the software, then it is possible to occur defects that can be removed in the updated versions of the software. Hence, in the present work, a robust examination of cross-project software defect prediction is elaborated through an innovative hybrid machine learning framework. The proposed technique combines an advanced deep neural network architecture with ensemble models such as Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF), and XGBoost. The study evaluates the performance by considering multiple software projects like CM1, JM1, KC1, and PC1 using datasets from the PROMISE Software Engineering Repository. The three hybrid models that are compared are Hybrid Model-1 (SVM, RandomForest, XGBoost, Neural Network), Hybrid Model-2 (GradientBoosting, DecisionTree, LogisticRegression, Neural Network), and Hybrid Model-3 (KNeighbors, GaussianNB, Support Vector Classification (SVC), Neural Network), and the Hybrid Model 3 surpasses the others in terms of recall, F1-score, accuracy, ROC AUC, and precision. The presented work offers valuable insights into the effectiveness of hybrid techniques for cross-project defect prediction, providing a comparative perspective on early defect identification and mitigation strategies. .

Data security is a very important part of data transmission over insecure channels connected through high-speed networks. Due to COVID-19, the use of data transmission over insecure channels has increased in an exponential manner. Hybrid cryptography provides a better solution than a single type of cryptographical technique. In this paper, nested levels of hybrid cryptographical techniques are investigated with the help of Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) and Paillier cryptographical techniques. In the first level, information will be encrypted by DNA and at the second level, the ciphertext of DNA will be encrypted by Paillier cryptography. At the decryption time, firstly Paillier cryptography will be processed, and then DAN cryptography will be processed to get the original text. The proposed algorithm follows the concept of Last Encryption First Decryption (LEFD) at the time of decryption. The computed results are depicted in terms of tables and graphs.
